I had spoken with Greg, who's professional and knowledgeable approach to technology caught my attention. Then, on the day of my appt, I spoken with Sherri, who was so sweet and personable. Unfortunately, the reason why they could not fix my son's laptop, was due to the fact that the warranty it was under had it's own company who worked on it ( I didn't find that out until Greg was able to unlock it and notify me right away). He even got me ALL the info I needed to get it to where it needed to go, along with a free shipping label! Talk about customer service!! Instead, the whole process has been very impersonal, like dealing with some no-name large company, not a locally run company. Despite asking for an experienced technician to call to help with the computer issue (Chrome throwing up an error message several times a day) a young-sounding man called who despite knowing what the problem was in advance, had done nothing to prepare for the call. He didn't have any ideas regarding how to correct the issue I was experiencing with the Chrome browser. He checked a few things that I had checked a million times. This was a complete waste of money and I still haven't received an invoice from the company, but today I received a harassing text from some company called SquareUp threatening to turn the bill over to collections if they don't receive payment. Have no idea if it's regarding the non-work done by Roswell Computer or not since I'm still waiting for an invoice from them. When I looked up the number, it's from a place called Atlanta Repair Computer Service and NOT from Roswell Computer Repair, so have no idea if it's even the same company. Update: Talked with Roswell Computer Company today and they claimed to have emailed an invoice and stated my email correctly. However, when the representative started spelling out the email, he stopped and said that they had a typo in the email address and that's why I hadn't received it. He corrected their typo and the email arrived shortly aftward. Avoid this company! They do not have experienced technicians contact you even when you specifically ask for that. They waste your time doing some of the things you've already done. Matt Karls, the friendly face on the website, will not be calling you or coming to your home to help with your computer.

He is very opinionated and doesn't pay attention to the customers needs, but rather tries to force his way of working and preferences on me. I have never been able to get Outlook to work correctly for contacts, mail and calendar to sync with my phone because he prefers Google and set it up that way. I don't think he knew what he was doing with Outlook, so just wouldn't do it, but wouldn't tell me he couldn't do Outlook.
