Decided to try this for lunch today as we had heard they have good poke. I always had the impression this was a fish house and a completely different type of menu than what it is. We tried the original poke and the Vietnamese steak sandwich, the steak tacos and the blood orange lemonade. OMG!!! Everything was so good!! Even better than we had hoped. It was way too much food and a really good price. Can't wait to go back! read more

Forgettable chain restaurant food. The restaurant imagines itself some sort of seafood-Asian-Mexican mashup but fails on all fronts. We tried the salmon chowder (nearly inedibly salty), the mixed catch (only the coconut shrimp had any appeal), coleslaw (gray and limp as though it had been sitting around several days), sweet potato fries, and one more dish that was so unmemorable that I can't recall what it was. Oh, and as an added bonus they tack on a "Covid surcharge" to your bill. Not sure what that's for but it certainly wasn't spent on quality ingredients. read more

Lunch was yummy. I had salmon chowder with a crab roll. I enjoyed both. Looking g forward to trying the rest of the menu bit by bit.

My new go to spot! I've tried another Pacific Catch before and wasn't impressed BUT this place is awesome and restored my faith in Pacific Catch. We ordered Cabo Calamai, ceviche, and cured salmon sashimi. Not only was the food we ordered great, the bartender Erick is the man! It's not often you find the attention to detail and perfect service that we did. He recommended drinks, offered spin offs and also gave us quite a lesson on mixology and alcoholic beverages in general. I could not be more happy with his service and welcoming attitude. My associate and I were very impressed. Definitely an asset to this location. Pretty sure Erick will have his own bar in the near future, and I'd be a regular! read more

I have a love affair with Pacific Catch. They know how to do it right. The Salmon Chowder is a 10. Grilled Salmon in a rich broth with toasty bread. Filling and perfectly seasoned. Not too creamy like typical clam chowder. Love the yellow tail sushi rolls. The small size fresh Sea Bass or Yellow Tail bowl with half brown rice and Quinoa with a salad is out of this world. Presentation is artistic. I wish I could have that every week, but their menu is always enticing me to order something new. Drinks hand's down is the Blood Orange and Lemon Aide. I usually like the friendly service because it's efficient, helpful, polite, and feels like the people are well-trained. I wish the food was served by someone wearing a mask, however. The bathrooms are clean, maybe the music is a bit loud or the soap dispenser isn't always working. Small issues. I have eaten in Corte Madera, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Mountain View. Ha, I am HOOKED on this place. Good job everyone. read more

I was a little bit weary of this place because of the reviews however it was nice when I was there. The service was great and the food was pretty good too! I shared some calamari with friends which was delicious. I also shared the mixed catch and the crab roll with someone. I thought the crab roll was very good, the server suggested it when I was deciding between that and something else and I'm glad I chose that. It was all very filling and yummy. I'm not much of a seafood person but I was happy with my meal for sure! read more

If you're looking for great food, can't go wrong with Pacific Catch. I've had lunch there twice. The food is delicious. Loved the fish tacos. Portions are large. You won't leave hungry. All the food I saw being served looked delicious. Highly recommended. read more

We had a bad experience with the service here in June but the manager Hung Tran took care of us. Pacific Catch in Corta Madera is an all over great restaurant in a great location! The staff is lovely, our host, Ian was very friendly and attentive to our needs as well as our server, Jaxton was lovely and went over the top to make sure we felt taken care of! I would recommend the poke and sushi rolls. Great place to bring the family for a nice dinner. read more

Waiting time wasn't too bad and service was friendly and attentive. Food has flavor but wasn't as warm as it could be but the food was filling & yummy. We didn't need to wait too long for our food either. Their mochi fondu was amazing too! Would recommend. read more

My wife and I love this restaurant. Great quality for the price point, and food is usually consistent. Lately at this location though it seems our orders have been incorrect. They've mixed up the tacos on a few occasions and wouldn't remove the cheese that comes with the black beans despite notes asking to remove them. The past 3-4 weeks they have had about 50% order accuracy across 4 visits. We have eaten here for years and love the food but if the order accuracy continues to be incorrect we're going to need to find a new place. read more

These were some pretty darn good fish and chips. The fish was very crispy on the outside, and Flaky on the inside. Not at all oily. I ordered the seasoned fries and had them cooked extra crispy. They were quite tasty and the seasonings Spilled Out onto the fish. It was like discovering the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Two great tastes together. The shrimp ceviche was also outstanding. Decent sized portion and could not have tasted better. Service was fast and with a smile. Dining room was nice and clean. And best of all, the price was right. read more

I've been to a pacific catch maybe..... 6 times and every time I've gone it's because of the following reasons: 1. I'm in an unfamiliar neighborhood and none of the restaurants on yelp have 4/5 stars 2. Hungry AF and need something before I wither away 3. Feel like eating something decent and healthy 4. Want to eat something that looks colorful in a picture LOL I've pretty much tried every rice bowl/salad and they're all pretty standard ($15 - $16) You can always ask to get half rice (brown or white) and half salad! The poke trios look fun and are nice to order, but they aren't the best quality-- pretty much goes for all the seafood lol but hey-- you're not gonna come here expecting A grade seafood. I don't think I've ever spent more than $20 on food (if I get a drink then yah) here which is great. Sweet potato fries are always welcome too! ^_^ read more

Pacific Catch - Ahi tuna half rice/half salad - Seafood Near Me - Corte Madera, California

Its def a cute spot in Corte Madera shopping mall! Pacific Catch has great and many options for all picky eaters at home. Our table ordered everything from veggies to sea food to meat. I personally think its awesome when everyone orders something different you and taste everything from everyone. I got fish tacos which were good and delicious. That day I tasted poke bowl to coconut fried shrimp to different types of salads. I also had great strawberry lemonade, 3 orders! Yes, it was that good! The food quality is great and looks/tastes fresh. If you are coming as a big group, i would call ahead and reserve seating. Pacific Catch is great for big group mingling! read more

Yum! The updated menu is fresh! I had a small shrimp salad and it was a generous portion and very delicious. Mr had the shrimp tacos and these are always a hit. Check it out! read more

I'm surprised this restaurant only has 3 1/2 stars, everything about this place was 5 stars! The service was attentive, friendly, really helpful, and not too annoying with their check-ins. I'm not a big fan of the chatty cathy's, but I do like to know that I don't have to wave someone down every time I want something. The food was unexpectedly phenomenal. The seafood is as fresh as it's advertised, and there were layers of flavor in every dish. We are there for dinner, of what we ordered, my favorite was the crab cakes (particularly because of the salad it came with) and the sole. We will definitely be coming back!! read more

A lovely evening in Corta Madera after a chilly end to the day in SF. Nice to warm up on the patio of Pacific Catch. A very attentive, friendly wait staff greeted us and set us up with our own big bottle of water and a small bowl of edamames and pretzels shaped like fish. Nice touch! So good we asked for two more through the meal. Very generous. We had the Seared Ahi Salad and the Macadamia Poke Salad. Absolutely delish. Excellent food and service in a lovely environment. 5 stars for me. read more

Yuck. The exterior of the place looks nice, and I walked in, expecting a half-decent decor. Nope. It was like...a dimly lit Denny's, and the booths and tables had a more subtle color scheme than Denny's. Service was good; I have nothing critical to say about the hostess or our server. The food, however, is another story. I opted for the Ahi salad with the dressing on the side, and my friend sitting on my right ordered the same thing. The server even asked, "So the same as her?" to which he nodded and replied in the affirmative. Our food came. My salad was already dressed and tossed and had literally 4 pieces of tuna. It also had rehydrated shitake mushrooms. I looked over at my friend's order. His salad had ginger, carrots, alfalfa sprouts and the dressing on the side. We traded because I'm very picky about the amount of dressing on my salad, which is why I asked for it to be ON THE SIDE. About halfway through, I realized my salad had no mushrooms. What? I thought these were supposed to be the same orders!! Well, they weren't, they messed up our orders, the food was not good at all, and the ambience wasn't all that great either. I wouldn't recommend this place, and I definitely wouldn't go back. read more

Eating at the restaurant sucks because the service takes forever. We used to order lunch from here all the time, but we stopped because it is pricey. The portions are large and the dishes are diverse. I think it's a nice place to go out with friends, but it's not really some where I'd take a date. read more

4 stars for the food and for the abundant and FREE parking. Did I mention FREE parking?! I like Marin county and even more so now that I've eaten at this Pacific Catch, and no waiting on a Friday night? Show me the table! Located at the Towne Center and they have the exact same menu as the ones in the city -- at least I know what to expect when I order. For some reason though I think the Tuna Poke was a bit on the "skimpy" portion side compared to the SF locations. Hmmm... Still love the edamame and the goldfish, keeps the kids entertained while waiting for the food to come. read more

The bf and I were in town and decided to dine here. It was either here or Baja Fresh (which was in the same shopping center). I wanted to have a nice sit down dinner. What I noticed about this restaurant is that it doesn't focus on one type of cuisine. The condiments on the table consisted of soy sauce, sirracha (sp?), ketchup, and Tabasco sauce (or another kind, not sure of the name). So we have chinese, vietnamese, japanese, american, and mexican food. We ordered the calamari for our starter. It came with a very spicy dipping sauce. It had a kick in it. My bf enjoyed it. I, on the other hand, thought it was a bit too spicy, but that's just me. I don't usually eat spicy food. I thought it was delicious anyways. For my entre I ordered the Whole Dungeness Crab with garlic noodles. It came with an entire crab cut into four pieces on top of garlic noodles and arugula. Not sure how the crab was cooked. I tasted salt and pepper for sure. I also had butter for dipping, which made it sooo yummy. If I come back here I will be ordering the same thing. The staff here seemed nice. Our waitress was nice, but my bf commented that she took forever to bring our food out. He noticed that people who came after us received their food before us. Anywho, I would recommend this place for a nice get together with friends our just a nice out with the bf or gf. read more

There is something addicting about this place! I think it's in their green tea or something. I've tried the ceviche appetizer twice and it's pretty tasty and the fried fish tacos are decent. I would recommend giving it a try. It is overall pretty good, nothing stands out for me per say but now a days I'm just excited to find a Resturant that doesn't completely suck. read more

Great restaurant across from Il Fornaio in the Corte Madera Town Center. PC has a large menu of fish entrees, all fresh, and very affordable. Fish tacos, especially during the 4-6 PM Happy Hour when they are bargain priced, are very good. I have had the swordfish, salmon, 3 & 4 taco platters, along with a really great fish and chips plate, and all were well prepared and seasoned perfectly. Service was excellent on every visit and the restaurant was very clean and inviting. Restaurants in this area serving fresh fish tend to be priced on the high side, but Pacific Catch, with locations in San Francisco and here in Corte Madera, has kept their prices lower than most, and never a sacrifice in quality or quantity of the portions. A really nice location for lunch or dinner in the open air Corte Madera mall. read more

By the name, you would think it is a fish house. It is and it is not. I would call it an Asian Fusion Restaurant. There are no whole fish or fillets on the menu unless you call "fish and chips" with fish tenders it. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, just the name is misleading. We had the Calamari which had a very light batter. Great clean flavor and the dipping sauce had some heat and smoke. I had the Poke Bowl with Tuna. My wife had the fried combo of 3 Oysters, 3 Coconut Shrimp and 3 fish tenders. All were good. read more

Been here a handful of times and haven't been disappointed. Tried their Poke bowl, just a colourful bowl of deliciousness. Also had their salmon salad with brown rice and quinoa just fantastic. I don't know what Hollis M, (the former waiter) is complaining about, but I had a great time the other night at Pacific Catch. The appetizers are very tasty. Get the ahi poke for sure. I will definitely be back. Thanks for the hospitality Jack. read more

To rate the food here I would give it five stars but it took them a while to get the meal correct and bring us the right order by the time we got our food and after asking three times for our drinks they finally bring it halfway through the meal and we had to turn them back because we didn't want alcohol with the meal we wanted it before the meal read more

Shard of Hard Plastic In Food, Poor Service, Lousy Food We used to like this place.... but.... This restaurant has gone down down down hill. Long wait for food, wrong order brought to the table, shrimp tacos were fried when the menu said nothing about them being fried AND a two inch sharp chard of hard plastic was in my son's taco, found when he bit down on something that nearly pierced his palate! The manager came over and said sorry we won't charge you for that. Really? Ya think? We will never ever go back and suggest you don't either. read more

One of my favorite new finds; I love the meal-sized fresh fish salads, particularly the Sushi-Grade Ahi for only $12.95: [from their on-line menu:] "Grilled rare & served with avocado, cucumber, daikon sprouts, pickled ginger, carrots, baby tomatoes, toasted sesame seeds & soy-wasabi vinaigrette," and brown rice on the side. This is got to be a bargain salad and healthy and deeeelish! The big surprise is just because its seafood does not mean its super expensive or that everything is fried. We like the light atmosphere and the pleasant staff. Update 10/13/07: went back and had their Japanese rice bowls tonight and had both the Wasabi Ahi Tuna and the Teriaki Ahi Tuna bowl (the latter over pineapple fried rice), each for $13.95. And we had the spicy calamari appy for $8.95. All the food was terrific although the Wasabi Bowl beat out the Teriaki for just great fresh flavors of the sesame seaweed salad and the large serving of pink ginger and of course the perfectly done rare Ahi Tuna slices. The calamari was delicious but could have been a little less oily. The Teriaki bowl was generously dressed with grilled Asian greens, asparagus, and lots of chopped Shitake mushrooms over a really good pineapple fried rice. Overall, again a great dinner (more than we could eat) with good tastes and a healthy overall feeling that we'd eaten WELL. I honestly have limited my selections to the Salads and the rice bowls because they do them so well here. So I don't have a real good sense of the other dishes since these are (1) under $15 each (2) really brightly flavored (3) healthy, and (4) filling so are (5) a great value. So why rock the boat and try the alleged "mediocre" stuff? [Oh Yes I do remember straying ONCE from these choices some time ago with the sweet potato fries there with another dish that was not the salad or rice bowl and--well--let me say that it didn't make that much of an impression of me. Set me back on the correct path...] The outside patio was spacious and well stocked with heat sources but I hardly noticed. The service was good and they even had a Hawaiian group playing Saturdays there--that we just missed (dang it). So try the dishes that I know are good and I don't think you can go wrong. read more

We are regs at this location. The food is very good, fresh & healthy options! Service is great & the staff & management really care. Great place! Made better by great people. read more

Def a good alternative for a poke fix if u aren't headed to Hawaii anytime soon :p Overall, I feel foodwise it is mediocre. I don't feel like anything is spectacular. We had sticky ribs, tacos, poke salad, mix batch of fried fish (cod, shrimp, scallops?). My friend's sister worked there, so we decided to go. Had it not been for that, I probably would not have gone on my own. Pricing: I feel like it's way overpriced. Sure, it's seafood, but still not worth it! Service: Good. They paid attention to us and our water glasses were always full. read more

Friendly staff and they were able to accommodate our family as a walk-in. The food was good we had the fish tacos and different bowls. The pisco sour adult drink was very tasty..I recommend ordering a pisco sour wherever you go and see that on the menu. So no complaints about food/drinks really. However, there were two things that really bothered us. The table they sat us at was so sad looking...it was off at the end of their restaurant like it almost looked like it didn't belong to them. It looked like they just pulled the table set out of their alley because the cushion seats were really used/beatup/gross. We didn't want to make a big issue since we were a walk-in and it did look like their last table...but even my girls were like damm really?! So we put our napkins over them and just said okay don't touch them and lets just eat and go since it was late. SMH. Also, when it came down to pay (they had a little portable slider) we got a receipt and when I got back to my car I noticed it said there was an extra % covid fee charge. The waiter never mentioned it, there was no sign on the table or on the menu or anything that we could recall. I found that very sneaky. I don't know what it was for...maybe the customers have to pay for their hand sanitizer (we carry our own and WASH our hands before eating so rarely do we use a restaurants sanitizer) or maybe its used to buy gloves for staff...or who knows maybe its for their damm toilet paper. As a courtesy, it should be explained to the customer what it is/why its being charged. Just good business to be honest and upfront. It got charged so it is what is... but hopefully they'll use that to clean steam their outdoor cushions in the future. read more

Interesting place - we've eaten here 20+ time over the past few years. The menu is more or less consistent and appeals to my wife - a picky eater who wishes you'd bring back the eel bowls please. The service is generally good, and stretched a little thin. We usually sit at the bar so I can watch the Warriors. The quality of the food varies from, 'This is pretty good.' to "It's not bad for the mall'. Of note, the restaurant can be messy, mostly stuff like napkins on the floor. I think it's because they get a lot of families with young kids; my wife and I are older and more or less neat. Probably 2 1/2 stars on a bad day, 3 1/2 stars on a good trip read more

We got turned down because of the size of our party at Flores. When we walked up to Pacific Catch, salty from a day at the beach, with a party of 9 including 5 kids, their response was "give us a minute to work out tables". The meal went from there. The guava-Rita (why is nobody else doing this?) was incredible! The appetizers were awesome, particularly the tortilla chips and guacamole - holy cow. Every meal on our $250+ bill was impeccable and the kids ate everything on their plates! We were there until almost an hour after closing and every sentence from our servers was courteous and hospitable. Seriously, these guys have the business figured out. Flores could stand to take some lessons from there. read more

Had lunch here over the holidays...the hostess could not even muster a smile when we entered. She proceeded to show us to our seat with the most stone cold face. Thought maybe she was having a bad day but it was still really off-putting. The waiter was also a bit unfriendly and was definitely not very attentive. At the end of the meal, my husband and children went outside to play while I waited for my food to be boxed. Took a long time and when the waiter came back, he blocked me from leaving the table while he picked up our receipt and looked at our tip. I wish we had left him a lot less. I really enjoy the food at pacific catch. I find it to be fresh and quite tasty. However, this time I ordered the udon. They did not actually have udon noodles and instead used rice noodles. The broth was also not very flavorful - bland really. The inside out roll was quite tasty though. read more
