Ron was compassionate, sympathetic, and professional. He talked in plain English with me about the nature of the types of viruses and trojans that compromised my father's PC. He set up an Admin account for me and a User sign in for my father to prevent unwanted software from being installed and made further security suggestions. Ron even offered to print out a detailed receipt for my father to give to his bank to certify a professional cleaned the PC. I wouldn't hesitate to use Everything Computers again. In addition to providing a new hard drive at a price that was very reasonable, all date was moved fro the old hard drive to the new one for a seamless install. I was very happy with thei work, the quality, the communication, and the prices. If i have any tech issues these are people i would turn to.

Not only were they professional, they were quick, informative, and retrieved all of my graduate work from a busted flash drive. They VERY CLEARLY explained the risks of attempting data recovery and the unlikelihood of retrieving all of my data from a broke usb drive. Luckily, I was able to get all of my data back. But, unlike other data recovery companies, they separate the charges for diagnosis and retrieval. That way, if you can't actually get any of your data back, it only costs $50 for the diagnosis. I was worried I screwed up my sons 2015 MBP MacBook Pro…read more I figured I could tackle a seemingly simple SSD upgrade from stock Apple 128 GB to new superfast Samsung 970 EVO 1 TB SSD (on sale now amazon $169) I thought I was pulling the power cable, but yanked the wrong connector instead by mistake. It took me hours to figure out what it was , iFixit has a lot of videos which were helpful to educate me and identify that it was in fact the tiny ribbon cables connecting the keyboard to the main logic board. There's a trick to getting it re-seated, a little "eyelash" clip that opens and closes. I just tried stuffing it in there and smushed it. Got it to boot but some keys didn't work, backspace, space, shift, right side numbers and letters, symbols. Well, I called Simply Mac and they said it could be cheap, like if just trackpad cable, only $170 (only??), but if keyboard ribbon more costly bc that's not separate, and attached to keyboard itself, so that would need replacement, as part of bottom shell for $659 !! Dang I really screwed this up. I called That Computer Chick in Kennesaw, a small independent one-off shop. Kimberly affirmed my suspicion, the tight keyboard connector might not be seated properly. I ran it up to her shop in Kennesaw. She fixed it in 5 minutes flat, even showing me the trick and how touchy those micro-ribbon cables can be. whew That Computer Chick Kimberly really saved my butt. So incredibly thankful ‍. I learned she fixes phones and other electronics. They've earned my trust, I will gladly shop there again !
