Can't say I've had tons of experience at packing stores. That said Pack and Post has been superb to me each of the times I've gone. Just recently did a move and they were super helpful. Will is pretty friendly. If you are there you should ask for him, he's pretty knowledgable on international packing and shipping. read more

This store is not affiliated with UPS in any way. They are not able to help with any Amazon Prime or UPS returns. They were not helpful and with the amount of business that I'm sure walks into their store you would think they would have it posted someplace that they are not affiliated with UPS and therefore cannot return any Amazon Prime items Yuri it would have been nice before I spent 20 minutes in line to have read a sign stating the fact. I needed to ship 2 large boxes today, and decided to skip the always unpleasant USPS (seriously, on par w/ DMV). I could not have had a better experience. Both employees I had contact with were great, super knowledgable, and very helpful. I asked a ton of questions and they answered like pros. The staff here goes out of their way to make sure you not only get the fastest way to ship packages but also the least expensive. We have had a private mailbox here for the past year and half and a day doesn't go by without a friendly greeting from the folks who work here. George is the BEST!!!! He saved the day!!! I took my sisters and mom on a trip up to Solvang last weekend and on the way home we decided to stop at Cold Springs Tavern (which is amazing, by the way) to have lunch before hitting the road for a 3-5 hour drive back home. We took lots of photos there before heading out. We made it back to my house 4 1/2 hours later only to discover that I had left my beloved DSLR camera behind at the tavern with my camera bag full of equipment, and the SD cards with all of the photos from our trip!! While I started having a panic attack/meltdown, my sister looked up places in Santa Barbara that might be able to go pick it up and ship it back to me so I didn't have to spend a day driving up to get it. She called Santa Barbara Pack and Post and spoke to George about it. He was so kind and understanding and said that he could absolutely go pick it up and ship it back. George went above and beyond to help me out. He drove up the mountain to the tavern (a 25min drive) and back and then packed up my camera carefully and professionally, treating it like it was his own. George and the gentleman at pack and post are truly wonderful. They give you the old-fashioned service that is rare these days. I had 10 huge boxes of files to shred and they did it for about a third of the price of everywhere else and helped me unload them from the car. Also their services of shipping are excellent. I love the staff at Pack and post the customer service is outstanding, the are funny and quick wit and quick at getting your needs met.. They also provide notery services by Will who is fantastic and is kind of a human encyclopedia.. Who I would never want to debate but I'm glad to know him if someone wishes to debate me. Ive had a mail box there for almost 4 years now and stop there daily and have never had a bad experience they also have a copier for basic copies and go above and beyond there duties.. I had to go to kinkos during the holidays for a project and realized how I had taken them for granted noone there greeted me by name .. Every one hated there job and me it felt like .. Then I realized good customer severice just can't be faked .. I just don't want to be a person that uses yelp to trash places and forget when places are really good at what they do ...
