I've had hundreds of bowls of jajangmyeon in my lifetime and this ranks in the top 5! This is including my favorite restaurants in LA, SF and Korea. The noodles are handmade and hand stretched so give a lovely bouncy base to the thick sauce. Pair the noodles with beef tangsuyuk (sweet and sour beef). Get the sauce on the side so it doesn't get soggy. You also need to dip in vinegar to cut the sweetness/fat. It's the perfect combination. Next time I'm trying the jjampong and kanpunggi! BUT as we were finishing up, about 5 couples came in WITHOUT a reservation and both the host and the bartender gave each couple the option to either sit at the bar or at a table.
