I hired Foojee when I was with two previous companies. How much of a better recommendation can you give than repeat business? I have been delighted by the customer service, responsive phone calls, understanding of my business needs and the ability to work with the budgets I had at both my previous start-up companies. They were hard working business vendors... scratch that... partners in our success. Foojee specializes in helping companies that have a good number of Mac or iOS devices. They provide IT support, repair services, software training and assistance with all things involving Apple products. They are especially helpful in iOS rollouts to sales teams that may otherwise use the Windows platform. I can't say enough nice things about Foojee and Lucas Acosta, the owner. If given the opportunity I would hire them again. read more

Have to agree with John G. except I AM a business customer and considering taking my business elsewhere. We have been in need of finalizing a server migration for over a year. Our support staff has been unresponsive and lackluster at best. My company has been without WiFi for sometime and their speed to resolve my issues has lagged to non-existent. Not a very satisfied customer. read more

I found foojee thru the apple store. Went to their recommended home service pros. Looked at others but liked what I heard about foojee. Called, made appointment. Justin arrived and did a great job! He had a great attitude and listened first and then went to work. He fixed every problem we had and had insightful ideas for the future. I personally prefer when a pro comes to our home as opposed to going to a clinic. Justin was very professional and courteous. I highly recommend him and foojee. I am as demanding of a customer as there is, and both customer service and efficiency are paramount to me. Foojee rates extremely high on both of these.I have worked with Lucas and Foojee for over 3 years, both for personal issues and for my business. I consider myself knowledgable about computers and Mac, and have found Foojee's level of service and commitment to teaching outstanding. On a personal level, Lucas has been instrumental in providing me with a basic knowledge level and helping me to "reach the next level" in being able to trouble shoot my own issues. From a corporate perspective, Foojee has helped my transition form an all PC office to using Macs for my business needs. From someone who sets the bar on service very high, I would easily give Foojee a ten if the rating scale allowed. read more

Lucas was referred by a friend and he came into our house and corrected everything that another company could not...he worked until it was right. He is very patient and helps me with computers, iphone...takes me through the steps until complete and very patient with all the questions and uncertainty about what to do, whether in person or on the phone. I can call, text or email and is not hard to reach and he , himself returns call !! read more

History

Established in 2008.

Before starting Foojee, the two co-founders of Foojee worked together at Apple. Lucas Acosta served as a Lead Trainer hosting workshops and individual training in the Atlanta market, and Gene Carbonell as the Atlanta Market Trainer for new employees. They both decided they wanted to bring the Apple Store experience outside of the Apple Store and began Foojee. Three years later, Lucas Acosta leads the company as Foojee continues to change how onsite IT service is done. While Foojee has a blast helping consumers setup their Apple gadgets, they also love the challenge of helping small to mid-size business use Macs, iPads and iPhones in their daily operations. The name Foojee came from the co-founders' favorite type of apple. They wanted a brand that would represent their focus on Apple technology, while still bringing an element of humanness in the IT industry.

Meet the Business Owner: Lucas A.

Lucas began his formal Apple-centric career in Apple Retail. By the time of his departure in 2008, he was a Lead Trainer in the Atlanta market responsible for cultivating training talent within Apple Retail. During this time he also facilitated workshops including "Apple Camp" and "Youth Workshops" for 8-14 year old children, which focused on expressing creativity through Apple's iLife applications. Lucas has spent his last 3 years building his company, Foojee, which has brought him into various Apple-related projects ranging from SMB Mac and iPad deployments to K-12 institutional consulting and training. Although he considers himself a "geek" on all accounts, his true passion finding success in others that he works with. Lucas recently celebrated his 1 year anniversary with his wife, Cristina, and lives in Midtown Atlanta.
