So I was looking up good vegan options for a place to go out in Spokane and stumbled upon Pacific Pizza. They seemed to have a great selection of vegan toppings: vegan cheese, vegan Canadian bacon, vegan pepperoni, etc. So we sat down and asked about the breadsticks if they were vegan. She said they were and asked if we wanted the regular or cheesy sticks. So we also asked if they could make cheesy sticks vegan. She said yes to that as well. We also ordered a Hawaiian pizza vegan style When we got our cheesy sticks we weren't sure if they were vegan because we didn't know what their vegan cheese looked like melted. But then we got our pizza and could tell the Canadian bacon was in fact real ham, and the cheese was real cheese. We pointed it out, and they happily remade our pizza with the vegan ingredients instead and refunded our pizza. But it took quite a while for us to get our pizza finally because of that. I think it's important for a restaurant that has vegan options on the menu to explain to its employees what vegan means exactly. The good: really cool place, great beers on tap, and when we got the right pizza it was pretty good. read more

I really like this place for kicking back and having a beer. But that is about all. The Main Problem with the pizza is that they use one of those dam chain driven ovens. I am sorry but that is not how you make a great pizza, period. Like someone else said, Buy A Dam Pizza Oven. read more

This place is awesome! On Tuesday it's only $2 for slices and pints of beer! That is the type of deal a poor law student loves. The pieces of pizza are huge! Two was plenty to fill me up. Their draft selections are legit too - I got No Li's Amber Ale and it was fabulous. It can get crowded on Tuesdays (obviously, everyone wants the awesome deal) but it also depends on what time you get there. Three friends and I got there around 6 and were able to snag a table in the back. The pizza is also legit! Thin crust New York style - the kind you have to fold to eat, my favorite! Be patient with the wait staff when it gets busy. And sometimes you may have to wait for the slices when they run out and have to throw a new pie into the oven. But I mean, then you get super fresh pizza, so it's a decent trade off to have to wait a bit. They also have a full bar as well. Check out this little gem in Browne's Addition. I will definitely be back. read more

Located in Browne's Addition, Pacific Ave Pizza is a charming little restaurant. First, they have a good selection of beer. From microbrews to domestic, they should have something you'll enjoy. For a pizza place they had a lot more food options that I would have expected. If you're not in the food for pizza they have a variety of sandwiches. I ordered the carnivore calzone which included pepperoni, sausage and canadian bacon. The calzone was gigantic. It was as large as a dinner plate. Normally I can eat a whole calzone but this time I had to take 1/4th of it home. The calzone wasn't loaded with grease and the ingredients were fresh. The service was good and my waitress was nice. The place has a good atmosphere and has a lot of outdoor seating which would be nice during the summer. Even if I wasn't hungry for pizza I would still come here for a drink. read more

I love the food but the service could use some work. It is also extremely loud in there making it difficult to enjoy yourself (unless your drunk like the other customers). read more

Pacific Pizza - Front door - Pizza Near Me - Spokane, Washington

There where 2 other families who looked fine and happy eating here so idk what the malfunction was when my wife and I walked in. Just to keep in short my family and i felt uneasy the 5 minutes we waited to be served? Or something I was waiting for some sort of communication from an employee. I had to ask if we should sit ourselves, no greeting. No customer service got a smile from a gal from the bar on our way out. Felt very un-welcomed. Good thing there's Pete's pizza. Pretty straight forward and familiar place to me. This is my second one star review... read more

Good pizza, not great, lousy bartenders, they are not friendly, they have zero food knowledge and do not seem to like to wait on people over 60. Last week the place smelled of cigarette smoke, ugh.. waitresses , not bartenders are way better. Whomever worked Thursday at noon, young brown hair? She was a horrible, rude bartender, does not seem to like waiting on anyone that is a senior citizen. sad Bartender knew nothing about beer, walked away from me 3x while i tried to order! They also do not seem to like waiting on families. The beer the last 2 times I have been there is nothing more than warm, horrible in a plastic bud light cup. She would not put it in a glass for me. When I asked , she did not respond. The worst beer I have ever had at any neighborhood bar anywhere. Warm, Warm, Warm, . My advice if you get pizza there. Take it next door to Cafi Capria and order a drink there. Soda, ice coffee, desert. They are the best servers. Not like Pacific Pizza. read more

Took us 5 mins to get a waiter, 7 mins to get our drinks, another 5 for our waiter to come back to take our order, didn't get food so I can't say anything that it's bad about it, waited for 10 mins to get out check and there wasn't enough people in the place for the lack of service. There was my group of 5, 2 people at another another table and 4 people at the "bar" Don't come here... read more

Excellent food, fresh and robust ingredients. awesome service make this a great place to visit. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. I totally enjoyed my visit and can't wait for next week's pizza day to get here. I will definitely return. read more

The pizza is good, the drinks are reasonably priced and the trivial pursuit on the tables is pretty outdated. The staff is laid back but effective enoughThis is a great little hipster gem for Spokane. The comic book theme is pretty cheesy and over done, but who doesn't like that with a pbr and a tasty but greasy pizza? read more

Great pizza, cocktails, and fun bartenders. Love seeing live music here and the neighborhood. 10/10 would recommend.

Best Pizza i have had in Spokane, I am from Brooklyn with roots in Italy so I take pizza serious. Loved the thin crust, great sauce not overpowering and great infusion of toppings, taking my parents and in-laws there tonight .for our second time. I would think the menu is vegetarion friendly just get a cheese pizza with veggies. Only down side was our waitress was not that friendly but the food made up for it. Just went there for our second time on Friday night Scott our waiter rocked, I mad reservations with him and he treated us great between my parents and in-laws and son there was 7 off us and the food was once again great, its a must try good selection on beers, enjoy. read more

Proudly born and raised in Spokane, and a huge fan of our local pizza parlors. Been a couple years since Ive been to Pacific Ave, i recommended it as a dinner spot for my girlfriend and I. Immediately regretted it. The bartender was rude, got my drink wrong, tossed my change at me like I was some peasant and ultimately made us feel very uncomfortable. We go out to the back patio to look at the menu and enjoy our drinks, but instead sat and listened to the patrons about how much they disliked Spokane locals. This was an absolute negative experience. Didnt even want to order food after the way we were treated. Wont ever be coming back. read more

Have not had service this bad in a while. Sat down and asked for a beer: the bartender looked at me like I was an alien. I know, strange that someone would sit at a bar and request the IPA on tap. In the time it took me to drink this beer, I observed the bartender play on her phone, play with her hair, and then go out for a smoke, all without offering a menu. Worst of all: she also DID NOT WASH HER HANDS. Not even when serving a slice to another patron. How is the pizza, you ask? I wouldn't know. I got the hell out of there fast. read more

Great little pub, enjoyed the people and atmosphere. The movie and comic book memorabilia is understated and nice. I had the BBQ Pizza and loved it, a medium was sufficient for me and my friend. I see myself coming back here read more

Slow and unenthusiastic service. Seemed annoyed we were there. A great meal would have made up for the disappointing customer service, but the food didn't impress either. read more

Positives: Lunch box collection display, menu in a comic book, very fresh toppings, locally owned, you're just really rooting for them. Cons: No pizza oven, the pizza conveyor really slows things down, bad service. Okay, I wanted to like this place, I realize the conveyor belt is just going to make things slow, but how can you excuse the surly service? Our waitress actually gave us the bill, and then walked out of the restaurant. How can you love a place that does you wrong like that? If I want to be treated like crap, I'll stay at home with my teenage children. Honestly, we didn't walk out mad, we walked out sad. read more

Wow...is all I can say and its not a good wow. Probably on par with the food and service you get from this place, so a very shitty wow to say the least. Went by on a slow weekend night to get a beer and a slice. I had a pale ale and my company had a Sam Adams, beers came out fast and we made our single slice orders of cheese pizza. The beers had no foam head and more carbonation bubbles than a 7up, I'm not a beer expert but that leads me to believe either the glasses had soap residue on them or the co2 is messed up. Anyways back to the food, cheese slices came out and they had sprinkled some kraft mozzarella on the tops then ran em back through the oven belt. Hmmm...no pizza ovens at a pizza place? Needless to say the cheese slices where crap, okay on to something else. We tried the pesto Stromboli which was great but it took 45minutes to make, cook and deliver to the table. Then our waitress advised us that she was leaving to go to the store but we could hang out or tab out. Tab out please with to go tin foil in hand. After clearing our table and packing up, I decided to walk up to the bar and pay the tab. Upon standing at the bar for almost 10 minutes in plain view of two other workers one of them says they'll be right with us. Another 10 minutes go by when I finally vocalize that I would like to give some money to them. A worker takes our tab then informs us that the waitress who left for the store is the only one who can close out our tab! WTF are you kidding me!? Long story short...avoid this place like the plague. Which is too bad seeing as we live 3 blocks from it. Rosaurers has better beer and Pizza Rita has much better pies. read more

Not the worst pizza. They have great rotating taps that circulate through. Sometimes the service is spotty, but they are very nice people.

Stopped in for a couple of beers after Art Fest. Appreciated one of the bartenders distracing Ronnie while we were on the patio admiring our latest acquisition. A very rare 'Planet of the Sock Monkeys' framed print. Had Manny's on tap and a Coconut Porter. Nice end to a nice day. read more

Came here to enjoy a few beers and a pizza with some friends after work on a Friday and was met with the worst service I (we've) ever had. Our server was some broad shouldered tattooed chick with short dark hair, seemed nice enough to "regular"looking patrons but was utterly rude and I swear I could smell cat faces and rotten fish emanating from her nether regions every time she got close to us, seriously. That's not a joke. Food was okay, wouldn't dare drink anything off the tap. Long story short: Came for pizza and beer, left feeling like I caught chlamydia and I didn't even get to take my pants off. I don't know where to get non-fast food pizza in Spokane anymore :\? read more

Pretty good pizza. Not stellar, but decent. Good salads too. But the service was SO. SLOW. The inside was completely empty and the front and back patios were fairly busy. It took almost an hour and a half to get our pizza... the weather was great, and we enjoyed hanging out on the patio. But they weren't super crowded, and it took way too long to get food.... read more

I like their pizza, my husband does not. He says it's the seasoning on the crust, but I like it, so maybe it is personal preference. I really enjoy all choices, their atmosphere, and location (lived in Browne's forever). Not my favorite pizza but still tasty and a nice change from delivery when I'm feeling crazy enough to walk the five minute walk to pick it up. Service is middle of the road. read more

A nice neighborhood pizza joint. A good, local alternative to the chain pizza places and they have a bar area as well as a patio areas in the back and front when the weather gets warmer. Great place to meet friends. read more

Me and wife and 5 year old came here after buying a croupon offer. The people hanging out steps away from the front door smoking at a area bus stop was a kinda a downer. The Place has a comic book theme thruout and calls itself a pizza place but had more of a bar feel (loud music and large bar area ) than i was comfortable with my 5 year old there but was told minors were ok.The pizza and customer service was very good even though he mssed up a extra cheese request i had placed. Would go again but this isn"t a kid friendly or family type establishment (minus the comic book themeof course) :). read more

Such a disappointment. Go here for some beers then pick up a papa murphys on your way home. We had the Chicago style deep dish, they shouldn't even offer this crust style. It was undercooked and doughy. A counter top conveyor pizza "oven"? I guess it's fine for a bar that also serves pizza on the side. read more

Awesome food, good beer, great ambience. Love the back patio. Service can be slow, but with a beer in your hand, who cares!

Pacific Pizza has great beer drafts...changed out occasionally, very decent pizza and most of the workers use gloves to spatula the pizza on your plate, which is nice to see. One worker did not, so that could be improved. This was the same worker who spent more time on her phone than doing anything else. Otherwise a great atmosphere, great food, great prices and they have a Tuesday special...$2.50 for pizza slices and $3.50 drafts all day. This place sits in the heart of Browne's Addition within the round-about. Nice hangout! Oh and they have ice cold Montucky beer, which you rarely see served anymore for $2 all day, every day! read more

Staff was very rude. I came in to watch the Mayweather fight recently with a group of friends for my girlfriends birthday. We ordered a half cheese half bbq chicken pizza and they said it would be about an hour wait due to high volume of people that night. We waited and watched the fight and almost 2 hours in, the fight is almost over but we still don't have our pizza. My girlfriend went and asked where it was and a lady working told her that they don't serve that pizza, they only have buffalo chicken. So since they don't have BBQ chicken pizza they just didn't make it, even though the guy who took our order rang us up for half bbq half cheese. She proceeded to raise her voice when we told her that we had ordered it a couple hours ago showing her the receipt and eventually we just asked for our money back. She started to get animated and wave her hands and said "we don't have to put up with this and you need to leave," which was confusing to us because they had messed up, not us. Then a manager came and offered the pizza for free and sincerely apologized. There was no excuse for the rude hostess. If they had said there was a misunderstanding and they will start the pizza, they wouldn't have even had to offer it for free due to the rude hostess and we wouldn't have been happy, but at least I wouldn't have felt the need to share this information. read more

First time here and in this cute little neighborhood. Friendly server. Great food!!! I had the wwjim sandwich and it was delicious!!

I was pleasantly surprised by Pacific Ave Pizza. I thought the pizza was amazing and the beer selection was great. My only complaint was that it was very busy and seemed understaffed, so the service wasn't great. Also, the buffalo pizza is SO SPICY. read more

I went on a recommendation of a friend. I won't be returning. I had toppings that were burnt badly, the cheese was plastered on there, but worst of all the crust was bland. If I had to guess I'd say the crust comes frozen to the restaurant pre shaped. There was no life to it or flavor, the crust is such a major part of a pizza I was very disappointed. The only perk was $2draft beer that night. read more

Pizza was really good, but only one person working behind the bar who was also the only server they had in the restaurant. I just find it very odd for a Saturday. Very poor service. We didn't even know that he was the only person here until we went up and asked to order. Not very pleased and from a customer service aspect it still deserves 2 stars. read more
