Unfortunately, this Marietta location has now given me the same experience two years in a row, and it's consistently poor. I ordered glasses on January 3rd based on the advertised 10-day delivery timeframe. Since then, I've received multiple changing explanations for delays, each only communicated after the previous promised date had already passed. First it was a frame backorder, then lens grinding delays, and most recently a broken lens and backordered lens material pushing delivery even further out. At no point was any of this proactively communicated. I had to call each time to find out what had changed. To make matters more confusing, I received an automated "hope your glasses are working out" survey while being told the order was still weeks from completion. The issue here isn't that delays happen. It's the lack of transparency, ownership, and communication. Other LensCrafters stores clearly manage this better, which makes this feel like a local management issue rather than a brand-wide one. If timelines slip, customers should be told early and clearly, not after deadlines pass. I wanted to give this store the benefit of the doubt, but experiencing the same pattern across two different years makes it hard to recommend.

My daughter was pleased with the service she received from the optometrist and the whole front end. Heck, I may go back from a couple of frames I liked.

Since then, I have dealt with nothing but delays, excuses, and unprofessional service. After waiting 2.5 weeks with no update, I had to call the store myself. Joel, the store manager, told me my order would be ready for pickup on September 13. That date came and went with no contact from the store. When I called again, I was told the manager was unavailable. On September 16, Joel finally returned my call and admitted my order still was not ready. He promised to reissue the order and ship it directly to my home address. Now it is September 22--almost a full month after my appointment--and I still do not have my lenses. Today, Joel provided me with a tracking number, and while reviewing it together, I discovered that he failed to include my apartment number, which will cause yet another delay. This is completely unacceptable. Vision care is not optional--it is essential--and I should not have to chase down an order I paid for weeks ago. The mishandling of my order, the lack of communication, and the repeated mistakes demonstrate a total disregard for customers. I have been strung along for a month by Joel, the store manager at location #1448, and there has been no accountability from regional manager Brad Morgan either. At this point, I am demanding immediate action to correct this issue and a clear explanation as to why my order has been mishandled from the start. I will also be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and escalating this matter further if necessary. Customers should never have to fight this hard to receive products they already paid for.

Rude & passive aggressive in their answers ... just trying to get me off the phone by putting me on extended holds. I bought 4 pairs of glasses and was promised 2 weeks ... 4 weeks later I finally got everything. I spoke to a manager to voice my displeasure but nothing got better. I rushed from work to pick up before a 6pm closing and luckily arrived at 5:40 (plenty early) only to find them switching off the lights in the store to discourage customers from entering, no doubt so they could make an early escape. I have been a customer for 20 years ... At my recent visit to renew my contact lens prescription, I saw a doctor I hadn't met before (a woman with red hair). Unfortunately, the interaction was extremely uncomfortable. She came across as very passive-aggressive and informed me that I had an infection in my right eye. I've always worn Acuvue Oasys lenses, and she explained that they are very lubricated and that, since I'm not always great about taking them out, she recommended switching to a different brand. However, once payment was taken, she handed me the same brand she had just told me she would not recommend. She continued to "un-recommend" them while simultaneously trying to sell them to me, which was incredibly awkward and confusing. Given that she had just said they weren't helping my eye infection, this interaction made me feel very uncomfortable and unsure of the guidance I was receiving. I ultimately left with the brand she initially recommended, based on her medical advice. When I returned to pick up my contacts, the front desk staff was again passive-aggressive. The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming--staff members simply stared as I walked in, as if I wasn't supposed to be there. The office no longer feels warm or inviting and has lost the family-like hospitality it once had. My mother also recently visited and had a very similar experience. Sadly, after years of loyalty, they've lost two long-time patients because of these interactions. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. Best of luck moving forward.
