Had a bad experience here years ago and haven't been back since but stopped by today because I was at the mall with my daughter and she wanted sushi. I can't believe they were ok with sending this out.. some of the pieces were just rice. We waited over 20 min for this and a bowl of lo mein, even though there were no other customers in the restaurant. My daughter was starving and ok with it so I didn't complain. Hard to see myself coming back. Service was pretty terrible - had to wait a long time for our drinks, and no proactive refills + forgot our orders once or twice. The individuals delivering our food were more concerned with dropping it off quickly vs. asking who ordered what, leading to a bit of a reshuffling several times. The tables were uneven and dirty when we arrived, so when I asked them to wipe them down again, some of the hot water we ordered spilled onto the guests. The actual food was so-so I guess. Nothing was really bad but it's kind of Panda Express quality but 30% more expensive. The Taiwanese fried chicken was a total ripoff - cafeteria chicken fingers quality for nearly $20. Finally, cleanliness was an issue. Dirty napkins on the floor when we arrived, table wasn't wiped down, floors were greasy and sticky. Not an inspiring place to eat, despite the pretty nifty decor. Ordered the Mongolian dish 3 ways. Shrimp, chicken and beef. It only came one way- chicken. (Maybe there were two pieces of beef.) It was accompanied by cold, undercooked, flavorless broccoli and dry, undercooked. cold brown rice. (Maybe the chef had the night off.) The very limited beer list had no prices on the menu. This was a negative experience and a weird one today... The server was friendly and polite, for the most part, and was apologetic. I'm not sure who is to blame for this bad experience. I ordered an appetizer (dumplings) and a chicken entree today for lunch... The chicken came out after about 15 minutes, which is a reasonable timeframe, of course... I was expecting the appetizer first but was understanding and said nothing, hey maybe it'll come shortly. Which defeats the purpose of an appetizer, it should come separately before the entree, but I was willing to roll with it. I was mostly done with the chicken entree when the server checked in with me and then I asked about the dumplings. About 15 minutes later, and about 10 minutes after I finished the entree, the appetizer arrived. So I ultimately don't know if it's the server's fault or the kitchen but certainly the server could've refilled my coke (never offered and the glass was empty) or offered me some kind of discount off the bill because of this mix-up and she did not. They were disgusting. I stripped them of the batter and ate them with the sauce which was spicy but good. The Kung Pao beef...was okay I'm not sure what kind of sauce it was cooked in but mediocre at best it was too overwhelming with the sesame seeds. My wife and grandson ate here around 3:00pm on a Saturday afternoon. We asked to be seated in a booth in a corner as we were with our 3 year old grandson. He enjoyed the crayons and colored feverishly while we waited for our food. The restaurant was nice and had good ambiance. Service was fine, although our waiter forgot about my glass of wine order until my wife mentioned it as he passed by. He apologized and brought it within a minute as we were seated close to the bar in a lovely booth. The food arrived, we ordered Kung Pao Shrimp and Mongolian Beef with both white and brown rice and a side of LoMien. My grandson had the kids LoMien with Chicken and Broccoli. He loved the dish and ate almost all of it. The problem was with our order. The LoMien was flavorless but when mixed with some of the sauce from the Mongolian Beef it was the only thing edible. The Kung Pao Shirmp was just a few minutes from being burnt. It was dry and had no sauce so to speak. The Mongolian Beef was tough and a really hard chew. The last time I had these dishes at another location years ago, they were fantastic. Today they were wretched. Not sure is this is the status of all PF Chang's now or just this one, but I'll never eat here again. read more

Service was terrible, took over 15 minutes just to see our waiter show up. We placed our drink order and appetizer order at the same time, the kitchen quicker than the bar. Our overcooked ribs sat at the table 10 minutes before ONE glass of wine showed up. My warm sake was taking longer because it was not warm enough, when it finally arrived 10 minutes later it was ice cold. We made the mistake of reordering different drinks and needless to say our drinks and appetizer break turned into a 2.5 hour ordeal. And you probably don't have to walk to SoHo in the rain to find PF Chang's, because they are in all 50 states. We found one in the Natick Mall Saturday night and enjoyed a leisurely meal that was great. We started off with our usual two soups, Won Ton for my wife and Hot & Sour for me ($7 each). The Won Ton was surprisingly filled with shrimp and chicken and was excellent. The H&S was loaded with tender tofu cubes and egg threads swimming in a flavorful spicy broth. Both were a great way to start our dinner. We decided to share an appetizer and an entrée. The appetizer was Chang's Lettuce Wraps ($15.25) with minced chicken, garlic, scallion, sesame oil, iceberg lettuce, and crispy rice sticks. The entrée was Chicken with Broccoli ($19) served with a ginger-garlic sauce, sliced green onions and white rice. The food was fantastic and so were the portion sizes. I think we had four lettuce wraps each and the minced chicken and dipping sauce were delicious. Ditto on the chicken and broccoli and the serving was so much that over half of it came back with us. There are improvement opportunities with the service. Our server was mediocre, never gave us a checkback or refilled water. The hostess stand was dysfunctional as three employees seemed befuddled as to who was helping us and where we were going to sit! read more

I came once before quite a while ago and wasn't impressed. I was in the Natick Mall and my friend wanted to go as she's been not long ago with her friends and liked it. It's big and very clean and very nice decorations. We sat near a window and got a view of outside which was pleasant. I didn't know what to get. I was going in thinking I would not care much for the food after my first experience being just okay. We got the crab Rangoon and lettuce wrap for appetizers. I have to say both were very good. My only complaint was the quantity wasn't bigger. I really enjoy them as they were tasty and the sauces that came were good. I really recommend the lettuce wrap that comes with lots of lettuce where you put the chicken and noddles in it. So refreshing in the summer to have. Then we got the sesame chicken that comes with some vegetables like onions, red peppers and broccoli, with rice. Again, I was blown away. I usually order this chicken when I do Chinese food but this sesame chicken is the best I've had! Tasty, very tender and they don't give knives. Only forks and chop sticks. But you didn't need a knife to cut the chicken. Highly recommend. Wish the portions were bigger because it is on the pricy side. But I enjoyed it very much! So glad I came with a friend who knew what to order. Side note: sesame chicken was my idea as my friend before had another chicken here she loved. So my choice here was adored! We have been discussing this at our table while waiting 27 minutes for a server to return to the table - this is perhaps the worst dining experience of our lives. There were nine tables with dirty dishes as we walked in, and I totally get being short staffed, but time to turn folks away if you can't accommodate. The food arrived slowly; we waited for water and forks/chopsticks until well after the food arrived. We are currently eating dry popcorn chicken because I asked for the sauce on the side and it has yet to arrive. In the time that we have been sitting at our table, none of the tables have been bussed, so we are now surrounded by dirty dishes and zero servers. I think we will head to the bar to pay our bill since no one is coming back. So disappointing because we were reliving our glory days of college by trying PFChangs again. But certainly not better than the slightly better quality Asian places that are scattered all over, at least where I live. So I don't see what the fuss is all about. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The only positive was our server, who was clearly doing his best while being the only one running around handling six or more tables it was obvious the restaurant was severely understaffed, and that is not his fault. The food, however, was far below expectations. The kung pao chicken was so hard it felt like rocks I couldn't even get a fork into it. Just getting water took an additional 20 minutes. We asked if appetizers could come with our entrees and check all at once. Appetizers came, and they forgot my drink order. Haven't been to a PF Chang's in a few years , so we did not know what to expect. I forget our server's name, but she was really good. We ordered: Crispy Green beans: the flavor as well as the crunch was on point. We loved the dish 4/5. Singapore Street Noodles: We ordered this with Tofu. It was definitely our favorite dish. Jam packed with flavor, the portion was a good size. 4.5/5 Budha's Feast: This was such a flop! The veggies were literally raw and the sauce was just meh. 1/5. The restaurant was pretty dirty actually. There was a weird smell in the air and the spaces around the tables on the sides and the floor were full of food and spider webs. This particular time however, this bartender (woman with black hair - kinda tall) made me a Smoky Japanese Old Fashioned. Brings me the drink and yanks the cover off. I didn't say anything but WTF, I'll take it off when I'm damn well good and ready. Strike one! Then when it's time to pay, I giver her a twenty and she asks if I need change. I hate that shit. Strike 2! When the hell did this become a thing? You want almost $7 tip for one drink? I said yes and she walked around for 5 minutes, then goes back to the register. My drink was long done. Another minute and she looks back at me and says my change will be ready in a few minutes. The lettuce wraps were very good...the rest of the meals were ok, but not great. They upcharged me $10 because my kids got fried rice instead of white rice, but there wasn't any meat in it.... so that felt like a ridiculous uncharge. I frankly don't know why I keep going back to PF Chang's even after not enjoying it a lot. There is something about this restaurant that pulls you towards it. Anyway, here I am writing a review about the PF Chang's in the Natick Mall. The ambience is extremely good! The chairs, tables are comfortable. The staff gets you water, drinks, menus etc, usual stuff. I think the menu at PF Chang's is overrated. Not a lot of variety, not many healthy choices and expensive! I don't mind spending money on good food, but I don't really enjoy spending money on average food that's overpriced because of fancy decor. For me, ambience is important, but NOT important than the food. I guess now I understood why I keep going back and keep getting disappointed. They have spent too much on the decor, I wish they start taking their food seriously. Don't get me wrong, the food is not bad. All I'm saying is that it's not worth the price.
