Irritatingly slow service. "Pizza by the slice" is pretty much a joke when it takes 20 minutes (no exaggeration) to get a one-topping slice! The pizza was OK but not really worth the wait. Could have ordered a full pizza for delivery from a chain and gotten it faster than their takeout. read more

We were so excited to try something new to celebrate my dad's birthday. I went on the website and e-mailed in our reservations. When we showed up (all 14 of us) they looked shocked and didn't even know you could do e-mail reservations. That should have been the first clue. Even though there were only 2 people working there on a Sunday evening, it took over 20 minutes to even get our drink orders taken and filled. After another 20 minutes + we were told we could put in appetizer orders because they were out of dough (at a pizza place, no less). Our table ordered 4 appetizers. 2 came after 30 minutes, 1 more 15 minutes later and the last 1 15 minutes after that. Orders were placed and after another 1/2 hour, we were told they were out of red sauce so half of us had to reorder. Keep in mind when we showed up, there were probably only 6 or 8 other patrons (3-4 tables) in use. During our 2 1/2 hour visit, there were several other groups that came and went with food. I do feel bad that the reservation system they have set up on-line doesn't work and they didn't have good notice that a group that large was coming in. And, the waiter did comp us the majority of our meal, but for 14 people to go away hungry and exhausted from the wait - I say take your business elsewhere. The potential is there, because the appetizers that we got to try were tasty, but the execution is embarrassing. read more

Saturday Trivia is some rinky dink guy that thinks he is the man, but acts like a 13 y/o and says the F word in every sentence. Gets his non-proofread trivia straight off the web that contains stupid & bizarre questions with inaccurate answers. Can't understand a word he is saying through his mic that's turned up all the way so its pure distortion. Seriously sounded like a little karaoke machine. The TWO servers working that night appeared stoned and didn't care that it was a complete record full house. I ended up going to the bar to order so it would be quicker, but the bartender was also running around taking orders. They have A bathroom that is unisex, so many male patrons just went outside. Overall need to staff up, put in another bathroom and FIRE the dip**** trivia guy. read more

I chose this place because it had a Groupon and it was close to where I was staying. It was easy to find and there was no trouble finding parking. Upon entering there were available tables and they were clean :). Since I was meeting a friend I haven't seen in forever we talked for a long time! The waitress continued to check on us, kept the water full and made sure our meal choices could be gluten free. I did receive a little attitude from the waitress when I asked about the flavor of some red beer? Uh, it is a red, was all she replied. Er, thanks? I ordered it, it was good. For pizza we had the thai chicken and bbq chicken and the goat cheese bread all on gluten free crust. I am not a glu-tard, so having that kind of crust was a new experience and I was pleasantly surprised. Tasty crispy and not tough. Thai was perfectly spicy, bbq chicken sweet and tangy and the goat cheese bread was good. Prices were reasonable, music was not too loud or offensive, service was quick without a smile and overall it was pretty clean. I would return again and hope the waitress was happier and more educated or excited to talk about the beer selection. read more

Great service food and beer they really appreciate their customers unlike some other pizza places in town

We ordered 2 pizzas, one was forgotten .They got to our table...the Tuscan was really good, the BBQ chicken was forgettable...overcooked ( from reheating)...we sat for an hour after we ordered. The people next to us ordered maybe 2 minutes before us...they ate and left 15 minutes before we got our pizza....the Greek salad was good...after 30 minutes of waiting we asked when will we get the salad....we were told when they get around to it...wow....I Don t think I will be getting around to go back. read more

I showed up there yesterday, early evening, with my family. There was a small outdoor music festival going on next to the restaurant. The restaurant was largely empty and we asked for a table of 5. We were told they could seat us but that a 2 $ additional surcharge per person would apply. Disappointing, but we agreed. We were then told that we could only order slices of pizza (not whole pies). We understood that these conditions were due to the restaurant's desire to capitalize on the small music festival and told them "no thanks, we'll go somewhere else where there's no festival." We were then snidely told "everywhere there's a party today". The clear message was that they were upset with us for deciding we didn't want to eat there under those conditions. There was no call for this rude reply. I did not get to try the pizza, but would never consider trying it after that. read more

The pizza was awesome. Their quality of ingredients is awesome. The cheese they use is perfect. The thin crust is just right not to crispy and not to flimsy and it doesn't have a yeasty taste. The balsamic on their cheese is awesome. The waitress kept on drinks full and checked in often. We will be back. read more

The pizza here I found to be really delicious. They have cool posters on the walls and trivial pursuit cards to pass the time while you wait for them to make your pizza. A great place. read more

These guys are busy for a reason. The pizza is fantastic, and the beer and wine selection is great! I love the cordon bleu, and the cheesy breadsticks are a meal on their own. The service is good, without hovering or being bothersome. If you're that needy customer who can't flag down a waitress to order a beer, you may struggle. But if you're like me and don't mind waving at the bartender or server to place an order, you will find them to be prompt and attentive, read more

Screw this place. Seriously. I live down the street and have tried over and over to give it a chance. The pizzas are always wonderful, but the way down below average wait staff leave me regretting each second chance I give this place. Don't go here if you like refills, don't go here if you like ordering second drinks, don't go if you dislike being ignored for up to 30-60 minutes at a time. Or maybe hearing the server tell her friend, "This pizza was for another table but do you just want it? You can just have it for free". (Yeah that was MY pizza by the way..) Oh and the best part? Their hours are clearly posted but lately they've been closing 3-4 hours earlier than normal. I mean, who likes to eat dinner at 6 o'clock anyways, right? Time and time I go back, hoping the next time will be better. Each time, however, I sit contemplating walking out over and over again. Maybe if I grow a beard, sit at the bar and ask for a PBR, someone will give me the time of day. Screw it, seriously. read more

i loved the pizza! It is a cute charming little place in Brownes Addition. It is in my top 3 of all pizza places I have ate, both local and through out the country. I love the deep dish crust, it is great! read more

This place is delicious. I had two slices of pepperoni pizza, and it was ridiculously good. When I received my slices I really didn't expect anything special, but they were perfect. soooo gooooooooooodd. read more

Hey I must not learn my lesson very well. Last time it was trying to eat pizza outside and fight off all the smokers who hang out here on the porch breaking the smoking band and then have the owner ship not enforce it.as me and my children tried to eat and then the second time inside dealing with smoke clothed smelly people and bad service with attitude. Rolling of the eyes etc. Nice job sorry to put you out. This place keeps plugging along but I think it is a matter of time. Might think of cleaning the windows at least once a year. Won,t be back. Have a good smoke. read more

Pizza was delicious but we will never return because they have the worst service we have ever experienced. The waitress was rude and tried to tell us that our Groupon would not be accepted due to a fabricated reason. When I asked her to show me the fine print that would cause our Groupon to be rejected, she capitulated and accepted it very grudgingly. The waitress, never smiled, never checked on us, almost seemed annoyed that she had to serve us. read more

We had a reservation and still waited over an hour and a half for our pizzas. We ordered 4 and they came out in 15 minute increments. Our waiter was not friendly and never apologized or explained why we were waiting for so long. The pizza was okay and they had a good amount of options but the service was so terrible it wasn't worth it. read more

Great pizza place! Crust is the best in Spokane as is the pizza. We live 40 min from this pizza place and will drive there just to enjoy a good pizza. Service can be a little slow but not always. A must try! read more

My mom just had her sister's birthday party here and it was so great. The food is just what you'd want from a local pizza joint, with a little added pizzazz in the fancier topping choices. read more

Where do I start? I guess by saying that this was the only time in my life that I left NO TIP. We waited over 15 minutes for a server to come to our table and when none ever did, I went up to the bar to order. The place was by no means busy, by the way. We had heard good things about this place so we thought we'd see if the food was worth the non-existent service. Well - nope! Our drinks were served in big plastic Bud Light cups - way too much club soda for the paltry amount of whiskey - there are particular ratios to cocktail ingredients for a reason. We ordered a Margherita pizza, which consisted of pale, watery grocery store tomatoes and some dried green sprinkles that we assumed were the basil? This is NOT a Margherita so don't call it as such. We had to ask for utensils and napkins which weren't provided when the sullen hipster server plunked our pizza down on the table - really? We angrily finished our crappy drinks and meal and waited for someone to bring us the check...and waited... After 20 minutes I again went up to the bar and asked for the bill. Overpriced, horrible service. Never again. Running a pizza place is not rocket science - if the owner/manager actually reads this, please re-evaluate your priorities. read more

This is my favorite bar style pizza in Spokane. When I want something gourmet, I go to Flying Goat, but if you've ever been to Flying Goat, you know that place is always sooo crowded. Anyway, back to Pacific Ave. Pizza's great, we're vegetarians, and it's awesome getting fake pepperoni, I like to get it with real cheese. One time I got the vegan cheese, and it was still really good. The place has a real 90's feel to it, always has great music playing, 90's movies on the TV, comic books on the walls, stuff like that. It's small, only a handful of tables, but I've never not been able to get a seat. Great beer selection, everyone's friendly. Just walk in and sit where you want. Service is a little more relaxed, but not "slow", as other reviewers have complained, not as bad as other Spokane restaurants I've gone to. Certainly not keeping me from going. It's just a small establishment and there's usually just one waitress running the whole thing. Anyway, I love the place. read more
