Hate hate hate to do this. These people need work. The service industry is hurting. But it is our hard earned money for a meal and so it's also not fair to be served inedible. To be clear, the appetizer of fried calamari was crispy lightly battered, seasoned nicely and plentiful with a spicy aioli. But then I had my main course and it was hard to believe they actually served it. Seasoned Mexican shrimp bowl. The shrimp were almost as small as salad shrimp. They tasted boiled but boiled until mushy then sauced with a flavorless chili sauce. There's no way any trained cook wouldn't know this was horrid. Mr Big had ahi tacos(?) and it was a bomb of rice atop a piece of nori and thin slices of ahi. Edible. So odd though. We had other things and I'm simply too disappointed to continue writing. It was a mish mash mix up of not very good the whole way through. Across the way at Il Fornaio the outside was packed with patrons. And only one other couple near us. Well why is that? Sad to say I'll not be coming back. Wanting to support local but it just won't be this local place that gets our support. read more

I had fish tacos the first time I came here, and one of the tacos was not edible because the fish was bad. They were short staffed that day so I couldn't tell them the problem until I was done with the rest of the meal. The manager came to talk to me.They gave me a card for a totally comped meal for my next visit. That is true customer service. I have been back for the tacos and they are very good. read more

Food was good, service was the worst at 2:30 in the afternoon. I'm a laid-back former waiter who almost never writes reviews. 4 drinks ordered from our waiter at the same time were delivered 10 mins apart in 3 deliveries with the beer coming 5 mins after everything else. Appetizer sat in the window while the 3 of the 4 plates were waiting. 4th plate was forgotten and delivered after everyone else was done eating. No silverware on the table til 3-4 mins after the food was delivered. Could be a 4 star restaurant with basic management and service skills. read more

After reading my negative review the manager contacted me and gave me a coupon for one free entree, which was nice. We've been there once or twice since and the service was better, but I have to say that the quantity of steak in the teriyaki rice bowl is a fraction of what it was. It's really none too satisfying. read more

Love the food. Healthy and tasty! I've been ordering from this restaurant multiple times a week and loving it

I used to love the enclosed outdoor patio with firepit and moody lighting. Suddenly the lights are blindingly bright! Food is so good but will not go again! read more

I had not been to Pacific Catch for a few years and I looked forward to revisiting Friday, January 5th , having fond memories of the Japanese Wasabi Bowls. I made a special trip to Marin just to revisit an old favorite restaurant. The waitress was slow to respond to my table, and when she finally came to take my order, she acted miffed and aloof . I was requesting a deletion of an ingredient and asking for an item to be served plain. She couldn't understand my request and honestly, she did not seem to care at all. When the bowl arrived my requests were ignored and I was disappointed in the scant presentation of an expensive lunch. The waitress never came back to the table until I caught her attention and asked for a drink refill. I needed to wave her down for the check. I had not been to the restaurant in a very long time, used to love it and was baffled by the lack of service. Too bad. read more

I've been going to Pacific Catch since my grandfather used to take me to the Geary restaurant. The new Pacific Catch is updated! I'm mad for their Poke bowl. Fresh and tasty! read more

I want to get this place a good stars, but word of advice be careful what you order. My partner and I got food poisoning after eating here. I had a taco platter which was watery inside the batter fish. My partners coconut shrimps and calamari were too fried that it was slightly hard. And it doesn't make it better our waiter was soo rude to us :/ I think we came on a really bad day. But unfortunately will not be returning. read more

One of my favorite spots quality fish, fabulous specialty cocktails and friendly service.

I ordered the salmon FC entree with the golden turmeric w/cauliflower option and sushi rice from the Corte Madera location through door dash. It was one of the best salmon dishes I've ever had! The fish was fresh and grilled perfectly and the golden turmeric sauce with a little tahini was lovely with a hint of mint, sliced almonds. The sauce was just enough as I hate when there's too much sauce. The flavors and spices came together perfectly and the 1/2 grilled lemon for the fish topped it all off. Will definitely order this again' read more

This was my first time here and was so, so impressed. Absolutely amazing service by our server Francisco. He is also a bartender so was so helpful in helping us select the perfect drink. My boyfriend even did the whole "surprise me!" stunt and he nailed it. Food was absolutely incredible. We got the calamari, rock fish burger and Rainbow roll and all were delicious. Perfectly cooked, hot and arrived quickly. We will be back very soon! read more

Super pricey for below average food. We wanted local fare not pre made food. We were on the way out of town and it came up as a local option and if we would have known we would have just driven home. read more

This place has gotten to be so inconsistent. For the first few years after they opened it was our favorite place with everything being right on the mark. Now it's good, then ok, then some delicious. You never know. The two things I can always count on being yummy is their Mai Tai and their salmon perfectly cooked. Their sweet potato fries, which used to be our most favorite item have been disappointing to ok for the past couple of years. Tonight they were pretty good. Everyone I know is so disappointed that they took their old delicious deep bowl salad/rice bowls off the menu. They were full of crispy lettuce/or rice but now the bowls are laid out in a thin layer and the lettuce gets hot and soggy from the warm fish. The new cucumber salad they put in top is room temperature. I wish it was cold. My mom ordered a glass of house Chardonnay and they charged her 14.00. That's ridiculous. The few Bonn things keep us coming back but no longer my most favorite place in Marin. I am soooo sad!!!! read more

We were surprised by this find. A true gem! In a strip mall if you can believe that! Had to pick up a gift and stumbled upon this place on the way back to the car. Both of us were tired and hungry so we decided why not. The atmosphere and decor are pleasant. Good lighting and sound levels. Fast, friendly, efficient service. The real eye opener was delicious, fresh fish and seafood well prepared. We had a nice meal and left not only satiated but with a new restaurant in our favs. read more

Excellent fresh seafood!! An indoor seating area and a patio. The food menu is made to please all. Just had the "Going all in" tower - soooo good!!! Variation of ceviches, pokes, tataki... 5 people and we didn't finish it. The bar has a killer "Maitai"! read more

This was my first time ever eating at Pacific Catch...and I was pretty surprised about the whole experience. The atmosphere and staff are very nice. We were seated quite immediately and a waiter came to our table pretty quickly. The food was surprisingly better than expected. I got the trio poke and it came with sides of tortilla chips and wonton chips. The poke was fresh and the flavors were interesting. The Vietnamese steak sandwich was really good, the meat was tender and flavorful. The tacos were packed with ingredients and the flavors of each were great (shrimp, rockfish, steak); I personally liked the taste of the steak taco the best. The mixed catch was smaller than we thought, the pieces of fish were very small, the crab cake was good, and the coconut shrimp was interesting. Overall a pretty good experience; I didn't have high expectations that's why I was impressed, however it wasn't the best seafood I've eaten (it was just average...personally). read more

We love the Pacific Catch in Corte Madera. Their bowls are a great take-out staple when you don't feel like cooking, especially the Thai Curry bowl with roast chicken on a chilly day! This is a great place to go with family, a bunch of kids or a big group of friends with or without a reservation. Great happy hour and casual weekend linner spot. We will often grab a bite before or after a movie at the Century Cinema. read more

Great ambience! Has outdoor/indoor seating. Also, has a full bar. Service was great, they were very attentive. Loved the rice bowl w/ short ribs. You can pick from white/brown rice. The ribs had a sweet, & tangy spice to it that I absolutely am obsessed over. Great portions. So, if you're ever in Corte Madera visit Pacific Catch for some American Seafood & Asian Fusion. read more

Let me say first, your hostess was really sweet and the cooks looked like they were working very hard. This was the first time eating from here. Heard pretty good things. Decided to go for it and waited a decent amount of time for my Togo fish tacos. Drove home to Novato thinking the food would still be tasty after a 20 minute drive home. No..seemed like they'd been sitting in a box for longer than I was waiting for them. Needless to say. Maybe eating in tastes better but that takeout was awful. I'm sorry. read more

This place has a great atmosphere, and excellent service. Me and my family went in for a nice family dinner and we're more than happy with our food selection. Shoutout to our waiter Brad Whiteside, made the experience even better, he provided great service and was very kind. Overall would recommend this place and come again. read more

Happy hour!!! I don't eat here much unless it's happy hour so this review is primarily for happy hour only. The happy hour food offerings are delicious and fairly inexpensive. I enjoy the poke most of all. The California roll also can't be beat. I wish they still had the tacos on the happy hour menu. Drinks are made well and fairly reasonable during happy hour. The service can be hit or miss. I have had to flag down a server several times to get our check, and we all know waiting for a check after you're dog eating and ready to leave is terribly annoying. Overall service is good though. And I would recommend this place! read more

What an amazing and tasty culinary experience!!! Having flown in to SFO from Boston, my brother and I were then headed North to Santa Rosa. Being in East Coast time , I was fairly hungry at 1130 PST. We stopped at the Pacific Catch in Corde Madera. Our lovely and personable waitstaff, Diana, took fabulous care of us. From recommending luncheon choices ( I had a grilled shrimp salad with avocado, edemame , avocado , and an extra helping of sriracha aoili on the side!!! My brother had a grilled pineapple salad with fried chicken, avocado over brown rice- both were scrumptious ), to strongly encouraging the "Mexican chocolate brûlée ( OMG!), Diana was attentive, conversational, funny and a real pleasure . I really wish there was a "branch" of this fabulous restaurant in the greater Boston area! Thanks, Diana and crew, for a fabulous experience!!! Chanda Reading, MA read more

Zonia was our server she gave an awesome service every time I come with my favorite and Korean Sticky RibsSteak Tacos

Decided to go there become it is conveniently placed in the mall. There was some kind of fishy smell when we came in but still decided to sit down. Had a fish taco with fries (nothing special) and two appetizers . The shrimp ceviche tasted like regular guacamole with shrimp and the poke summer special was just raw salmon with some spicy salsa. Overall pretty average. The service was fast a great though and the place is comfortable enough to spend a couple of hours! read more

We were welcomed from the entrance by the hostess's. Our waiter also made us feel at home and answered our many questions about the menu. We had the Cabo calamari appetizer very good cooked perfectly it was served with a spicy chipolte dipping sauce. I ordered the fish & chips it was served with a jalapeño tarter sauce, slaw and seasoned fries. Seasoned fries were very good. (My party ate all my fries) One person of our party ordered the tacos a la carte, one with the traditional Baja fish and one with grilled salmon (salmon recommended by the waiter - he had it on the money) they also requested dairy free sauce on the tacos and there was no hesitation from our server. A third party person ordered spicy tuna sushi roll - very good, they also ordered a Thai salad - small but very healthy and good. It was finished off with a macadamia nut brownie to share for the birthday celebration (I didn't have any but it smelled so chocolatey good! I wish I knew the waiter's name because he was definitely a 5 Star. We will definitely be back to get our Pacific Catch on! read more

use to be a favorite go to place for lunch or happy hr. the place has gone way way down, prices up however. service is now the worst possible, and you can see that the customers are NOT lined up anymore to get in. Also the quality and quantity of the food is NOT what it was. It is understandable that prices had to go up, but the presentation and quality is not there. Use to buy gift cards for people, and myself but no more. It is a shame that it has gone down and they have apparently gone through several managers. It us to be difficult to get a table no more, people have gotten wise. A remodel will not save this place. Get it back to the quality it once was and worth the money too many good places to go in marin. read more

Amazing place to sit and relax after a long drive. Customer service was exceptional as well as the tasty food.

It was either Spinnaker's for it's beautiful view or Pacific Catch. We were both hungry after a morning walk, shops around in Sausalito. Weather was amazing warm and clear. We ended up at Pacific Catch which is located a few miles north. We enjoyed lightly battered fish tacos and a mahi mahi bowl made with half lettuce, half brown rice. Great place to grab a bit to eat for locals and visitors. read more

Two taco platter is to die for. Tried the shrimp and steak tacos and I couldn't tell you which was better. Another one to try: Thai shrimp. It says they give you five per serving but there is a high chance you will get more depending on the waiter. Do not get the seasoned fries though! Wayyy too seasoned and basically tastes like salt. Otherwise, no complaints for the food or the service! Only four stars because they have a limited menu for people who don't love seafood (I know it's a seafood restaurant, but I come here a lot with people who LOVE seafood and I only eat a little of it). read more

First time customer, We got the California roll, traditional Baja taco, grilled bass taco and a pan seared fish with broccolini, crab mashed potatoes. First of all, they don't check Covid vaccinations, there were not much covid precautions happening. usually dining in Berkeley, This seemed unsafe to me. The California roll was borderline disgusting, which was on us. Who orders sushi roll in pacific catch?! The traditional Baja was great, lacked a bit of salt but the fish and the slaw was AMAZING. Grilled bass was ok. The whole pan seared fish dish was ok but extremely greasy, including the broccolini that was swimming in butter. read more
