A roped beer garden area is located in the front for those who prefer to be outside. Indoors is small with the potential of seating large parties if tables are combined. There are a couple TVs indoors. The craft beer selection is from local breweries. Brother's Office Pizzeria also offers a full bar. The food menu consists of a couple appetizers, salads, sandwiches and pizza. While looking over the menu, we each had an ice-cold pint of beer for $6.50 each. We shared the Combo Pizza (12") for $18.99: red sauce, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, red onion, black olives and mozzarella. The pizza was satisfying but nowhere near the best. Service was friendly and enthusiastic. Overall, we enjoyed our experience; however, Brother's did not impress me. The beer prices were fair but the pizza was expensive.

We live in the country near Sprague so Cheney is not too far for us so we often stop in here on our way home from Spokane because we know they always have the best food and a good selection of our favorite draft beer. My husband's favorites are pizza and beer and he knows how I love their sandwiches so we headed to the Barrelhouse. They have a nice outdoor area which we love in the warm months and with a 6 and 4 year old it's the best spot for us although their indoor seating is also great when it's cold outside. My daughter and I ordered house salads to start and as she said there is something delicious about their salads. For one they are big! They have fresh ingredients; lettuce, mushrooms, red onion and croutons etc. The only thing I can fault them for is they don't have my favorite dressing (honey mustard) but the red wine vinaigrette suits me as well. We also ordered the pizza bites which are covered in Parmesan and come with marinara and creamy garlic dips. I can't say enough about these bites and dips. I should have stopped there but I ordered my favorite sandwich which is the Hawaiian and my daughter had the pesto chicken sandwich. Both of these sandwiches are delicious. Seriously delicious. Husband ordered a pizza for himself and the kids (half cheese for them and half meat and veggies for him). He loves their pizza and he was smart enough not to indulge in the pizza bites so he had room. Service is always friendly. We love this place!

The pephouse with pineapple was popular among the kids. We got the Thai, which was very saucy and spicy, not the best but it tasted good. The meatball ricotta was yummy, but needed salt. The balsamic and Brussels is a pizza combo that I love but theirs was unfortunately a bust. Their dough is clearly not made in house so that was disappointing. But it was reasonable for the price. We came on a Wednesday so it was large for the price of a medium. Their Diet Coke was very bubbly. Salad bar was fresh.

I weight it out to be 1.1 oz that I less than the avocado that was on the salad. Being an 80s kid, we used to say 'bad', but it actually meant 'good'. "That haircut is so bad" was…read moreactually a compliment. To avoid confusion, 'bad' turned to 'rad' (short for radical). Goat used to be bad...if a kid was the goat on the team, he was the worst player. Now, goat has turned to 'Greatest of all time' due to the acronym G.O.A.T. So when we went to dine at The Flying Goat in Spokane, the question on my mind is...will it be 2000's GOAT, or 1980's goat? The interior was pretty small but a unique layout of tables. I liked the darkness of the restaurant and the darker wood they use for accents and the bar. They also have a larger patio that is adorned with space heaters, umbrellas, and a wooden shady overhang...so no matter the weather you may be able to enjoy your meal outdoors. They also have a private event building that can seat a party. Our server was attentive and helpful. We did get there right when they opened for lunch, but that doesn't always equate to good and special attention. We ordered two of their artisan pizzas for our table of 3. The 'Fairview' was a must order and a huge hit. It used a heavy cream base and a house cheese blend. The toppings were house back bacon, gorgonzola sprinkles and pears...yes pears, which made this sucker pop! We also ordered a Lacrosse pizza- olive oil, fresh mozz, red peppers, italian sausage, pecorino and basil. This pizza was really light but packed a flavor punch as well. They have many other specialty pizzas on their menu that also sound amazing, ranging from yellow curry based to ones with snap peas, fried eggs, carrots and more. If artisan pizzas aren't your jam, they have sandwiches, salads, stews and more. To answer my original question...this place is the 2000s Goat...or very close to GOAT. Not my favorite all-time pizza place, but definitely in contention! Thanks Flying Goat for an amazing lunch!

The outdoor seating/view is gorgeous, especially on a warm day. The only thing that threw me off a little was the logo/symbol. Aside from that, we really enjoyed everything and would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
