String Crispy Green Beans

The food we ordered were very average. Although, The service was fine at the table. Were seated immediately without a reservation.

Hard to see myself coming back. Service was pretty terrible - had to wait a long time for our drinks, and no proactive refills + forgot our orders once or twice. The individuals delivering our food were more concerned with dropping it off quickly vs. asking who ordered what, leading to a bit of a reshuffling several times. The tables were uneven and dirty when we arrived, so when I asked them to wipe them down again, some of the hot water we ordered spilled onto the guests. The actual food was so-so I guess. Nothing was really bad but it's kind of Panda Express quality but 30% more expensive. The Taiwanese fried chicken was a total ripoff - cafeteria chicken fingers quality for nearly $20. Finally, cleanliness was an issue. Dirty napkins on the floor when we arrived, table wasn't wiped down, floors were greasy and sticky. Not an inspiring place to eat, despite the pretty nifty decor. Menus were dirty too. The disposable printout dessert menus had stains and the reusable dinner and drinks menus had grease stains too.

The kitchen was overwhelmed on this particular night and IT SHOWED !!!! Okay!!!!!! Let's get right to the food. Ordered the chili garlic green beans, they brought me the fried green bean. They were disgusting. I stripped them of the batter and ate them with the sauce which was spicy but good. The Kung Pao beef...was okay I'm not sure what kind of sauce it was cooked in but mediocre at best it was too overwhelming with the sesame seeds. Pedro our waiter was Phenomenal He kept checking in on us and through it all he had patience even though he was serving a lot of people including our party of 7 The music was perfect. Drowning out other peoples conversation but still low enough that we heard each other at the dinner table. Thank you so much.

The most overcooked dry Northern-Style Pork Spare Ribs I have ever had in a PF Changs

Service was terrible, took over 15 minutes just to see our waiter show up. We placed our drink order and appetizer order at the same time, the kitchen quicker than the bar. Our overcooked ribs sat at the table 10 minutes before ONE glass of wine showed up. My warm sake was taking longer because it was not warm enough, when it finally arrived 10 minutes later it was ice cold. We made the mistake of reordering different drinks and needless to say our drinks and appetizer break turned into a 2.5 hour ordeal. Never saw one manager or supervisor on the floor to discuss this terrible service and food with. I will say the crispy spring rolls were very good. Also the music level and interior were relaxing. Never returning to this location again.

"I saw werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand Walking through the streets of SoHo in the rain He was looking for the place called Lee Ho Fooks Gonna get a big dish of beef chow mein" (Warren Zevon) If you've ever held a P F Chang's menu in your hand, you've probably noticed it's a pretty impressive menu with some interesting choices like kung pao brussels sprouts, Asian Caesar salad, miso glazed salmon, a Great Wall of Chocolate, and banana spring rolls. And you probably don't have to walk to SoHo in the rain to find PF Chang's, because they are in all 50 states. We found one in the Natick Mall Saturday night and enjoyed a leisurely meal that was great. We started off with our usual two soups, Won Ton for my wife and Hot & Sour for me ($7 each). The Won Ton was surprisingly filled with shrimp and chicken and was excellent. The H&S was loaded with tender tofu cubes and egg threads swimming in a flavorful spicy broth. Both were a great way to start our dinner. We decided to share an appetizer and an entrée. The appetizer was Chang's Lettuce Wraps ($15.25) with minced chicken, garlic, scallion, sesame oil, iceberg lettuce, and crispy rice sticks. The entrée was Chicken with Broccoli ($19) served with a ginger-garlic sauce, sliced green onions and white rice. The food was fantastic and so were the portion sizes. I think we had four lettuce wraps each and the minced chicken and dipping sauce were delicious. Ditto on the chicken and broccoli and the serving was so much that over half of it came back with us. There are improvement opportunities with the service. Our server was mediocre, never gave us a checkback or refilled water. The hostess stand was dysfunctional as three employees seemed befuddled as to who was helping us and where we were going to sit!

I came once before quite a while ago and wasn't impressed. I was in the Natick Mall and my friend wanted to go as she's been not long ago with her friends and liked it. It's big and very clean and very nice decorations. We sat near a window and got a view of outside which was pleasant. I didn't know what to get. I was going in thinking I would not care much for the food after my first experience being just okay. We got the crab Rangoon and lettuce wrap for appetizers. I have to say both were very good. My only complaint was the quantity wasn't bigger. I really enjoy them as they were tasty and the sauces that came were good. I really recommend the lettuce wrap that comes with lots of lettuce where you put the chicken and noddles in it. So refreshing in the summer to have. Then we got the sesame chicken that comes with some vegetables like onions, red peppers and broccoli, with rice. Again, I was blown away. I usually order this chicken when I do Chinese food but this sesame chicken is the best I've had! Tasty, very tender and they don't give knives. Only forks and chop sticks. But you didn't need a knife to cut the chicken. Highly recommend. Wish the portions were bigger because it is on the pricy side. But I enjoyed it very much! So glad I came with a friend who knew what to order. Side note: sesame chicken was my idea as my friend before had another chicken here she loved. So my choice here was adored! I will be back when in the Natick Mall. You must try it and you will like it. I guess second time is a charm!

Horrible service. Once we were seated it took about 15 minutes for our server to even come over and take our drink order so we ordered all food at once. Just getting water took an additional 20 minutes. We asked if appetizers could come with our entrees and check all at once. Appetizers came, and they forgot my drink order. Once our food finally came after 45 additional minutes, they forgot 1 of the four orders and the server had to ask for clarification on it. 2 of the orders were cold. Once it came it was wrong. The chicken was served on the crispy noodles with rice rather than with lo mein noodles. Food quality left a lot to be desired.

Example of how we inconvenienced our bar tender/ waitress she could not have been more rude

So used to the Farmington/ west Hartford Ct PF Chang's unfortunately we had the rudest bar tender to order our drinks food, she was very busy on her phone and leaving the bar. She had a total attitude of contempt, never asked us how anything was, never checked to see if we needed anything, too too busy and she told us this but the place was empty we

Stopped in for lunch. Ordered a lunch special of chicken…read moreteriyaki, boneless ribs, egg roll, pork fried rice. Ordered appetizer of pork dumplings pan fried .. Fresh , and good value . The egg roll was excellent and nice crisp crunch, ingredients fresh and had a nice flavor. The chicken teriyaki was one of best I have had elsewhere. It was marinated and velvet tender. I assume a curry marinade maybe as was tasty. Boneless ribs were over cooked and reheated as shown in my picture. The pork fried rice was loaded with diced pork . The pork dumplings were fresh ingredients, but the dumpling exterior shells was the too hard shell type vs a soft noodle type. But the pork dumplings were excellent ingredients. It was as excellent lunch and priced fair and reasonable.

So I will admit that my attention to the details of my food was less than it could have been. One of the privileges of being a Yelp reviewer is that when the people you are eating with are boring, You can tune them out using the excuse that you are thinking about what you are going to say for your Yelp review. This has been a lifesaver for me more times than I can count. There was no need for this in Natick where the people I was with were amazing. That said - we did eat food. In this case food off the Chinese side of the menu. Everything was good. There are probably at least 200 places you can get American Chinese like this in the Greater Boston area. But there is no need to pass on Shanghai and Tokyo looking for something else. They are completely reliable.

First few visits back after they reopened after fire damage were good. All weeknight dinner visits…read more -- Har Gow: Shrimp dumplings fresh and flavorful, but the vessels were so gummy they stuck to each other and the serving tin. Average. -- Beef Teriyaki: A four-stick serving had bumpy, lightly-charred and lightly sweet surfaces, along with good tenderness underneath. Decent marinade flavor. Above average to well above average. -- Mongolian Beef: An outstanding presentation of beef slivers thick enough to be tender, while also getting nicely crisp and a vigorous flavor superior to the teriyaki. Scallions added some extra kick in addition to the sauce. Really good feel and really good taste bring it really close to elite. -- Pork Fried Rice: Lovers of dark pork fried rice are in for a treat, because this is among the darkest and has dark flavor to match. Fresh, hot, not a reheat, and not sitting for hours. I could do without the peas, but all of the other additions-- egg, onion, bean sprouts, and big chunks of fresh pork-- were top notch. A benchmark rice if you're into this style. Elite. -- Chicken with Ginger and Scallion: Long and winding chicken with good tenderness and noticeable ginger flavor, with bold scallions the unsung hero. Closer to a very good dish than a great dish, but bonus points for being neither sweet nor spicy, but still bringing plenty of flavor. -- Chicken Fried Rice: Another example of bold, dark, fresh-cooked rice, this time with chicken. I was expecting shreds and got finger-length pieces that were much more impressive. Elite. -- Boneless Ribs: Lightly lacquered with shiny cross sections, so they were moist, but a bit fatty. Above average for sure, but not elite or close like some other dishes. -- Chicken Fingers: Fresh, hot, and crisp, with some small ones less dazzling, but most pleased. Good meat-to-batter ratio. Optional sweet and sour sauce add-on did dazzle, coming in sweet but dark ruby color and complex. Not your daddy's sauce; this didn't have pineapples and cherries but it did have more flavor. -- Chicken Teriyaki: Charring, coating, tenderness, juiciness, and marinade all combined to make this one of the better renditions. Well above average to near elite. -- Yuen Yang Beef: Very impressive dish, from the quantity, to the textures (perfect on both the beef and the bed of string beans), to the flavors (savory-tingly on the beef, though without much heat, and gingery on the string beans). -- Duck Sauce: Barely a variation from straight apple sauce. Not a strength. Only negative on service is that sometimes one server handles the entire dining room, so there might be waits, but even still, service is always friendly and efficient. This place sometimes gets a bad rap for being expensive, but I believe the quality warrants the prices and that there's good value thanks to execution and consistency.
