The class room was big with duplex scanning machines set up. The lectures are indepth with power point presentation and those slides printed in a book for each student. The presenters are knowledgeable and have answered questions AND helped with the hands on scanning. The class is full day. The first part of the day(4hrs) is lecture. Then a CATERED LUNCH OF YOU CHOICE. The rest of the afternoon is for hands on scanning. PVI has live models that are normal and have pathology. They are usually clients and pleasant to work with. We had various instructors on different subjects and the Q&A got answered properly. Case studies were shown and as I mentioned each day, 4 hrs of hands on scanning with patients with and without disease. I know that PVI would put a great course together. My first experience with the TCD/TCI course showed me that PVI really put lecture and hands on training is worth the price. Materials are always provided and the instructors are more than willing to give additional information via email. This time around, I got to work with Ridge and Mimi again. But also got to learn from Anne, Lisa and Josh.. all great instructors. ------------------------------------------------------------------- As for Healthcare services. Pacific Vascular is a contractor to many hospitals in King County. All technologists are well trained as PVI is also a Vascular training center for people that meet their qualifications.

I also received Dr. Hoke's message on MyChart with my X-ray results that same day! I really appreciated the convenience and efficiency they offered. Parking was easy since there was a parking lot.

First, there were seven receptionist there when I walked in no one else in line and no one else waiting in the waiting room. Two of them were having a conversation with each other and the rest were just staring at their computers no one was on the phone or speaking to another patient. I stood there for a good 7 minutes standing there by the sign that says "please wait here" until someone finally looked up and acknowledge me. I almost took a photo because it was almost comical how I was just standing there for that long and there were so many receptionist for one building and no one else in there. It gets worse unfortunately the doctor I was seen by completely dismissed the whole reason while I was there to see him. He didn't ask me any questions about myself how I was feeling why I was there or why my doctor referred me there. He was blatantly dismissive and honestly came across misogynistic. A wasted copay and future bill i'm going to have to pay. An added misfortunate bonus the parking situation is terrible there and the building feels old and dirty.

I walked into a passive aggressive storm and have never met someone who truly hates customers to this degree. My employment agency has an account here and claims they send all their applicants here. I don't know why because the short blonde haired lady claims not to know anything about Proactive Staffing Resources then plays the "20 questions" game and the only reason I can figure out is that it is an effort to prohibit you from taking the test. I walked in and there was an empty waiting room except for one other guy seated. After relaying to Ms. short blonde that I was directed here to take a standard preemployment drug test she starts in asking me for account information, which I know nothing about. I calmly read her the email I received from Proactive sending me there she retorted dramatically "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you angry". At this point the other guy in the room erupts into muffled laughter... He must have had the same go around with her too. Then she starts in with her typical response "sir, you can't take the test unless we have the account info", and I offer to help " OK, should I call the agency?" She responds " No, I'm filling out the form for you now" Let me get this right, you just wanted info, I didn't know it so offered to get it and now you say you've had it all along? The rest of the liquid test went the same way, lots of passive aggressive posturing, no help and full of angst. Thank you for the disservice!

    Labcorp

I've been to this LabCorp several times, always hoping my experience the previous time was a fluke…read more I'm not gonna do that again, I'm never coming back to this location and I'm not just not gonna use the LabCorp anymore. Places do not get this bad unless it's management and leadership that absolutely does not care about patients. That said the employees here are also apathetic and honestly hateful. It's like they hate you for needing blood work. Check-in is chaotic, wait times are a fiction that they invent to sound good but are not reflective of reality or your real wait time whatsoever. Appointments are meaningless. Check-in is absurdly, complicated and annoying, requiring you to re-enter so much personal information that you already entered and that they already know. I asked a simple question at the front desk - there was no one there at first, so I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up, though that person completely ignored me, so I had to wait another five minutes for someone who actually cared. They didn't care very much, but they at least acted like I existed, which is a plus for this location. My question was do you even have a lab order on file for me? They said we don't have that information. The place that's supposed to perform the lab work somehow doesn't have the ability to look up if there's a lab order for me, that's what the front desk person told me. That is how useless they are. That is how hateful they are. That is how much they do not want to help. Do not go to this location. There are other locations if you want to use LabCorp that are not much further, and are so so much better. This location is the worst medical experience I have ever had in my life, and I've lived long enough to have had some pretty awful ones.

I'm not sure that writing reviews about a laboratory will matter because people have to go there…read moreregardless. But, for the sake of feedback to the management if they care, this place is so chaotic. The signage is terrible, it's not clear where you are supposed to wait, it's confusing whether they want you to check in in person or use one of the kiosks, nobody looks up to help you (it actually feels like they are trying to avoid you if I'm being completely honest) and it's just all in all a messy experience. It's like this every single time. I'm in healthcare myself and I feel like I'm able to navigate things a little easier than some people, but when elderly people, cancer patients, overwhelmed people, etc., are trying to get their blood drawn, adding this kind of stress to their already stressful life is just unnecessary. Having said that, the two times I've had to be here in the last few months, at least the actual phlebotomists were competent and kind. I do have to say that nobody seems to be enjoying their employment here. They are professional, but if you look around, no one seems happy to be there.
