Our order was ready 10 minutes before anticipated. We had one of their seasonal special pizzas, the BBQ Chicken Primo. So many punchy flavors that sing together! It's a bit spicy with the Hatch chiles, smoky with the bbq sauce, filling with the chicken, tangy with the pickled onions, and decadent with the cheese. The crust was perfectly cooked and was piping hot. We also had a side Caesar salad. It's a good Caesar salad! Nothing fancy but complemented the pizza nicely. Well, it's good pizza, and maybe on this night, being it was New Year's Eve, it wasn't 5 star quality it was however still a solid 4 start. With the Kiddos wanting a Cheese Pizza, and us wanting something with meat, veg and Garlic, we ordered two large pizzas, and one smaller one for our non-tomato loving friend. The cheese pizzas was exactly as we expected, just a fair amount of cheese, and sauce. The Roman Holiday pizza was missing just something, it was good, but not honestly amazing, I haven't had it before, but it didn't make us feel like it was a great combination of flavors. I am a huge fan of this pizza place because most of the time, the pizza is on point and quite good. The slices are generally the best way to eat pizza here as occasionally, if you buy a whole pie, it's not quite as good for some reason. And I'm not sure why the difference exists between getting slices and getting a whole pie. This pizza reminds me a bit of the New York style pizza I had growing up in the Bronx. It's not nearly as bubbling with hot drippy cheese or delicious sliced sausages but almost as tasty most times. They have some unique toppings combinations, some are excellent, and other combos are pretty basic with not much taste. Zooming around Edmonds and the Shoreline-Seattle borderlands today, Monday 16 October 2023, I thought it would be fun to do something I had not done before at a Pagliacci Pizza - dine in-restaurant solo and get a slice of pizza from the pizza bar. Pulling into the parking lot, all three spots were open. I could see workers busy beyond the dining area, visible through the windows of the restaurant front. Entering the restaurant, I found the pizza bar straight ahead inside the entrance and by the cashier. Scanning the pizzas, I decided to go with a slice one of my favorite pizzas from Pagliacci, the spicy chicken. The worker manning the counter got the slice ready and took my payment. I went with dining in-restaurant, choosing a spot facing out towards the parking area. My slice of spicy chicken pizza was warm and flavorful. The peppers provided their spice, the chicken chunks were tender, and the cheeses were melt in my mouth without providing too much tug in the form of a cheese pull. Texturally the crust was fluffy without being crispy or burned. The pizza was thin and could bend/fold easily for those who eat their pizza that way. Very pleased with the slice. A condiments, napkins, and tray return station was located approximately across from the cashier by the entrance/exit. While the parking spots out front of the restaurant were large, maneuvering out of the spots may be difficult depending on traffic, if cars are parked in the other sports, and how much daylight there is. Watch out for the curb at the far side of the parking lot from the traffic lights. Might have managed to bump into that twice, when I was first learning to drive and again tonight :). I used to enjoy slices from the Crown Hill shop, but today the food was disappointing. The crust was OK but the sauce (the most important part of a pizza) tasted like it came out of a can of Chef-Boyardee from Safeway. The required tip started at 15% which is too much. I won't return. read more

Really good, professional service--the guy who took our order. Our food was a different story. Not like I remember the Pagliacci on Dibble Ave. The crust was equal to or worse than a frozen pizza. Ours was definitely overdone. For what we paid, we should have stuck with our tried and true Soprano's pizza. Tomorrow I am going to call and see about getting a refund. (1) overcooked (2) disproportionate ingredients distribution (3) cheap with the toppings (4) burnt taste (5) standard crust is way to thin. Definitely not worth the $40 for two small pizzas. I don't really like pizza. Before you send me hate mail, read on. I used to only eat the salad here which I love. But then I tried one of the seasonal pizzas and now I like (some) Pagliacci pizza. My favorite is the chanterelle mushroom pizza they have in the Fall. My second favorite is one called the Rocket. Two modifications/hacks make it extra tasty: 1) request garlic oil 2) buy some vinegar reduction and drizzle it on top of the pizza before eating. Nonnis vinegar reduction works well which you can get at Costco or any regular grocery store. Voila! Better than pizza from Italy! read more

Stopped in again on 6/11/15 after seeing signage that says this location also serves pizza slices. This only started about a week and a half ago per the counter person. This is a great idea to be able to sample a variety of what Pagliacci has to offer. I brought home one pepperoni, two cheese slices, and two chicken and spicy pepper slices. It hit the spot for the kiddo and I and is especially convenient for a late dinner option. Make sure to pick up a pizza slices stamp card too! Pagliaccis puts other pizza places to SHAME! I can't even begin to explain how good it is. Our favorite is the 12th Man Primo. The seasonal pizzas never disappoint and I love the unique combos they come up with. If you're looking for a classic, you can't go wrong with the Brooklyn Bridge. While you there go ahead and order a Pagliacci salad, you won't regret it. The gluten free dough is great as well, I'd even be willing to say it could pass for a "real" pizza! This Pagliacci is more of a "take out" joint. Yes, they have tables and sell slices now. However, getting service may be a challenge during brisk take out periods. I've had delivery from here many times. The pizza is always good and service sound. The pizza isn't exactly cheap but that's okay. They offer a regular menu and specials. I ordered a primo fig pizza this week. It was really good! The crust was cooked perfectly. It was covered with figs, basil, and prosciutto. The flavors worked really well together. The basil is fragrant when you bring the slice to your mouth. The salty prosciutto is complimentary to the sweetness of the figs. Slices are a recent addition at this location. When I went in, they had three slices of three different varieties. Within 10 minutes, they had two more pies out. Never order from this Pagliaci. Called in an order that was supposed to be done 20 minutes before it was finished. Was waiting outside in car where clerk told us yo wait. Saw an adult male customer who was also waiting ask to and be allowed to use the restroom, but when my teenage daughter asked if she could use it right after him she was told customers were not allowed to use it. The male customer had just walked out from being allowed to use it. Will never return here. Apply same rules to everyone, and if you are making a customer wait because you have not finished the order by the time promised, let them use your bathroom. I recommend customers go to the Edmonds Pagliaci instead. Their employees are not jerks at that location. read more

My family is new to Seattle so one day, My babies were asleep and it was pouring down rain. I was craving pizza so I did a quick google search and Pagliacci came up. I ordered their delivery special ( buy one 11 inch pizza and get the second for 6.99 ) and the lady who took my order was very thorough. I requested that the driver call me once he got here because my children were sleeping. ( Any mother knows how the doorbell can make a mama homocidal! ) The delivery guy showed up earlier than expected with the pizza still piping hot. He was friendly as can be and my pizza tasted ahhhhhmazing! I am now currently waiting on my second pizza order and again, the person taking my order was thorough and friendly. Normally this is good pizza not this time. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza the biggest one they make. First of all the delivery was gross he tossed it in the lobby on the floor like he was delivering a package. I got the pizza off the floor took it upstairs to our apartment opened the box look okay. I put a couple of slices on a plate and took a bite. The coldest and not thoroughly cooked enough best describes this pizza. I couldn't eat another bite it was the grossest pizza I ever had. Tip: ask them how long the pizza slice you want has been out there before ordering it - pricey pizza. Large pizza is on the expensive side for sure - if you call in an order, you have to pay online; can't pay in store - they converted their limited inside space to pizza box storage and require customers wait outside in the rain for their food. WTH - if you order via phone they text you telling you to wait outside until they text you to tell you your order is done. So you get there and wait outside but they never text you and you'll be waiting for quite awhile. Very rude.
