I recently discovered this place when I was visiting another restaurant next door and I was determined to come to Pagoda one day when I saw so many positive reviews. I got a grilled cheese sandwich, guava cream puff, and blue eyes iced tea to go. Everything was so fresh and filling. They also elegantly make their teas by offering option to add in rose or lavender in them. Moreover, the staff her were so polite and addressed me by my name when my stuff it was all ready to be picked up. Hope to come try their famous breakfast tacos here one day!

Delectable breakfast tacos with refried beans and flour tortillas, delicious lunchtime tacos with corn tortillas, and coffees that rival the finest coffee shops. If you have a desire to try the grits bowl, get there before 10am - this creamy delight goes fast. The ample and varied outdoor seating is a splendid way to enjoy good weather in New Orleans. Warm customer service at point of order. A great morning getaway.

Amazing customer service, they know their customers on first name bases. The breakfast bacon tacos tasted great! We got there later so than ran out of the grits and pastries; but we can't wait to come back. The lunch tacos were great too and nice portion sizes. We also enjoyed the mango drink! We will definitely be back again. Great outdoor seating for a nice cool day!

This was our favorite spot to pick up breakfast on our trip. This cafe is super cute and has a lot of outdoor seating. You order at the counter and wait for your food at a table. It takes maybe 5-10 minutes for your order to be ready unless you are just ordering already made pastries. We love breakfast tacos and these are decent and packed full. The salsa is a must. We also had the banana nutella bread which was a huge, decadent slice. They have a bunch of other yummy sounding pastries and sandwiches, but I couldn't say no to a breakfast taco! I highly recommend this place if you are looking to a somewhat quick breakfast.

I visited Pagoda with some friends for a mid-morning snack. I had the mushroom turnover with an iced green tea and my friends both had the sausage roll. These hand-held snacks were small but exactly what we needed! The mushroom turnover was flavorful and the pastry was perfect. My friends liked the sausage rolls too! We took our food to go but there is outside seating available under a covered patio. Be patient and prepared to wait as they are popular! I would definitely return.

Happy Birthday To Me, right. I found it to be a quaint neighborhood cafe with hours from 7am - 3pm; perfect cafe hours. As I approached the cashier, I noticed a middle aged lady with bright fiery red hair... I just knew from her vibrant appearance, she'd be bubbly, BUT she wasn't. Lol. I notice a French accent, which was quite a surprise, there was no mention of such in any of the reviews I read. I ordered a croissant sandwich because from a picture that I saw online, it looked to be a generous size & quite scrumptious. Much to my dismay, while tasty, it was much, much smaller than its online appearance. The food was delivered to me, which was quite pleasant & unexpected. I ordered a latte with Oat Milk as my tummy won't tolerate the cow's milk. Moooooo. Lol. I like the quaint feel indoors and to note, there's an outdoor patio to offset the intimate interior. On this morning, it was a bit too cold to sit outside and I'd like to say I'll return, but that's a lie. The reason you ask, well I didn't feel welcomed upon my entrance. When ordering my sandwich, the red haired cashier got snippy with me after I asked a question by saying "if you don't see it on the menu, we don't have it"... I was like hmmmmmm ok. It was my bday, so I was in the BEST of spirits & mood, maybe RED woke up on the wrong side of "le lit", which is bed in French . Definitely not something I want to be part of my BIRTHDAY EXPERIENCE, so I'm penning this review and erasing it from my mind. If you find a parking spot, grab it because as stated, it's in a neighborhood, so parking is limited. $9.30 for a small breakfast sandwich is a bit much, so bring extra coins if you come, you'll need it. And pack an extra smile, in case you don't get one from RED.

"You can get a drink at the bar," she told us. Yes, the bar that literally has three occupied stools and ten more people crowded around. So, a reservation doesn't actually mean a reservation. It means "wait for hostess to show up for eight minutes, then be ignored for five minutes, then be told you won't be seated until half an hour after your reservation, while we give preferential treatment to our friends" Please avoid. I had the chance to come back to the city last weekend, when a good friend from my Italy days was in town for a conference. I was able to meet her to explore the city for a day, and we of course had to make room for beignets and Cafe du Monde. We almost settled for one of the locations at an indoor mall, but we stuck out a 20-30 min walk from where we were to make it to the original at the French Quarter. Since it was just two of us, we were able to get seated pretty quickly even though there was an expected Saturday morning line. I am also glad my friend had cash because they STILL only accept cash for payment. No credit cards, which is wild at any US establishment nowadays. We also tried to only order one plate of beignets (come in a set of 3) and one coffee each but the server came back with two beignet plates and coffees. $20 with tax included! The beignets themselves were scrumptious, warm, and delicious ofcourse. So I suppose worth any inconvenience that we may have experienced. However, the tables are left incredibly messy. It is true that our server did wipe off our table before we sat down but it is embarrassing to see patrons create such a mess to begin with.

That didn't make sense, especially since I've had their French toast before and it wasn't like that. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable just properly cooked French toast.
