Lately the service has been less than mediocre - ordered drinks tonight waited 15 mins and nothing - we walked out - not fancy drinks - wine and beer. Food is good (expensive but good) service is poor! read more

Disappointing. The atmosphere is nice but the cheeseburger i had was not with 12.00. It was stated as being 1/2 lb but it was fresh out of a 1/4 box from wal-mart. Forgot to take a pic of it. Tonight was the 1st time my wife and I had ever eaten there so we were a little skeptical on our first visit . We ordered onion rings as an appetizer as the table next to us had some and they looked delicious. They were !!!! We both ordered French dip with a side of baked beans . I'm in my 70's and that's my favorite sandwich though most places you order them they are mediocre at best . The bun was fresh and light and flaky . The sandwich itself was stuffed with some of the best tasting roast beef and provolone cheese. By far it was the best French dip I've ever had in my life . I know for sure we will be regular customers!!!! Can't wait to stop in again !!! read more

Ordered $50 worth of crawfish from the truck. Absolutely no seasoning and sitting in what tasted like the water used to purge them. Paid extra for 1 half corn and 2 small potatoes and none of it was cooked. Complete waste of money. I would not waste your time or money. Came all the way from the galleria to see my buddy from school play a show! Jay Tee was in from Austin....drove up in rush hour. Got here, pretty cool little spot. Got a water from the bar, and went outside to talk to the band. Came in, and sat at a table next to I'm presuming managers. It's 8:15 on a Friday night. Had been at the table 20 mins with an empty water for that same amount of time. Not one person stopped to see if I needed anything. Mind you, the managers were looking at me the whole time...it probably wasn't the best time for them to be eating chicken fried steak and have boiled shrimp. He comes to me after seeing me sit here for said 20 mins and asks if I need anything. Mind you servers, busser, and hostesses looking at me. No, sorry, don't want to spend a dime in your establishment! Then the manager sent me a message on Facebook. I tried to respond after his response, and he childishly blocked me. His name is Mike Jones...not the rapper though! here is my response to him... Wouldn't be my uncle. Anyone that runs a "music venue" has more than one person that runs sound. Nope. Friday night at 6pm and they'd run out of the ingredients to one of their signature drinks. We sat outside because it was a nice night. We didn't realize that sitting outside meant no one checking on us, refilling our drinks. The tables were ALL dirty outside. Hadn't been bused, there was not a single busser assigned to the outside area. On a Friday night (?). We had to ask for water. Our waitress was completely unsupported and had to clean up tables as the customers waited. The front of the house continued sending people outside to sit when all the tables were occupied. I love supporting local businesses but this was embarrassing and I wouldn't treat oUt of town guests to a meal here. read more

Pacific Yard House is pretty good. Their beer selection is on point and they have a great waiting staff. They also have a Fireman's pizza that is delicious if you like spicy things. I also am extremely judgemental about restaurants and their ranch, they passed my test with flying colors. My only small complaint is that I am not a fan of the dressing on the crawfish. However the crawfish themselves are huge and pretty good! read more

We ate here a few weeks ago after church with the family. Wasn't very impressed. Took forever to get our drinks, and once we did we didn't get a refill till the waitress brought our check. It wasn't busy either! There was maybe 3 other small families in the whole restaurant. My kids ordered the chicken tenders and they were overcooked and covered in black pepper. They said it was to spicy to eat. My husband and I ordered the fried fish, which was also overcooked and tough. Wish it was better, because the atmosphere is really cool and they have a stage for a live band. I just don't think I'll be coming back. Main reason being that the drinks didn't get refilled till the end of our meal. Its hard to eat a whole meal without a drink. read more

Had dinner Wed. May 19th. Ordered the 15$ burger and asked for no bun. What I received was a dried clump of ground beef, with no condiments aside from the pickle spear laid in the plate. I love this place. I dream about their ribs, now I have a new crutch...their baked beans. O M G, are they good! Hubby had a philly cheesesteak sandwich and my fries, which is fine because I was way too busy with the ribs and beans. Never had the crawfish, missed 'em but I can comment on the ribs, fish 'n chips, salads, pork rinds (most flavors), boudin balls, queso, chicken fried steak, and a few others (its been 3 years I have been frequenting this establishment), its the ribs that haunt me the most. After a few weeks on a diet we were craving some early season crawfish and choose the Yard house to partake. We ordered 4 pounds and then another 2 pounds and both batches were cooked to perfection. Unorganized front staff. They lost reservations, had no order to seating first one people and were quite rude and condescending.

In town and decided to try this place. If first impressions were correct I would have turned around and walked out. The hostess (if you want to call her that) was seated with her sweatshirt on backwards. Her hair literally covered her eyes and she refused to acknowledge us when we walked up. She had to ask how many even though it was obvious the 3 of us were wanting a table. She disappeared to the back for awhile, came back and seated us. I thanked her to which I received no response and my wife got a dirty look for no reason. Our waitress Katie however was sweet and attentive. Food was really good and beer was cold. My suggestion is if you have somebody up front make sure they have a personality otherwise you are bound to lose business. Came here while they were having an event so it was very busy like always on a saturday night. I heard great things about their smoked wings and crawfish so i decided to try them out. Food was fantastic and the level of service i got from the waitress was just right compared to how busy they were. The issue was first getting in to the restaurant the hostess or event coordinator (it was an 80s night event) Did not make me feel welcomed instead made me feel like a nuisance for even walking in. I understand there was an event going on so i asked if me and my cousin could sit outside away from the event when i suggested this the hostess seemed confused or annoyed with the suggestion to avoid anymore hassle i just payed for the entry but this is not a good way to leave a first impression. read more

This restaurant is great if you like great atmosphere and great food. Best live music venue around and the acoustics to go with it. The menu is great, tried the fries, ribs, smoked chicken sandwich, chicken salad, and the wings were amazing, lightly breaded after they are smoked. Good for parties and awesome service. We dropped in to Pacific Yard House on a Saturday night with a party of 5 and did not have to wait. We sat on the high top tables near the bar. We ordered a few apps and I ordered the glazed salmon dish. The food was delicious and the place had good vibes. They were setting up for a band to play and the place was filling up before we were leaving. I definitely think this is would be a fun place to hangout at even after dinner. read more

Layout is great-something for everyone-dancing, talking with friends, watching sports on their large screens, hanging out at their huge bar, or outside on their large patio, watching the train go right by the building! Our favorite bands play here: Johnny and the Spinsations and The Fab Five among them. They also have local favorites and country. New Years Eve was very disappointing. $60 pp to get in and nothing for it but a few items on the table. I was told after we got there, they had appetizers setup only til 7:30. (We didn't know about this when we purchased our tickets online - nothing said about it) Show didn't start til 9:00. So if you walked in after 7:30 - nothing! Manager came over and seemed tiffed, offered a menu appetizer and never brought it. Tried to order off menu and waitress said kitchen was closed. Then finally said we could get pizza. Staff was not very on it or friendly at all. Love the band! read more

This place smells. Literally. I've been here a few times for lunch and shows and didn't have this issue. However, I planned to have dinner here 2 weeks ago, and my gf and I immediately had to turn around and walk out because it smelled like sewage. I tried again today, assuming the issue would have been addressed, but again had to turn around and find another spot due to the terrible smell that hits you the second you walk in. Great warehouse vibe with exposed brick. They have live music which is what attracted us to this place. We had dinner before the music including cajun pasta, rueben, nachos, boudin balls, a salad and a kids meal. We didn't enjoy the food. It was pricey for the quality. Won't be back to eat but would go back for drinks and music. read more

They continue to overcook, the mudbugs, the salmon, even the fries were burnt, nice bar, but don't eat this burned stuff at those prices!
