Coconut Mojito, and Matcha Martini
Natasha A.

We enjoyed the Coconut Mojito, Matcha Martini (very good!), Dragonfruit refresher, Duck Fried Rice, Spicy Chicken, Singapore Noodles, Chili Garlic Green beans, Great Wall of Chocolate, and Pineapple Coconut ice cream. Did you know P. F. Chang was started by Paul Fleming (the "P.F.") and Philip Chiang in Scottsdale in 1993?

My girlfriend and I decided to go here after work for a birthday celebration and we ordered to go items. We got the fried eggplant, and Mongolian beef. The service was quick in the ambience at PF. Chang was typical casual and chill vibe. we took it to home in eight, which I'm sure if we were at the restaurant it would be fresher. Overall, it was OK.

I recently went to PF Chang's for the first time in years. I feel like it used to be awesome and a special occasion type of place, but now I feel it's just ok, maybe a 3.5. Honestly, I feel like I get the same quality at their fast casual restaurant Pei Wei. The lack of any meny specials, such as a lunch special on the weekend, or any deals made me not wnjoy this recent trip as much, especially seeing how I can eat much cheaper at Pei Wei. That said, PF Chang's Kung Pao Shrimp and hot and and sour soup are still great. Service was great and very attentive. Maybe I'll come back during the week when they have lunch specials.

This P.F. Chang's is located at The Shops at Norterra Plaza. We met friends for dinner. This is one of their favorite spots to eat. Staff are very attentive and friendly. We all ordered the Chef's Special. This consists of a choice of soup or salad, appetizer, and an entrée. It's a great deal. We decided on three salads and one hot and sour soup, vegetarian spring rolls lightly fried green beans, sesame chicken, Mongolian chicken, orange chicken, seared honey chicken, and a bowl of white and brown rice. Service was very fast. The, soup and salads arrived first. Shortly after that, the appetizers arrived. The food was tasting good. The gravy might have been a little bit heavy otherwise the proteins were made very well. A very nice dinner. Nice decor inside. Shared parking in the plaza.

Marco was our server today and he was great. Attentive, patient and helpful. Food was hot and done very well. The restaurant was full and we were taken care of quickly.

Restaurant looks great a remodeled happened since last time I've been there. Our waiter was very friendly and informative about the menu items. My husband ordered a beer with a glass. The glass was warm and very spotty. Maybe the filters but someone should definitely be cleaning the glasses when they come out of the dish washer. The firecracker shrimp was delicious a recommendation from the waiter. The dynamite shrimp was on point. However the orange chicken was a bit too spicy for my mom. They have a happy hour however, it is only on the bar or patio area till 6:00pm. I do miss the duck and Chilean fish they were the family favorites.

Orange chicken, fried rice, half salad was amazing as well

Chang's Chicken Lettuce Wraps

For dinner Dad and I weren't extremely hungry but knew we needed something so we decided upon PF Chang's appetizers. Admittedly we thought it was going to be a Pei Wei but it is basically the same right? Dad loved the lettuce wraps from a long time ago while I don't believe I've ever had them. They were so good! To the point we're considering making some with our lettuce at home. Then we had a plate of edamame which counted as our veggie, and the pork dumplings. It was so good all of it! We decided upon a pot of oolong tea as well which made it all so light, refreshing and delicious. Our waitress Hailey was so good and kind. She made sure there was extra care to our bell pepper allergy and we really respected that! She also recommended the limited seasonal individual butter cake and it was so tasty and gooey. Our ice cream was a bit too frozen so it wouldn't exactly melt with the cake's temperature but it was still so good!

Keep seeing advertisement for Cherry Blossom Martini so I stopped in to place a to go order & try the martini. Wednesday night just before 9pm not very busy at all. There were two bartenders, a male and a female. I kept hearing the women at the bar saying Calvin so I know he was the other bartender, but there was a female bartender. She approached me and asked me what I wanted. I explained I wanted the cherry blossom martini, but with vodka, she said OK and went to make it. When she brought it over, it was overflowing. It was dripping the whole way to me. She dripped on the entire bar, set the drink in front of me with the wet napkin & the sticky glass When I asked about the rim she said "oh it's on there." So much for presentation.

Wifey and I went out to dinner here on a Tuesday night 12/10/24. Located at Norterra shopping center with tons of parking and ample handicap parking situated as close as you can get to the front door. We were seated promptly and was greeted by Ramon, an amazing and friendly manager. Our server was Jasmine who was very attentive and on point with our food and drinks. Ambience here is romantic and artsy great for date night or business meals with professional colleagues. Beautiful tables with chairs and booth seating designed for Asian theme decor. Full bar is near the front of the restaurant. So we've been to PF Changs before in different locations (Los Angeles and Honolulu) and this is high end Chinese/Japanese fusion. Food here is very high quality and served with great presentation. Never a hit or miss experience as they always, always focus on consistent great food. Here's what we ordered and our feedback. Pomegranate lemonade: non alcoholic drink that was perfectly sweet, not too sweet and paired well with the flavors of the food. Great drink!! Lettuce wraps: fresh crispy lettuce served with sweet flavored chopped chicken. Our first time eating this and it was yummy, ate the whole thing Appetizer ribs: this was superb, the meat was moist and not dry at all. Flavored well and I could eat this as the main course by itself, amazing dish!! Very meaty pieces too! Crab wontons: crispy and hot, served on top a nice sweet drizzled sauce on the plate. Crunchy and tasty!! Mongolian beef: sweet and firm pieces of beef, deep fried with a sweet glaze. Prepared with chopped green onions and served with hot rice. Fantastic dish!! Sweet Honey Chicken: Tender chicken pieces with a balanced honey flavor. Excellent texture and not a dry piece on the plate. Served with hot fluffy rice. Dynamite Sushi: I didn't try this as my wife ate this and enjoyed it immensely. Next time we will order 2 orders of this instead of 1. She said it was super fresh sushi. This meal did not disappoint. Of all the times we've had PF Changs through 10+ years, we have never had a bad experience, ever. Take a date here, power business lunch or take the whole family, there will be something on the menu for everybody. Thanks to Manager Ramon and server Jasmine for your great customer hospitality and customer service!!

The first piece of lettuce on top for my lettuce wraps. I can't believe they even served this to me.

Very disappointed! We sat there for a good 7 to 8 minutes before anyone even acknowledge we were sitting there. All I ordered was the lettuce wraps which have gone downhill in the last 15 years by the way. And they were not that good and the first piece of lettuce I see is brown. Our waiter was friendly, but the overall experience was not great. We also had to sit for 20 minutes waiting for a table when there were nine empty tables and six servers in the restaurant. Much for improvement!

A must try is the orange peel chicken, A +. This is a very busy location so it can get loud during dinner but the service is still good.

The place was buzzing with loud electronic music and tons of people dining -- I think because the ceiling is so high the noise is amplified. Because it was so busy it took a while for the server to come over but he did with waters which was nice but then the menus are all on QR codes -- which is annoying because it is hard to look at everything and because the menu is very confusing it would have been nice to see everything on paper. The menu is confusing because the selections are very odd -- I thought it was a mexican-asian/sushi fusion restaurant -- which I guess it is but it was still really hard to create the best food experience when I couldn't see everything available. My friend was hungry so she immediately put in an order for calamari and I was being called to order the blood orange margarita slushie. When the margarita came it was like nothing I have ever seen before. It looked more like a milkshake or like a creamsicle. I dove in thinking it would be too sweet but it was actually quite delicious and I sucked it back in a second! Also I put in an order for the edamame which sounded really good in the description -- "woodfired" and spicy miso butter -- but when they came they were really spicy and the woodfired element was making me cough, strangely enough -- I couldn't finish them! Finally after waiting forever we got the drinks and apps. It then took another 15 minutes to order our food. Again it was busy and my friend and I were catching up so it wasn't a big deal. We wanted a fairly light dinner so we just ordered one roll -- the Fuego, which had yellowtail and a whitefish, chili, cilantro and cucumber plus a pico de gallo on top -- it was very flavorful -- although a bit spicy for those who are spice wimps like me. Overall, thought it was a good meal but wasn't blown away.

Tonight we went back again, my daughter was in town for a few days and wanted to go again. The food was amazing, just like the last time we went. The service was awful, My opinion is people are on top of their game when it's busy. Tonight wasn't busy, so a lot of time for the staff to stand around and talk. Started out they were out of one cocktails on the menu and another one they feature on the specials board. I understand that you run out of items, just was odd for a Friday night. We got are first round of drinks they were great, appetizers came and amazing also. We had finished our appetizers and sat there for a bit while the staff carried on a conversation with the kitchen staff, until they realized we were looking their way. She came over and took our order for dinner. Once again the food was great and full of flavor. I had finished my first drink and the server picked it up my glass and walked away. Not overly annoyed, but two things one as a severe you should ask if you want another drink and two the restaurant is losing money by not asking if you want another drink which is one of the most marked up item in a restaurant. She finally came back around and I ordered another drink. After the drink was made it sat on the bar for a bit while they continued to have a conversation with the kitchen staff some more. During this time two of us had finished our water as they continued to have a conversation. Finally she looked up and went over and brought the drink over, as she started to walked away, we asked if we could get more water. My wife and daughter would have had another drink, but didn't want to sit and wait for it at this point. After the check came, she walked by a few times to see if it was ready to cash out, I felt that was the most she came by the entire evening. Didn't let this turn you off from going, the food was delicious both times. Maybe they were losing track of time based on it wasn't overly busy and felt they had everything covered. We will go back again, like I said maybe it was just an off night for the service staff.

The beef was a little more well done than I prefer, but everything was packed with flavor. Portions were generous, presentation was beautiful, and overall, the food was delicious. Most dishes averaged around $20, which felt very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. And a special shoutout to Keith - his service was fantastic throughout the entire meal! Great atmosphere, flavorful food, generous portions, and excellent service. We'll definitely be back!

They've only been open for 5 months and having intelligently kept the menu tight so they can execute every item well. On this visit, we were welcomed with a warm hello! We decided to order the popcorn chicken with Thai basil, Gua Bao (now called Bao Buns on the or newest menu), spicy wontons, and green milk tea w/boba. While we were waiting, a group of Taiwanese customers entered the cafe and their conversation instantly warmed my heart. To hear Taiwanese mandarin like this was not something I had expected when I moved from SoCal to Phoenix 18 years ago. Onto the food: perfect popcorn chicken with DARK meat! Well seasoned, and not overly battered. The Gua Baos were the STARS of this visit. Soft and warm steamed bread encased perfectly braised thick pork belly slices. The addition of pickled veggies and sugared peanut powder told me the owners are DEFINITELY Taiwanese. Every bite was perfectly balanced with salty, sweety, umami flavors. The spicy wontons were good as well, although the skins seemed a little thicker than I am used to. The sauce was garlicky deliciousness. Their green milk tea was flavorful and perfect at 50% sweet, with light ice. The boba was on the larger side and probably had been sitting for a while, as they weren't as chewy they should be. Next time, will try their custard pudding add-on! I'm so happy to have stumbled upon a gathering place for Taiwanese nationals in Phoenix! So grateful for Owl Owl's presence and I hope they continue to expand their menu and keep their standards high. Looking forward to our next visit, where we'll try their heartier fare, like the bowls and beef noodle soup!
