    Gigante Burrito

I got a few items to go this time, Was sure to get 1/2 pint of salsa to go with with the Gigante burrito. Service was great and I love the setup of the establishment. I just wished the food had more traditional Mexican flavor to it. Burritoville Spice up the food !!!!!

I've been eating at burritville for 20+ years, since they were in the red hill shopping center in San Anselmo. I like that I can still get a "baby" burrito, for those days when I'm not super hungry. The quality and consistency has declined a bit over the past few years though, so this is no longer my steady, go-to taqueria. But still a nice lunch spot in my new taqueria rotation.

Best burrito in Marin by far. I get carnitas super burrito w refried beans! So good and flavorful

    Super Burrito

Super (small) burrito Count your days burritoville, what the hell is this. "Super" bullshit. I wanted dinner, not a supplement. This is ridiculous.

Embarrassingly small, never in my 22 years of ordering the Frijoles Con Queso Burrito has it ever been this small, not here not anywhere.

I'm seriously disappointed. I'm 27 years old and I've been coming here since I was 4 years old. I lived in Larkspur for over a decade and even when we didn't live in Larkspur, I would beg my parents to take me to burrito Ville for dinner growing up. Softball games, swim practice, ballet rehearsals, walking around town with my friends, all had one thing in common growing up - "lets go to burrito Ville!" Even on an occasional Bad day, my dad would bring me burritoville lunch to cheer me up. There have been years of my life where we got burritoVille consistently , at least three or four times a week. Die hard fans. The salsa being one of our favorite parts. And the friendly cashier when we were younger. As I entered my teens, I started to notice that the cashiers would be extremely rude to everyone. I would always hear the same thing. The foods good but man those cashiers are so stingy and rude! Didnt deter us all together. Then the salsa bar went away. The prices spiked more than you'd expect AND portions went down a lot. Tonight I received the rudest service along with a false advertisement on the website of the price ( it saying $6 bean and cheese burrito, the associate saying its $7.55 - which is illegal) its about the principle. Im expecting the same size bean and cheese burrito. What i got was a miserable excuse for even a childs burrito. (Something Ive nostalgically ordered for 22 years. It was the smallest burrito I have ever seen in my entire life. Needless to say, I don't know if I will ever be returning - one of the biggest disappointments ever in Marin County history. Have in mind I asked him for four of the teeny tiny tablespoon of salsas, that's one of the reasons I come there. And he was like how about one. Like whats that gonna do. this is so messed up. Owner you need to do something or this place will go eventually. Mi Familia still has a salsa bar and they always have a line out the door. Take notes burritoville. Stop being so cheap and stingy. It doesn't make the burrito taste better.

Burritoville is located in downtown Larkspur so parking could be a bit tricky. I thought my shrimp burrito was very good and flavorful. Their hot is not very spicy, in my opinion, but it did have a nice kick. Shrimp was perfectly grilled and seasoned, all the add ons were really good (I got the supreme one so it included guacamole and sour cream). You can order ahead or order at the counter and their to go orders are pretty fast. The place is pretty small but they do have several tables if you want to dine in.

It's not good Mexican food, over priced. Go to Tucán tacos in San Rafael. Where they serve real salsas and tacos with more than enough meat.

For me, a nice eggplant pizza and the chicken dinner for my wife which is a house favorite since they first opened. My favorite cocktail, the ADMIRAL and a beautiful, tasty nonalcoholic cocktail for my wife. Simply superb! The remodeled outdoor patio is really something to behold- it's a beautiful cozy setting, especially on a warm evening. For several years now this has been just about my favorite spot to go to in the bay area and certainly my number one Marin spot! Sometimes just to sit at the bar and have a nice exquisite craft cocktail is a complete joy. Or, if you only want a pizza, this is the best place to do it as the wood-fired pizzas are second to none and who doesn't want some pizza and good beer? With a price that's not out of line in comparison to the region. Check out the private dining area which can be shut off and secluded which is great for meetings, birthdays, bar mitzvahs, or graduation events. Oh, and let's not forget the succulent desserts. Be sure to take a stroll before or after dinner, and check out the captivating retailers at this charming shopping area known as the Marin Country Mart. There are even freestanding retailers in the various parking areas. Most assuredly, a good place to spend an afternoon or evening. ***Please note that I'm in two areas frequently southern California and Northern California. So I post my favorites in both spots.

I also appreciate that they had really thoughtful service, making a really busy lunch time a pleasant experience. The only one minor downer was yes, this is definitely on the slightly more expensive side, even for the bay area. Nothing crazy out of expectations.

The accompanying baguette reminded me of those I had enjoyed in Paris- paired with real butter. We had a salad, and they were both sensational. I had the blood orange salad with the most tasty vinaigrette dressing. As I had mentioned, as it was my friend's birthday, sweet Josephine, surprised her with a birthday cream puff, which we shared & devoured . There's plenty of free parking at this Marin County highly stylized mall. The RH facility is very impressive and freestanding in the parking lot and you will witness a wonderful display of stunning home furnishings on your way to the rooftop restaurant. My wife had the SHAVED RIBEYE ON CHARRED GARLIC BREAD, Emmentaler Swiss, Cherry Peppers, with Au Jus. I've heard it referred to as the best French dip ever consumed. My dietary needs are a bit limited, but I enjoyed the CHARRED HEIRLOOM BROCCOLINI with Lemon, Garlic Confit, Calabrian Chili, and some wonderful french fries with aïoli. A wonderful Lioco Pinot Noir complimented my meal nicely. The Village in Corte Madera features top retailers to include Apple, Verizon, Williams Sonoma, Anthropology, Johnny Was, to name a few. And, of course, Nordstrom (which is the main anchor to this facility) with a wonderful assortment of high-quality merchandise and top name-brand representation featuring men's and women's footwear. Heck, there are a few showrooms of electric car brands at the Village Marin. What a welcome reprieve from the deteriorating big city retailing landscape, and so nearby! Just about 10 minutes past the Golden Gate Bridge north. Park and shop and have a wonderful dining experience at RH. The hippest thing is that there's no advertising or signage that states there's this rooftop restaurant here, you kinda have to know- and now you do! Update : return visit had a great experience again. I want to call special attention to our server, who was very gracious, kind, and efficient. Two or three sips into my lovely glass of Pinot Gris I reached for the top-heavy glass, and I broke it on the nice marble table. Without hesitation, she came and cleaned it up and brought me a complimentary refill, a totally professional move. Thank you.
