Walked in on a Wednesday with a party of 5. No reservation needed, two small tables with families and a few people at the bar area. The food was decent, definitely NOT Hawaiian.

Our server to wonderful care of us. There's plenty of seating inside as well as at the bar. I love the ambience of the building as well. The food was amazing and had so much flavor. I hope to come back during my visit to Tilamook. I got the tri tip and shrimp, the chimichuri on the steak tasted super cilantro-y, which I absolutely loved. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and so were my sides. Extremely pleased with my visit here.

Husband really liked the fish and chips, very crisp and well seasoned. Shrimp scampi was cooked well but very very buttery. It was overpowering and had no other flavor notes. The decor was different, it didn't really feel like it flowed or made sense with the food genre. Staff was nice and efficient.

Absolutely wonderful happy hour. The fish and chips were tasty. Tempura was light and not greasy. The asparagus, beet, spinach salad is in a class of its own- top notch all the way. Partner had hamburger that not only was fabulous but an incredible deal. Get there a little before 5 (when it opens) to get a spot. Wait staff friendly, attentive, and kind. Great place!

One of the strangest restaurants I've ever been to. To start I want to say- the service was great. Our waitress was the server, hostess, bartender and was all on her own! I could tell she was working so hard as they are most likely short staffed. The food was OK but everything else was just... strange? The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. The decorations are all over the place, the menu is a little scattered and there was so music or sound. It's a large place and only half was being used so it echoed quite a bit. I really hate giving local places a sub par review. I hope they can regroup and make a few improvements!

    Halibut & Chips- huge portion

Interesting place! Quite a space for sure, we both had the fish and chips (halibut & chips) huge portions - we could have split to be honest we both were so full. Food was very good. I have to say I'm left wanting to adjust the space a bit- it's so cool, industrial, but rustic vibe but then there are easily 50 white and blue paper lanterns in the ceiling. Those confused me a bit. Massive bar space- very cool. Bathroom super weird- if you have been here then you know what I'm talking about. Finishing on the positive - our waitress Joy, was awesome- so nice, friendly and attentive.

My family and I were in town on vacation and were looking for some seafood. After a little bit of…read moreYelp research, we decided on The Fish Peddler. I'm almost a little sad that we picked this place first, because I don't know that any other place we eat at is going to be as good or better. This is a combination restaurant / fish counter. Don't let that discourage you from eating there. When we walked in, there was one table left. Always a good sign when a place is busy, especially during the off season. There's generally a reason why the other places are empty. In addition, there was no smell from the fish counter. A sign that everything is fresh. Honest, you really don't even notice there is a counter there once you sit down. We went with a half-dozen oysters on the half shell, Dominic's Fish and Chips, which is the fresh local catch of the day. Today it happened to be Rockfish, always one of my favorites, the Shrimp and Chips, and The Cioppino, which is a seafood stew. This has clams, mussels, fish, prawns, and crab in a tomato sauce. There's a decent selection of beer as well. First, I want to say these were some of the best oysters I've had, fresh out of Willapa Bay. We should have ordered a dozen or two. These came with some lemon and fresh horseradish. Try the horseradish! The oysters tasted great with nothing on them or with a little fresh horseradish. The fish was fried perfectly, golden brown, not oily, and not overcooked. You can easily tell this was fresh Rockfish. The shrimp were fried perfectly as well. The Cioppino was amazing! Again, all the seafood was prepared perfectly. But it was the flavor of the stew that really stood out. This is a dish not to be overlooked and tastes great on a cold day. The food here is outstanding! Though this is a combination market / restaurant, the atmosphere felt comfortable and inviting. The service was great as well. Everyone here was friendly. If you're looking for some great fresh seafood, the Fish Peddler is a must eat and there are plenty of items on the menu that can bring you back multiple times. Honestly, I hope we come back here before we leave town.

We started out by taking the self guided tour of the cheese process, then we went to sample - they had five types of cheeses for us to try. Here's my ranking in order of favorite 1. Truffle white cheddar 2. Smoked black pepper 3. Med cheddar, sharp white cheddar, mozzarella all equal They also had orange cream ice cream to try which was very good. Then we stopped in another section to learn about the farm and milking the cows and the types of cows they have. We made our way through the timeline then headed to the cafeteria area to try some of their food. We ordered the burger and subbed fried cheese curds with all the sauces (ranch, chili ranch, and bbq) and the mac n cheese. The food was just okay tbh. We were going to get some ice cream which I'm sure would've been great but were too full after our meal and cheese samplings. Lastly we stopped at the gift shop. Lots of cute items.

Service moved very quickly especially for the amount of people there. The gift shop is really fun and you can take home some really great cheeses. If you are coming from out of town I recommend coming early in your trip so you can bring some home, tragically none of us could buy the rarer cheeses due to flights the next day. One thing I would have loved more of was more information/experiences in the cheese making process included in the free self-guided tour, it focuses more on packaging. I love to see machinery and the actual 'how it's made', but unfortunately didn't have time for the paid tour. Overall though, fun place and worth a stop! P.S. pro-tip: they DO have lactaid in the gift shop.

He came across as though he genuinely disliked his job, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Because of this, my husband and I decided not to order anything and chose to leave instead. The overall vibe made it difficult to enjoy our visit. Needless to say, we won't be returning to this location.
