Jerry was fantastic! I called from our office as a key to a file cabinet broke. We needed to get into the cabinet that day, another locksmith we have used in the past was unable to come out until the following day. Jerry was able to get to our office earlier than we expected and we thought he would have to replace the whole lock after the replacement key from our old locksmith didn't work. He was able to make a key that did work, and his charge was even less than he originally quoted. We'll definitely be calling Pacific Lock & Key for all of our locksmith needs going forward. Fast and friendly service and affordable, always good to have a trusted locksmith in your contacts before you are in a tough spot and get stuck with someone overpriced. THANKS JERRY! read more

Pacific Lock and Key is great. I take all my key and lock needs there at they always work. And when my 2 year old boy locked himself in the bedroom, they came right out, opened the locked door and had a new door knob to make sure that didn't happen again. read more

Pacific Lock and Key is awesome. They showed up in 10 minutes after I locked my keys in my trunk. The guy (I think Jerry I'm terrible with names) was very friendly, professional and did the job way way cheaper than AAA had quoted me. Also way way cheaper than all the other mobile locksmiths I called. He could have made me have him make me a new key and charge me hundreds but he was honest and did the job in the cheapest most efficient way possible. read more

Doesn't get much easier than this kiosk/drive-up building to get a copy of a key made QUICK. For around $2.50, you will be in and out in a jiffy, key in hand!!! read more

Needed 2 copies of a housekey made. Took only a few minutes and $6. Quick, easy, got the job done. I left out a star because Joe was the only one there and was so busy that he didn't acknowledge me waiting there; I almost left to go somewhere else--it took the good advice of another customer waiting that convinced me to stay, and I'm glad I did as I only waited a few minutes. read more

I've had copies made here a couple times already and have probably spent less than a minute total in the store. Quick and friendly service. $3 for a simple key copy. Couldn't ask for anything more! read more

Great place. Fast and efficient. Walked over to Fred Meyers and back and my rekeyed doorlock was done.

Fantastic service. Our 2000 Ford Focus had been having ignition problems for years when it finally decided to lock up and not start at all after we'd parked it in an illegal spot near our house (whoops!). After calling mechanics with no luck we were about to get it towed to a mechanic who wouldn't be able to look at it for days when it occurred to me to try locksmiths - these guys came out about 20 min after I called and had the car starting beautifully an hour later. And I'm sure for way less than a tow truck plus mechanic would have charged. read more

My son locked himself in our bedroom and the previous owners never left us the keys to any of the bedrooms. I called them in a panic and they arrived in minutes. He got my son out and was nice enough not to charge me. They will be the first place I call i need a locksmith again. read more

The keys that they cut work - not sure if it has anything to do with my lock but the keys Home Depot cut for me previously didn't work.

It's kind of silly to review a locksmith, or so I thought. I always figured that locksmiths were all the same, nothing special from one to the other. Before calling these guys I had only one other locksmith experience that was kind of impersonal, yet professional, which seems about right for a locksmith. But these guys were above and beyond what you would expect from a locksmith. Friendly, professional, good at their job. It's like when you find a great mechanic, you feel the need to tell everybody to go to them. GO TO THEM. read more

We had to have our new home rekeyed. The price that Pacific Lock quoted us was lower than some of the "Big Named" locksmiths and a friend had a good experience with them so I decided to give them a try. Very glad I did. They were very helpful (gave us some great suggestions on the types of new door lock sets that would match with the other existing locks on the home) and extremely prompt in responding to our home when we were ready to get rekeyed. A great experience all round. read more

My son locked the bathroom door and I couldn't pop it open the old fashioned way as a hanger didn't work in the hole. I called and the person on call ( it was after hours) spent time explaining that I needed a small flathead to catch and pop it open. He helped walk me through it to help avoid an expensive lockout fee. As I didn't have the right tools and my son was sleeping, he suggested I hammer the end of the hanger to create a custom flathead. It worked great. Props to how friendly he was, helpful and going out of his way to not charge me money. read more

Be sure to ask how much it will cost prior to committing to the work. He charged $6 for a single key. I paid about $2.50 at Stoneway recently. They do have a lot of blanks so they get the second star. read more

Perhaps this guy can copy keys, but to claim that he's a locksmith is a stretch. I went in today to see if he could repair an old door latch, as the new style won't fit on this door. He told me it can't be done, I have to buy a new one. I even suggested that it looked like all he had to do was drift out a pin and replace a spring. No, can not be done. Really? It took me less than 10 minutes at the bench and 10 minutes at the hardware store to take down, clean all the old gunk out, re-lube and reassemble with the new spring ($.50) and it's as good as new. This guy was not only unfriendly, but unhelpful and either incompetent or simply lazy. read more

Jerry has now 'saved' us twice, and we couldn't be happier to have found him. We called him on a Friday evening about a broken front door lock, and he arrived within an hour. He is extremely friendly and professional. He has charged us a reasonable price both times we've called, and we recommend him highly! read more

This place is great! I had been trying to get a key copied and had taken it to several different places including home depot, fred meyer, and lowes. None had the key in stock, as it was an older key. But pacific lock not only had the key in stock, but had a lot of them! The man behind the counter is super nice, and I had my new keys within minutes. Next time I am going to just skip the other places and come straight here! read more

I have used Pacific Lock and Key for my business for many years. Jerry is fast and fair. He is also good! He has solved some complex problems for us. Always has a smile too! read more

Locked myself out of my sisters house when pet sitting for the weekend. I called Pacific Lock and Key because they were really close (less than one mile). He came, picked the lock on the back door in about 10 seconds and opened up the front door. He was at the house for all of 15 minutes. All I asked was to open the door so I could get in. The charge was $118. Outrageously high and I feel like he took advantage of me. When I called to question the charge he said he had to 'repair' the lock. He didn't ask me if I wanted him to repair anything, nor would I have agreed to it as it is not my house. Very nasty attitude and very rude. Started yelling at me. NEVER will recommend this person. He takes advantage of people who he thinks don't know about locks and are in a locked out situation. read more

Popped in to get two keys made--pleasant man working at the counter made them within a minute, charged a fair price, bid me farewell--I went home and both keys worked splendidly, a wonderful change from getting keys made at the local hardware store that for some reason fail to work!!!! I will never go anywhere else to get keys made again. So nice to enjoy a straightforward, hassle-free transaction that's so simple. Thanks! read more

My husband went off to NYC with our car keys, so I needed to get into my car and get a new key. They came and explained cost options with my car. They were friendly, got into my car and made a new key at a great cost!! They also work with AAA so I got a great deal. They also were quick to arrive on a Saturday morning. read more

I rolled up to Pacific Lock & Key on a 1982 BMW motorcycle with a rubbed-off, hand me down key and a set of luggage whose key blanks have been out of production since the late 1990s. Not only did Joe (Pacific Lock & Key's resident Jedi) find a way to re-create the ignition key, he actually FABRICATED a luggage key. I stood in awe as trial and error brought us closer and closer to a solution. In the end, I rode off with two perfectly functioning keys and the biggest imaginable grin. Do not hesitate to take all your key business to these guys! read more

Pacific lock and key is the BEST!!! We were getting the run around from the dealership about making a key. They wanted us to tow the car in and would be two business days before they key would be ready. We called Pacific Lock and Key and they were there is 5 minutes. Jerry was amazing. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very efficient. I would recommend this company to anyone in the Seattle area. THANK YOU, JERRY, you are a lifesaver :) read more

Read the reviews this morning and then was completely wow'ed myself w/ the same day service. Fast, professional, gracious, and nice man. Jerry installed all new locks in our house and got us new keys in about 30 minutes. Highly recommend their services! read more

So many locksmiths have gone under due to the bad economy, I felt really lucky to find one still open. I was very impressed with the professional manner in which they did the work I requested. The person who did the work was courteous, friendly and new what he was doing. I am the security director for a condo complex in Mill Creek and when we needed to have the elevator key switches repaired, I remembered this locksmith and called them to do the work. Their response time was great and the job performance was once again of top quality. read more

I had tried to get a key made at my local Ace store and I had to go back because the keys didn't work. I went back & they tried 2 more time without success - after well over a half hour of waiting and hoping. I went to Pacific Lock & Key (now in Fred Meyer Parking Lot off of 85th St) & they made a key copy within about a min that worked on my truck seamlessly. I highly recommend! Friendly service, nice little shop and very effective. read more

Recently purchased a Buell motorcycle and wanted spare keys, but not the hassle/expense/wait of special ordering them from a dealer in Bellevue. Because the local kiosks/hardware stores couldn't find a match I turned to Pacific L&K. In/Out with a pair of extra keys ($7.50 each) in less than 6 minutes. Very pleased. read more

Needed a spare key made for my older Toyota. Went here because I figured they would know what they were doing. Person in the shop said they could do it but the locksmith who knew how to do it was out on a call, so she gave me their card and said to call before I come over to make sure the right person is in the shop. So, since it was just a spare I needed and I wasn't really in a hurry, I figured I would come back. So I called the next day and I actually got the guy who would do the work on the phone. I asked if he could do the key and he said yea sure. I told him I would be there in five to ten minutes, he said great. Ten minutes later I arrive and it is the same person as the day before with the same message that the guy who can do it is out on a call. Needless to say I will never waste my time with these guys again. Poor service and terrible communication, not to mention why do they have someone working at a locksmith shop who cant make a key? read more
