Walking in felt like I had transported to my college days as it had a diners / dive bar / greasy date feel to it Ordered - P.I's Famous Fish & Chips (4.5/5). Got the 3 piece order. This was very good and unexpected as it may be the best fish n chips I've had. The ones I had in the past were super oily, deep fried, and didn't taste like fish. This one felt fresh and made-to-order. The coleslaw and tartar complemented well, too - Cheese Taquitos (4/5). Yum. Cheesy, hot, and super fresh P.I. is a good choice for lunch if you're in the area. This is definitely a perfect place for me to have a few drinks. It's small, chill, and the staff and customers are all very friendly. The drinks are awesome, and strong! Prices are pretty reasonable. Actually probably cheaper than most places. Margaritas are 7.50. most places charge at least $10 for any mixed drinks. Pool is 75 cents. Apparently the fish and chips are supposed to be amazing here. I asked my friends where's the best fish and chips in Seattle, and they either said Ivars or Pacific Inn Pub, I finally have a change to try both within the same month. Since pacific inn pub is only a minute away from me, everyone highly recommended it, so I ordered a takeout because there was way too many people on a Tuesday night. It has fish, chips and coleslaw. The fish are crispy and doesn't taste fishy, that's how you know they seasoned it well and it's fresh, also it is bigger than Ivars. Chips and coleslaw are okay, can't really rate it since it's only fries. Also the price is fairly cheap. I personally prefer this place more than ivars but everyone has different preferences. She gave us a little bit of attitude when we first sat down, but we thought maybe she was having a bad day. We ordered the fish and fries and replaced the fries with tater tots in our order but ended up getting fish and fries instead of the tots. When we mentioned we asked for tots, she told us "well I didn't hear you so if you want tots we can put in an order for you." This implied that we would get charged if we wanted our order corrected. We clarified if getting it corrected would mean we would get charged extra for the tots and she gave us an "of course you'd get charged extra". We asked again if we could just have the tots since that's what we originally ordered and she told us to calm down and stop being worked up about it. We felt it was pretty rude. This is one of our go to bars! Local, unpretentious and yummy bites! We love Pac Inn! The guys running the bar daily are awesome! Super chill, friendly but pumping out food and drinks non stop! They have great fried food! Shrimp, fries, tots, wings, fish etc. Always perfectly fried! We come here to watch sports, get drinks and eat. We always leave full and satisfied. Stoneway is getting busy and fancy but PAC Inn is at the bottom of the hill still doing them. Love it! Seattle bar here with good character and they have outdoor seating. After you get over the dingy smell and atmosphere of the place it really was a great little spot. The service is friendly and quick. Seems to have lots of regulars as well. I had the rueben and a an americano. The rueben was very standard and made correctly. My friend ordered the fried fish sandwich and told it was one of the best he has ever had. It's a dive bar and it does get pretty popular (especially if it's sunny) so sometimes it takes them a minute or two to get to people, but everyone has always been nice. Divey in a nice way and definitely clean. And the lady who was serving was so nice and accommodating (after sitting at a booth and ordering we asked to move outside and she said absolutely and explained to sit outside you have to start a tab). And the food was good! It's pretty basic but SO delicious and very reasonably priced (I had a Cajun chicken burger with fries and it was $12) my sister had fish tacos and my partner had an impossible burger with guac and salsa. Pacific Inn Pub has been a favorite Covid-friendly spot to grab beer and food. It is super divey which I love and the staff is very friendly. The have a covered outdoor seating area, it does get pretty cold so you definitely have to bundle up, but I'd say it's worth it. I've come in on a couple weekend evenings and it's never been too busy. The cod is fresh as can be, and they are breaded to perfection and fried to a deep golden brown. The tarter sauce is homemade and the chips are excellent too. In the before times I would meet friends here for a few games of pool and a pitcher of Rainier to go with the goods. These days I get takeout, but the food's just as yummy as it's always been. This is definitely a mom 'n pop local bar with great fish and chips for the price. We came soon after they opened on a Sunday and the place was pretty dead. You have to be 21 to enter and no outside food or drink allowed. They had 3 very large TVs right above the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Now for the food. I'll be honest. You're not coming here for the best fish you've ever had. You're coming here for great fried fish and chips at a great price. Staff was super attentive -- we had two waiter/bartenders ask us if we needed a drink within 2 mins of sitting down! The recommendation was to try the fish and chips and boy they did NOT disappoint! The fish was super hot and fresh, crispy and not even a single bit oily! Very generous portions, too! Now, here's where it gets unfair: I'm currently working very hard on fitness and have been dropping the carbs. The fries were my downfall. I told hubby I'd try only one, but that didn't work out so well. One led to two..to three...maybe to 8 or so. Man, they were so good -- crisp and hot, again not oily. Prices are good, food is fresh and hot, service is great. Why not 5-stars? The music was atrocious and much too loud. We considered sitting outside but it was a bit cold. If I did this again, I might actually consider bringing ear plugs if this noise is the norm. Definitely would come here again for the F&C...and maybe try something different, too! The ignorant person who blocked her entrance claimed this is Washington state law (obviously it isn't). There is nothing more upsetting than a ignorant person full of certainties. Im torn with this review. On one hand the fish&chips were amazing. Ranks in the top 3 for sure. The crust was perfect and tasty. On the other hand this was the absolute worst service i have ever had. The "waitress" saw me sit down at the bar, made eye contact with me then moved on to the other customers in the restaurant. She came back and made eye contact with me again and then checked on the other customers for a second time. Next time she made eye co tact with me i had to wave hello to have her acknowledge i was a customer. She came over and said how can i help? This struck me as an odd question so i said "may i see a menu ???" She grabbed a menu slapped it i front of me and walked away to check on the other customers 2 more times before i had to wave her down again. She then asked for my order by saying "what do you want?". I got my food fairly quickly and she came back by slapped the food down, yelled eleven bucks, grabbed my card and came back and THREW the card and receipt at me. Pre-COVID times, this was my favorite neighborhood dive bar to end my night at. They always had the favorites on draft and it has a very low key vibe! One thing remains the same even during COVID times is how good their food is! I am a big fan of their fish and chips, but hands down, you have to try the Cajun battered fried shrimp that is served with coleslaw and fries!
