I have had PF Changs on Waikiki Beach. PF Changs at Victoria Gardens multiple times and PF Chang's at Spring Valley in Henderson and I order the same thing shrimp fried rice. The shrimp fried rice I had at this location taste like it was thrown on the floor and left under the refrigerator for 2 days and then serve to me . That was the worst $14 I ever spent. We arrived late in Augusta, and needed to find something close to the hotel for dinner. PF Chang's isn't my favorite restaurant, but they tend to be pretty standard regardless of the location. Mixed feelings about this place. I really wanted to like this place. The interior design is beautiful and upscale. Just walking in, you get the feeling you are in for something good. We arrived a little before 7pm on a Thursday night. There were a few other customers but not many. We were promptly shown to a booth and given menus. It took a while for the waitress to take our drink order and even longer for her to take our entree orders. We took her suggestion and ordered 2eggrolls. We ate those rather quickly. Our entrees did not come out until 8:35. There were only two of us. There were two other tables in view and both of them had been served. I don't know what in the world took so long. We ate in a hurry because we had to be back at a mall store before 9pm. During that 2hours we were there, we had to repeatedly ask for drink refills. We had to ask for the table and seats to be cleaned. Our waitress spent a lot of time talking to other people. All in all it wasn't a pleasant experience. The food she described as sweet was actually spicy to us. So, the poor service and the rushed eating give me no reason to return. read more

Ordered take out during the pandemic. When I ordered online it told me it would only take 5min from the time I ordered it to the time it would be ready. 5 minutes? That is wild. I was shocked and then happy.... until I got my food. $50 dollars later and my food tasted like reheated food from earlier this week. Fried rice was dry and hard. Chicken wasn't even spicy or what even seemed like the description written on the menu. The pad Thai was horrific-- the chicken seemed old, the tofu had an odd smell and taste. Curbside pickup service was scary fast. Food was ok, but wontons were undercooked. Biggest problem was with my wife's order of Mongolian beef - the restaurant was out of beef (really?) and substituted shrimp. No phone call to ask what would be a desired substitute. Could be an issue for someone with a seafood allergy. We'll be looking for a different Asian carry-out. read more

I noticed that PF Chang is becoming more asian fusion instead of a gourmet Chinese restaurant. Since the wide adaptation of other asian cuisine, the attention to detail and flavor in food has been a huge let down. Lately, I've felt that my food was more quantity over quality. The pile of fried lobster & shrimp next to a pile fried rice I had to day for example, was very bland and the meat was not cut properly. There was a huge piece with big cut marks on it but was not cut all the way. The fried batter was very tasteless and the appearance of the 'pile' resemble to Captain D's fast food chain. The fried rice lacked black pepper and white pepper which explained the lack of flavoring. But the good thing is that I do have to say their food at least taste very fresh. Their lettuce wraps were still amazing as always, and I do want to give them the credit for that. I did asked the server to blend in the lobster and the shrimp for me, which he did offer me to remake my meal. However, blending the meat with the rice still came out to lack flavor and the huge portion really made me full quick but dissatisfied. PF Chang is giving me an impression that it's going towards americanized food instead of authentic gourmet Chinese cuisine. Restaurants have to cater to the public liking, I guess that's they have to make the change, but they will lose guests like me who still pay attention to authenticity. read more

WORST MEAL EVER. Ordered takeout. Just moved here from California where we went to P.F. Chang's often. This Augusta restaurant is a sorry excuse for a P.F. Chang's. We both ordered the vegetable lo menu & it was 99.9 % RAW VEGETABLES. You had to search for a noodle. A NOODLE. There was NO SAUCE at all on either one. HAD NO TASTE WHATSOEVER. First time back in a long time glad I gave them another try. The dishes came to the table one of them was dried out the chicken was overlooked. We had a very professional waitress her name is Libbie she could feel that something was wrong we were not going to say anything and just not come again. She asked us 3 times in 30 seconds what's the problem please let me know so we told her. She had the main cook recook our 1 dish that was bad. Face of Greedy and Bias Restaurant I and my hubby went dine in. we were immediately seated near front table. There was a group of about 15 people after us. They were seated as well. Our server started serving water and taking orders of that group while for 15 minutes, I and my hubby were waiting just for the glass of water. This has to be one of our worst experiences here. Not very busy but it took the hostess a good 10 minutes to acknowledge our presence. They have made their menu a lot smaller. Waitress was okay. Ordered Kung Pao Chicken with fried rice. Fried rice was luke warm. Kung Pao was extra spicy. Usually I can handle it. Husband for Shanghai Street noodles and it was super oily. Excellent service from Halley. We had spicy shrimp & lettuce wraps as appetizers, both good but bang bang shrimp are better. My wife loved the lettuce wraps. She then had the Chilean Sea Bass which she said was fantastic. I had the Korean BBQ Chicken & it was very good. The dessert was excellent, included pineapple/coconut ice cream. I had lunch here recently. The Walnut Shrimp with Melon and steamed rice really hit the spot. The atmosphere is like all PF Chang's; kind of dark, but this does make for a feeling of privacy. This location was clean and well run. I have eaten at several PF Chang's around the country and I must say their food is very consistent in quality and presentation. We had 25 people, and we called for reservations ahead of time. They sat us within 5 minutes of arriving, and we were in and out in less than two hours. Everyone was so nice and helpful, and the food was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are coming through town. Very nice people! The atmosphere is really nice, whether you're sitting at the bar or in a booth. I mainly order appetizers only & I love to order a pot of green tea with my meals. This used to be one of my favorite places: I don't know what happened. It's not as clean and tidy as it used to be. It's more like a fast food restaurant with over-priced food nowadays. There's no need to attempt to give me a subpar seat in an empty restaurant...and how about I just had to send some dirty dinner plates back to the kitchen (just now). The server was new, but cool. I would give this zero stars if I could. This is the first time I ordered at PF Changs. I had heard good things about it, but my experience was otherwise. I ordered Crab Wontons and Sweet/Sour Chicken for takeout. Well I am going to admit it was my mistake not to inspect the food before leaving, I got home to find that there was no rice included with my takout whatsoever. Fine. Bad. Worse was the crab wontons appeared (and subsequently validated) that someone forgot to take them out of the fryer on time, they were as close to black as you can get them. Needless to say I tossed my whole meal, which was a waste of $20.22. I will never eat at this establishment again and recommend other options when friends bring it up as a suggestion. Horrible food. Today was my first time here, but not my last. My daughter brought me here for a birthday dinner and I came in not feeling very well, we picked a high top in the bar area and I am glad we did because Kerri (hope I spelled it right) was our bartender/server and she was one of the best I have ever had anywhere. My daughter and I both work in the food and beverage industry and we noticed how laid back & professional she was.. quick witted, and bubbly and made the best drinks. A typical chain restaurant. I came in for a quick meal, which turned into a long meal. I sat in the bar area to be served quickly. We were the only individuals in that area, so I thought I would be in and out. For an appetizer I ordered lettuce wraps, which took roughly 30 minutes to received. They were delicious, but took way too long. Our meal came out within minutes after so, I feel the bartender placed all of the items together. I hate when a meal comes out within minutes of the appetizer. Additionally, I don't know If the bartender was in training, but she seemed to have little to no interest in her customers. Came with friends for a quick lunch. Our server, Marcus, was very attentive to our table. Hubs ordered the Miso Glazed Salmon. He said the salmon was cooked to a nice medium temperature (his preference), but the bok choy was under done. The leaves were wilted, but the stem was still too raw for consumption. Tot had the kids Lo Mein with carrots. She ate about half the plate before being full (yay for to go boxes). I sampled a small bite and it was well seasoned. I ordered the Beef Sichuan with brown rice. The beef was slightly crisp with a nice heat to it. Loved the crisp slices of celery and shaved carrot. I did not like that my serving was hiding by a small mountain of green onions. I love green onions, but it was a lot. We also shared an appetizer of crab wonton that were very yummy. Nice crisp exterior, good plum sauce, subtle crab taste on the inside. All in all a good meal and great service. read more
