    20B. Veggie Noodle Soup
    Harmonie T.

My friend ended up here when the pho place that we originally wanted to go to was closed. This ended up being a much better option than what we had originally planned. Menu intrigues me because it has several veggie meats listed in the vegetarian section. Even though there was a noodle soup that contain veggie ham, veggie chicken and veggie beef, I was really craving actual vegetables so I ended up getting the Veggie Noodle Soup. This is totally hit the spot and has great flavor and a great variety of vegetables, including bok choy broccoli, carrots, snow, peas, and also fried tofu. https://yelp.to/vRI-cVlIMM We also ordered Tofu Spring Rolls, which were really solid. https://yelp.to/IZdgpBeAMi Small restaurant with a decent sized dining area. The staff was helpful. I would like to come back and try that other soup sometime.

My favorite spot for years. Always a good moment when I come here. I normally order a Pho or Bun. The staff is nice and helpful. I enjoy coming to this place on my own to enjoy some noodles and introspection. It's a peaceful and simple place. I love it.

The pho had a great flavor. I ordered a large bowl and it was enough for 2. It has a nice calming environment. The only issue I Believe it had was the parking however that not in there control.

The server was kind and attentive, the food came out quick and it was very good. I had the pho vegetable soup, and my husband had the shrimp fried rice. I really enjoyed my soup, it was delicious, my husband said the rice was average, he said "its aight". Inside seating available, restrooms available, and clean for the most part.

I always order it when I go to Thai restaurants or places that have it. So I HAD to try theirs. My husband and I went last Wednesday night to order the mango sticky rice but they had sold out already. (The worker recommended I call them prior to going there to see if they still have some available) The worker was nice and friendly. The next day, I went with my kids because now I HAD to try it. This time, I called prior to see if they still had some on hand. When we arrived to the restaurant, the mango sticky rice was already stacked in containers ready to go - which is new to me. I've never seen that before. I ordered 2, we didn't order anything else. Idk if I had a bad batch or what but my kids & I thought it was ehh. It was .. okay I guess? But it wasn't the best we've had. Probably an unpopular opinion because all the reviews I see state it's the best they've had and i just didn't taste that. We didn't even finish it. The worker the second time I went wasn't the friendliest either. Parking is great since it's part of a big shopping center. There's tables & chairs outside as well where you can eat, which is where my kids & I ate. Tables are shaded so that's good.

I also loved that they have healthy açaí bowls available in the same building, which is a nice bonus if you're in the mood for dessert afterward. For my first visit, I ordered the Garlic Noodles with Bulgogi Short Rib Steak, and it definitely did not disappoint. The garlic noodles were flavorful, and the bulgogi short rib steak was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The dish comes with two sauces, and they really elevate the meal. The cilantro-lime green sauce has a nice kick to it, but it pairs incredibly well with both the garlic noodles and the steak. The sweet and savory brown sauce was equally delicious and added another layer of flavor. Every bite was satisfying, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making my first visit even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself has a clean, cozy ambiance that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your meal. Overall, I'd give the food a 10/10. The quality, flavors, and portion size made for an excellent dining experience. While the menu is a bit of a splurge, the freshness and taste make it a place I'd happily come back to when I'm craving a flavorful Vietnamese-inspired meal. I'm already looking forward to trying more items on the menu!

We ordered the xiao long bao, broccoli beef, beef rolls, and chicken chow mein. The xiao long bao was excellent with a good amount of soup in each dumpling, and the beef rolls were probably my favorite item, especially dipped in a mix of black vinegar and soy sauce. The broccoli beef had a nice flavor, though I wished it had a little more meat. The chicken chow mein was the weakest dish for me: the noodle texture was great, but the overall flavor didn't stand out as much as I expected. Ordering was easy and the menu was very approachable thanks to the pictures. The restaurant is on the smaller side, which actually made it easier to get a server's attention when needed. Food also came out pretty quickly. The ambiance is straightforward and comfortable -- nothing fancy, just a solid neighborhood restaurant. Because it's small, you may have to wait if it gets busy, but tables seemed to turn over quickly thanks to the fast service. One practical tip: the portion sizes are bigger than they look. For this visit, we ordered the following dishes (which started arriving within 10 minutes): Roast Duck: As expected, the duck skin was crispy, and the meat was plump, tender and nicely seasoned. Beef Chow Fun: The seasoning was super flavorful, and the glossy, but non-greasy sautéed thick rice noodles had a perfect texture. The beef pieces were tender, and the portion of bean sprouts was just right without overcrowding the dish. Wonton Soup Noodle: The thin noodles were perfectly al dente. The broth was light but flavorful. The wontons had nice thin wraps, and the fillings were well seasoned and with pleasantly firm consistence. We left the restaurant feeling 110% full and satisfied. Highly recommended.

The inside is nice and spacious, a little dimly lit and clean. The worker was very friendly and service was quick. We asked for his recommendation and he suggested we try any of the yukgaejang. He brought out two sets of banchan - fish cakes which were firmer and more seasoned with sesame oil than some other place which was pleasant, a nice sweet fresh kimchi, and some chive kimchi, as well as the condiments for our dishes. To split, we got the small bossam, the rice cake and dumpling soup, the mul naengmyeon, and the yukgaejang with fresh pasta. Everything was super flavorful, large enough to split between the 5 of us, and delicious. The standouts are definitely the yukgaejang - the fresh pasta may sound weird but is a nice chewy thick noodle and the broth is rich and flavorful with just a bit of spice - and the bossam - at a lot of places the small bossam is still huge, and this was a good size so that we still had room for other dishes, and the meat itself was more flavorful, tender and nice and warm on the steamer that it came out on! The rice cake and dumpling soup and the mul naengmyeon were also solid. I'll definitely be back at Yuk Dae Jang for a warm comforting bowl of yukgaejang and bossam with friends :) Bonus, you don't have to go to ktown!
