Stopped in at this cute diner for an afternoon snack and it didn't disappoint!! The service was great and the prices were reasonable. Super cute diner style decor and the food was delicious. They do happy hour on shakes (chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry) starting at 4pm! The shake pictured is a chocolate peanut butter. Delicious!!!

Love love love!! Went here twice during my stay in tillamook for my friends wedding and it was amaziiinnngg. I got the big cheese the first time and the Swiss & Mushroom the second time, they were both great! Service was amazing, super friendly staff, and the ambiance is to die for. Everything fits the theme perfectly and it's super cute! If you're in town definitely stop by!

    Awesome atmosphere!

When you walk in, they hand you menus and you get to pick where you sit. From there, you then have to go back and order your food and pay at the counter. Then you wait for your food. I find that weird but not the end of the world. They were so sweet and kind and upbeat, even though we came in Valentine's Day. We had two milkshakes, mine was apple pie and I freaking LOVED it. Then we both got the big cheese burgers (fried Mac n cheese on top.) it was phenomenal. However, come hungry. I could barely make a dent in it. It was also incredibly messy but that made our date more fun‍ The main reason I wanted to come was to get a good old fashioned milkshake (they give extra in the tins which is like a whole other milkshake.) and for the atmosphere. Not a single square inch of this place isn't decorated. It's clean, I LOVE the music to go with the decor. It's like stepping into another world entirely. Awesome spot.

Came in for lunch mid-week around noon. Immediately greeted after walking in and given instructions on where to order and who will seat you. Service is friendly, accommodating and attentive. The atmosphere inside is definitely diner. There's a lot of cool nostalgic decor. We ended up ordering two Twist sandwiches, one with onion rings, the other with tator tots. They charge $.50 for a side of ranch. You don't really need it though, since they serve their homemade fry sauce in the condiment caddy at your table. The onion rings and tator tots are an extra $1.75, if you upgrade from crinkle fries. We also ordered a vanilla malt milkshake to share. They only have one size shake, 16oz. The milkshake was super yummy! The sandwiches were good, but I'll definitely be back to try their burgers. The staff is very friendly and check on you often to make sure everything is good. Once you've been seated, they do wait on you at your table. Ordering at the counter is a little misleading when tipping. We ended up leaving a tip on the table at the end of our meal. Overall a nice first time experience. We'll be back.

The place was cute but a guy that works there was really rude and had a bad attitude the whole time. Another lady that wotked here was super nice! The food was mediocre, we got fish + chips and they tasted okay but made me nauseous after. Dr Pepper was delicious but that's about it. Not sure if I would come back.

We had a run in with the manager after we asked for a refund after the 2nd ride ate our quarters. I actually only asked because it was the kids last ride and the last of the quarters. I did not want them to have to leave on a sad note. We spent over $200 in this restaurant supporting a small business. We won't be back due to this man's nasty attitude. He came in and proceeded to explain to us that the rides take 2 quarters each. Like we hadn't been back there putting money in them for an hour already. Just plain rude. The young ladies running the counter and serving were very sweet.

We got the TWIST, a blt and grilled cheese combo that was actually a pretty good combination. The fries were krinkle cut so frozen but were hot and seasoned nicely and the onion rings also from frozen were good and came with blue cheese dressing for dipping, Nice! The decor was straight up 50's diner with pictures of muscle cars on the walls and various auto themed decorations throughout. There's some kid style entertainment in the back like stuff you would find in a park old fashioned riding toys etc. On the receipt it says Terry Phillips not windmill so maybe windmill is an old name? Anyway you slice it though the food was good, the 50's music playing was fun and we will definitely be coming back.

I do not usually post, but if it's bad experience then I don't want anyone else to endure it. We were here to help support the local community business in Tillamook since I just live in Portland. We stayed one night at the Tillimook Inn. We were here for the Rockaway Beach Kite festival with all my family. First, we arrived for breakfast to put my name at the counter. They said it would be long wait. OK, tell me how long or do I just guess how long and how to run your operations to understand the wait period. So I had to ask, 15, 30 minutes an hour then I finally get a response. OK, no buzzer or phone number to collect for when table is ready so I told them...I'LL BE IN YOUR CAFE WAITING. 30 minutes go by, 45 minutes go by then I went back to find my name had been ERASED from their prehistoric white board they use to take down names. I asked what happened when I saw tons of groups being sat before me when I'm pretty sure I was there first. Some nasty woman with tye dye(all the same uniform) said YOU CAN TAKE A SEAT AND WAIT OR LEAVE AND YOU CAN STOP YELLING AT ME. What a terrible thing to say for Tillamoon hospitality. I just asked why my name was erased and how longer for a table to be ready. Believe me, I'm 55 years old, if I was yelling....you'd know and I'd be making a scene. We finally get table 10 minutes later. Ordered...then another 30 minutes for subpar food. I didn't post any photos since I forgot with calming my kids and family since.they were so hungry. The host and nasty woman should be counseled and disciplined, not terminated since I'm sure she's not fit for any other small town jobs. We're on our way to Rockaway hoping for a better coast experience.

The Tillamook creamery has been going on for well over 100 years. It's a co-op of the local farmers, and they make amazing cheese with their high-quality dairy milk. The place is very busy, especially during the summertime, but there is lots and lots of parking for Cars, campers, buses motorhomes, etc. If you have an EV, they even have Tesla superchargers out in the overflow parking lot. The place is great. You go upstairs, and you get the factory tour. You don't actually get to go into the factory, but you see everything that is happening through the big picture windows. It covers the entire cheese making process. They also have lots and lots of samples available. They have a restaurant/snack bar, they have ice cream, they have gifts, and did I mention the cheese? Any type of cheese you're looking for, they probably have. The prices are reasonable, although some items are definitely higher priced. I got some of the cheese curds, which I love, I bought the single serve black pepper, Monterey Jack, which I had had before, and I loved. I also got a truffle Monterey Jack that is amazingly creamy, and earthy. For my sister, I got her the 10 year Monterey Jack. At 20 bucks for 8 ounces, definitely not cheap, but she really enjoyed it. She said it was extremely tangy and tasty. A bit too pricey for an everyday cheese, but well worth it for a special treat. For everything that they have, they also have a military/veterans discount. I've stopped here before, and I will definitely stop here again. Thank you.

I was hoping we'd also get to see how their ice cream is made, but that's offered separately through one of their paid experiences. There's lots of merch, unique cheese flavors and other food products to browse. We also had ice cream and shakes which were of course, delicious. Unfortunately, some of the customer service really brought the experience down. Our gift shop cashier seemed visibly annoyed and after we declined a bag, he basically slid our stuff across the counter toward us like air hockey. The employees at the free ice cream samples were also rude. one employee was shouting at visitors who didn't realize the line had closed, while the servers rolled their eyes and laughed about it. Overall, I wouldn't make a trip out here solely for the Creamery. It's better as a fun stop if you're already in the area, want lunch or ice cream, or want to pick up some of their harder-to-find cheese products.
