They have a shop with cheese, wine, ice cream, snack options and lots of other items. There is also an area outside where you can sit and enjoy your food. They have animals on the property and we purchased some feed for them inside the shop. It's only $1 a bag so we bought lots and headed out to meet them. I loved spending time with the animals but they were not at all interested in the feed. We happened to be eating a sandwich and they were much more interested in that. They have a wide range of animals, from sheep to alpacas and donkeys and ducks and chickens and even peacocks. There's lots to see. That said, I can't really give them five stars because like a lot of the reviews mention, the state of some of the animals is concerning. As much as I enjoyed interacting with them, there were things about their care and surroundings that made me feel really sad. Something I did really appreciate though is that this location allows you to camp overnight in your RV or van for free. This is a huge perk when you're traveling through the area. Because we got here late in the afternoon. We did end up staying the night, but if you decide to take advantage of that be prepared for the bugs. There were so many bugs. There is plenty to see and do here and this place definitely has a lot going for it. If you're road tripping this is a good place to stop. You can get supplies, spend some time with the animals and have a safe place to spend the night.

The menu is extensive and the food is delicious. The portions are very amazing too. I tried the clam chowder and have to say it is one of the top chowders I have ever eaten and I have tried a lot of clam chowders. My wife had a French dip sandwich, they do not skimp on the beef. Pricing is very reasonable also. This is not fast food but quick service is definitely a priority here. Can't wait for our next trip to Tillamook to eat at Beef & Brews. I have gotten the breakfast burrito when having breakfast and would characterize it as large, yet underwhelming in taste. None of the beers that i have tried are particularly memorable, but they are very drinkable. The service is courteous and they strive to keep the tables clean. The ordering here is done at the counter and I have found this to be a great way of taking orders in a casual establishment. This allows one to peruse the menu at a table at one's own speed, then walk up to the counter to ask any questions about the menu and then place the order. My experiences have been that the employee at the register has always been patient, informative and respectful. They bring your order to your table when it is ready. My experience is that they give you a conservative estimate of the time for preparing and the real time has been shorter. Note that I think they do a good job with turnaround times given how many customers are in the restaurant combined with their apparent significant take-out business. My dinner experiences have been very satisfying and that is what one would expect from a meat purveyor. However, they do not fumble the ball on the execution. Casual food, but tasty. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating: plenty of both. Part of the outside seating is heated and covered during much of the year. I have never been there when you could not choose a table. I think a great casual stop, and a unique one, when visiting the Tillamook area.

We might've spent around 2 hours but that was including time in the gift shop and carefully reading each sign closely and watching what happens during each process. It's a cute little stand that you stand in line and grab and go. The gift shop has a ton of items for everyone, even various packs of cheese and cute stuffed cheese blocks. The cafe had your average grilled cheese/burgers, but we didn't end up eating there. The line was super long and the food didn't look worth it to me for the price point. We did end up getting a sampler of ice cream though, 3 flavors being strawberry, Marion berry, and cookies and cream, which were all really good. They were rich in flavor and creamy. We were lucky to find Christmas Blend whole beans in February as well! We requested them to be ground and the Employee happily obliged. This Safeway store was very clean, organized, and well-stocked. As you can see in pictures, we were impressed with their bacon selection, lol. I always try to buy local, so that's a plus. I also love their closed refrigeration aisles with glass doors, compared to open refrigeration. Consistent and efficient temperature control is key.

And you'll be very glad you stopped here when you see what some of those things cost closer to the beach. The gas station lines can get long, but they tend to move quickly, and the prices are usually great. Plus: BATHROOMS! Woo hoo! Extremely important when you've got a kiddo in the car and you're nearing the end of a long drive. Basically, this is our gas + groceries + bathroom + "what did we forget?" stop before heading the rest of the way to the coast.

On top of accusing my son after his short visit, went in to buy two bags if ice for 4.50, gave the employee a 20. Bill , she didn't look at the bill nor finish the transaction before putting in her till. She took it as a 5. bill. After 3 or 4 times politely correcting her , she refused to realize she was wrong. Customer service and counting change is a basic common sense practice and a courtesy to the patrons. They wanted to wait until midnight to do their books and mail him his change. I'm sorry I wouldn't have agreed to that especially if I knew for certain what bill I handed over. Yes, my son was upset and demanded the correction. It was all on camera, it took two police officers, which my son was happy to stay while they called. After reviewing it did show he gave the 20, not a 5. Before all of that the employee accused him "you must do this a lot". Wow... The customer is always right..... I hope she's being re-trained or better yet let go. She obviously dosent like her job. It's the " owners" responsibility to have friendly customer service. It would not have cost the store anything if the employee did her job, we'll never set foot there, now that cost them..... There are a lot if nice little stores in the area and friendly when you walk in.
