Today is National Noodle Day my husband got an email from P.F.Chang with a free Long Life Noodle deal. Free stuff, we went right over. Food here is always good. The Long Life Noodles were very short which indicates we won't live long. I told our server that the chef had killed us. Hopefully, this is just superstition. Our server, Taylor, was kind enough to laugh at my kill comment. I was happy to see a list of weekday specials including 'all you can eat' lettuce wraps on Wednesday for $10. Our lunch was great. Would not be bringing up how it's never possible to order online but when coming in the place looks empty maybe they are short staffed (Cheesecake Factory at same location always ready to receive an order and they look way more busy inside) But the quality of the food makes us throw away the food all the time. Lol...when we arrived there were dogs on the patio....some better send out a memo cause I don't like leaving my dogs home. Ok about the food....we started with the dynamite shrimp. It was pretty good, the flavor reminded me of buffalo wings. Don't know of I would order again...maybe try a different starter. For dinner we had Dan Dan noodles with chicken. Not on the menu you have to ask for it. It was good and my wife's favorite. We also had tofu with vegetables, that was my favorite. They really skimped in the tofu though. We chose the brown rice. My 3 star rating is for the service. The place was not too busy for a Friday afternoon. It took some time for someone to finally get our order. Food was delicious and came out fast! Ambiance was great, dim for date night but not too dim so it can be enjoyed by whomever you go with! Service was excellent!! Our server was Pac (I apologize if I spelled this wrong). Pac did a great job recommending items on the menu, and helped us choose between options that we were really indecisive about. He anticipated our needs prior to us asking for things and was always 2 steps ahead. Super cheerful guy, and definitely raised our spirits. Seriously why does this location not have five stars????? I had the best experience here twice in the last several weeks. The location is great, centered right in an indoor/outdoor type mall setting. It is right by a theater. There is a huge parking lot across the street from the restaurant and a huge parking structure near the theater as well. The restaurant is clean, beautiful and pretty large and the staff at the restaurant are all top notch. Our first visit was on 5/15 the day after Mother's Day. For various reasons we could not all get together on Mother's Day so we were celebrating with 7 adults and one baby in a stroller/carrier. We were also celebrating two birthdays. We came in at lunchtime rather than dinner. They do have some lunch bowls specials which are priced slightly lower and are smaller portion sizes as well. Meant more for personal plates rather than for sharing. The staff had a table ready for us within minutes and upon seeing the table location I asked them if we could move to a different table with bench seating because I thought it would be easier for the new parent's & baby to put the carrier on the bench seat. No problem! They happily moved 7 place settings etc. to accommodate us and kept assuring it was no big deal. With seven adults it took awhile for us to decide what we wanted to order because we all love PF Chang's food and we wanted to share all our meals "family style" so we get to all taste everything. They kept checking back with us frequently to make sure they were right on top of it when we we're ready to order. Well truly, the service is awesome. Some of our group love seafood and some are just ok with it so we ordered a good mix. Crab wontons, Honey Shrimp, Hot & Sour Soup, Chang's Spicy Chicken (the bomb!), Orange Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, and Ginger Chicken with Broccoli. We also opted for a combination of white and brown rice (which comes with the meal). Nice!!! All of the food was so delicious!!! Everyone loved it. The portion sizes were very generous. We even had leftovers for all to take home something. Overall a nice celebration with family and a wonderful experience. Also I am a rewards member and I have their App. I earned $15 free (PF Chang) dollars for this visit. So when we decided to go to the park with 5 of the same family members on 6/3 and bring lunch to eat at the park, I suggested ordering food to go from this same PF Chang's. I wanted to make sure I could use my $15 towards my order and didn't want to mess it up so I called the restaurant. It was my lucky day because I got the manager Jamie who was outstanding in every way. She was covering the front and the phones that day. She was so cheerful and helpful. Even though I said I could probably do it in the App, she entered the entire order for me to make sure I received my $15 credit towards my order. We ordered two orders of Orange Chicken and one order of Chang's Spicy Chicken and brown and white rice. When I picked up the order Jamie greeted me with a huge smile. She is so sweet! She had my order ready, went over all of it, threw in some extra sauces that she thought we would like and that would complement what we ordered. She knew we were taking it to the park so she made sure we had utensils, napkins, plates. She also threw in a signature surprise dish that we were not expecting!!!!!!!!! Just had the worst customer service at a restaurant in a long long time. Our server, Suzette, was rude, short tempered & unhelpful. When we asked questions about items on the menu she seemed annoyed and like we were wasting her time, her tone and rolling her eyes didn't help the situation. Keep in mind it was not busy!! There was barely anyone in the restaurant & she couldn't be bothered to help us. Then at the very end of our terrible service, she refused to assist us in splitting the bill, I will take fault for not mentioning beforehand, but her rude answer was "you needed to tell me that before". The absolute worst PFchangs!!!! Let me start by saying I never eat here because the food is always horrible but yesterday my friend and I were looking for a happy hour after 6 and they have an all day happy hour so I said what the hell let's give it a shot although I was super apprehensive I was trying to give them another shot. The bartender was not personable at all and every time I asked a simple question she acted like she didn't want to be bothered. I ordered the Mongolian beef and when I tell you it was beef jerky in a sauce I'm not kidding it was so dry and crunchy I was afraid of chipping my tooth. I took pieces of it and handed it to the manager so she could see that my complaint was valid I'm not here trying to cause a problem or get anything free I just want food that is edible and worth the money I'm paying. She agreed and couldn't believe they served us that dry teeth chipping meat. My husband and I have been to Happy Hour at P F Changs a handful of times when our schedules permit. When we went yesterday things had really changed. Previous, the bar menus were prominently displayed and the prices were clear...$5 for a margarita and $10 for food. This time the normal menu was displayed and we had to specifically ask for the Happy Hour menu. We immediately noticed an increase in the price of drinks and food.. a margarita now costing $8.99. Almost double what it was. Since we were already there We ordered drinks and some food and were disappointed. The food portions were cut in half. Instead of getting 6 dumplings, they brought us 3. We asked the bartender about the quantity and she confirmed that they had slashed the portions and raised the prices. The drinks were also watered down with tons more ice. Unfortunately they have lost us as customers. We will likely switch back over to Benihana's Happy Hour spot. read more

This location is worst PFCs I've been too and my family and I visit PFCs frequently. First of all, the chicken fried rice had 3 pieces of boiled chicken & it was absolutely tasteless. My Mongolian beef was cold and rubbery. It took us 13 minutes to get any sort of services, 11 minutes to get water and 29 minutes to get cold food. Our server, Mimi wasn't any good and she appeared to be complacent. She would sit in the back or by the bar on her phone and talking to her colleagues. It was very slow and she had 2 tables in her section (not including us). I will never take my family back here, what a waste of $63. read more

If you are in the mood for overpriced panda express, then this is your place. I am a huge fan of P.F. Chang's, that is until my last 2 visits to this location. That's right I did say panda express because I feel like this particular location leaves much to be desired. The color scheme and the decor is standard you've been to one you've seen them all with the exception of layout, ambience, & atmosphere. If you've been to other P.F. Chang's, for example, Chino Hills, Rancho Cucamonga, Irvine it's a completely different field it, it feels more like a higher end restaurant and the service is also reflective of that. That, however, is not the case here in Temecula, it really does feel like a overly decorated panda express where Once you're seated your server rushes you through your experience. We arrived at 6:30 I did not have a reservation. The restaurant was not busy and they told me it was going to be 30 to 45 minutes. I went online and I saw that there were reservations available, so we quickly snapped up a reservation and approach the hostess said we have a reservation, she looked at me funny, because obviously I just told her I did not have one but 10 minutes ago. She seemed rather annoyed well she and her companion seemed really annoyed that I popped over and told her I now have a reservation. I should not have been surprised just by looking around and listening to and watching the rest of the staff. My experience did not improve. Once we were sat our waitress seemed annoyed that it took us a minute to decide what we were going to drink and eat. Brought some waters to the table then disappeared for about 15 minutes. She brings back a martini forgot the beer and the Coke they ordered. She didn't even care says oh I guess I forgot it I'll be back well. We're now 20 minutes in and we're barely getting, our beverages kind of set the stage for the rest of the evening. If you're in the mood for P.F. Chang's as far as I'm concerned, you have a couple of options1) go to a different location 2) go to panda express Or go someplace else entirely, and save yourself a disappointment. And it was a disappointment since I really really do love to eat at P.F. Chang's. Lesson learned. I won't be coming back to this particular location. read more

I don't know what happened but pf Chang's has turned into trash! This use to be one of our favorite places. I can get better food at panda express in the food court. Service was 2 star. The food came out in literally 5 minutes- so yeah not fresh at all. Most of the dishes were cold. 3 out of the 4 in our group ended up with stomach issues. Thanks for the food poisoning. I bit in to a pod and it tasted bad, as I looked in it I saw it was rotten with a small worm. obviously I was disgusted but understand it's a vegetable and things happen. my issue was the manager arguing that it was not a worm but he would remove the spoiled food from the bill as a courtesy. Celebrated my 60th with an early dinner at PFChangs. No alcohol ordered. Several appetizers and entrees. Total tab without tax under $190. The waitress asked if husband wanted a refill on his coke, he asked if he could have a root beer instead. She asked why, he said it was flat then she said she just had some and it was fine. Excuse me??? He repeats he felt it was flat. I thought that was inappropriate but she comes back plops down the root beer and says that 3 of them back there tried the coke and it was fine. My husband repeated ok mine was flat then she didn't stop there , she said well the manager tried it to! At that point my head whipped up and I said are you kidding me? Are we talking about the coke???? Unbelievable! Never had someone argue over a soda being flat. Food was fine. Slow, clumsy service. Food quality on par with Panda Express; some dishes were luke warm at best. Never got our appetizers and when asked, said they would be right out. Next thing you know, entrees were served and still no apps. A few other "annoyances" as well that just make you lose patience. For instance, there were 5 of us, but we were always given 4 plates, didn't receive enough silver ware, asked for chopsticks but never received them, etc.. In summary, I will probably not be returning to this location anytime soon. It's readily apparent that the food quality has gone "TGIFridays" type corporate.
