We decided to travel to Augusta to visit Chang's as the food is always good. As soon as we arrived and asked the hostess to be seated in a booth...she responded with " I don't have servers for booths at this time". Meanwhile, there were people seated at different booths. Once we were seated in the middle of the dinning room, other people that arrived were seated in the booth area! That was within 2-3 minutes after seating us down. I came here with a suspicious opinion given that this was my first time coming. I ordered the chicken egg roles and was blown away by the smell alone. It tasted like heaven wrapped into a crispy flakey shell. Next I ordered the orange peel chicken which was just the right amount of flavor. Everything started out great- we arrived around 4:30, the restaurant wasn't crowded, we were seated immediately and a server took our drink orders and appetizer order quickly. Things were all downhill from there. The appetizer arrived but no drink. Appetizer eaten, still no drink. I was about to go to look for our server when I saw him coming with my margarita- he apologized and said he couldn't find the bartender, which sounded odd to me. After about 20 minutes our server came by, apologized that our orders weren't ready yet and said they were working on it- that seemed strange because there were only 7-8 tables with customers in the entire place another 10 minutes. I asked for another margarita and... waited, and waited, and.... after another 10 minutes he brought out my meal and said my wife's would be out in just a few minutes. We had been there for 45 minutes by this time so I said I'd share with my wife until hers arrived- one bite and I couldn't eat any more. It was luke-warm and tasted as though it had been sitting on the counter for some time. When the server came by I asked him to please heat it up or microwave it or something, it was nearly cold. This was really weird because I ordered the Monday night special, mongolian beef- nothing special. Our server came back in 5 minutes with another plate and my wife's still wasn't done. At that point my wife went to the front to ask for the manager. I waited and waited for her (second drink order still hadn't been brought out) and finally had enough. I went to the front and ask what was going on, it turned out they couldn't find the manager. That was enough for me, I said pay them for the drink and let's go. My wife waited for the manager, however, and detailed what had happened. I have no idea what's going on at that place but after reading some of the reviews on yelp and google our experience seems like a trend that's started fairly recently. I'd suspect a change in ownership or managers, but whatever it is needs to be fixed. I've eaten at several PF Changs and have never seen one like this. read more

ok, here I go! Went for Mother's Day dinner with my daughter and young Granddaughter. We were seated right away as we had a reservation. Didn't really need one because restaurant wasn't busy. We ordered right away as we knew what we wanted. My daughter's salad and entree came out quickly as did my granddaughter's soup. Then we waited...and waited...and waited for my Granddaughter's kids lo-mein (simple dish...right?) and my sweet and sour chicken. My daughter finished her food and cocktail and ours was still not out. 45 minutes goes by still no food or service. My granddaughter is hungry and very fussy. At this point I ask for the bill and cancelled the two meals. I took my credit card to the counter to pay because God knows how long that would have taken at the table. They did apologize and give a discount off my daughter's food. Thanks for that. Oh did I mention the GROSS DIRTY STICKY TABLE. The whole restaurant was gross. I will never be back. The food was a 5, I'll start with that. But the terrible hostess is why my review is so low. When we walked in tonight, we immediately regretted it. I have a newborn and we were pushing him in his stroller. Instead of greeting us the hostess working on December 21st at around 4-5, decided to look at us and go "Um you can leave that stroller here" in a snobby and rude tone. I kindly told her that we couldn't. I get that there has to be a certain allowed space around tables for services to get through, but no one was there! We could easily sit in the back away from everyone. She proceeded to say "ugh okay whatever put them all the way in the back." Not really the way you want to be talked to when spending 100+ dollars on dinner. I truly hope she either gets fired or re-trained. read more

My wife and I stopped in a couple weeks ago for a nice dinner out. Unfortunately we didn't even get to have a meal. After we were seated, nobody came to our table for the first 15 minutes. So by the time our waitress showed up, we not only gave her our drink order, but also our food order. Thirty minutes later I'm having to flag her down, so I could ask for another drink, as she had not bothered to stop in again after dropping off the first round. Twenty more minutes pass, when we simply say this is too much. I get up and tell the hostess that we'll just take our meal to go, as the service is anything but service. I explain that we'd already been there over an hour, and we can't get our server to even acknowledge us. A manager then comes to address me, and tells me he will personally see to it that our order is bagged up. After standing there for 20 more minutes, I leave my phone number and walk out. He calls as I'm driving away, and says he'll meet me at the door with my food. I drive around to the front, he's not there. So I walk inside and they have no idea where he is, nor anything about where our food is. I decide I've had enough, so we leave. I get a call from him later, asking for our address, so he can send us gift cards. A day or two later I receive another call from someone else, asking for our address again, where she explains that the MGR wants to send us gift cards. Well it's been roughly about three weeks now, and we have yet to hear from them again. It's unfortunate when you get bad service from the server, it's even worse when the management can't even follow through, to mitigate the situation. read more

My husband decided to treat me and my 2 ladies (2,4) to dinner tonight. We had a reservation and were seated very quickly. After that....it took 20 minutes to get our drinks (they were also out of sake, which is odd, but ok). Because of COVID, we are separated, so I'm not sure how many tables my servers had, but the service was lackluster at best. The food was prompt, once the order was in. I ordered ramen....I was already wary of doing so w a chain restaurant, but I love Ramen, so I went with it. My bowl came out and it looked incredibly soupy, but I dug in for the noodles. Ramen is meant to be slurped up, with LONG noodles. Everything in my bowl was an inch long, having to use a spoon to find the noodles. I sent it back and didn't ask for anything additional. We had several other dishes....beef and broccoli (the ginger was over powering) and the fried rice was lack luster. We also had one of their sushi rolls that I would never recommend, and had the calamari/veggie tempura....which was nothing but grease. The shrimp w lobster sauce was the only dish worth eating. We, my husband and I, have gone to pf changs several times as the atmosphere is great,, hoping for a good experience, but each time....we leave disappointed. I haven't been here in about a year so it seemed time for a revisit, plus we were at the mall and hungry. I had the ahi poke bowl, and my husband had the spicy chicken soup (which we were warned serves 6 so we had plenty to take home) and also an order of lettuce wraps. I tried one of their non-alcoholic drinks, the coconut cooler, which was delicious. Side note-I wish more places would offer non-alcoholic specialty drinks. Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I only want to be able to choose between soda, tea, lemonade or water. My poke bowl was delicious but a bit confusing to eat. It had big wonton chips on the side so I tried to eat it like chips and dip but the seaweed salad made it a bit difficult. In any case, it was very tasty and my husband said his soup was really good. Our server, Chris, was an absolute delight and warm, friendly and took excellent care of us. I have had PF Changs on Waikiki Beach. PF Changs at Victoria Gardens multiple times and PF Chang's at Spring Valley in Henderson and I order the same thing shrimp fried rice. The shrimp fried rice I had at this location taste like it was thrown on the floor and left under the refrigerator for 2 days and then serve to me . That was the worst $14 I ever spent. Mixed feelings about this place. I really wanted to like this place. The interior design is beautiful and upscale. Just walking in, you get the feeling you are in for something good. We arrived a little before 7pm on a Thursday night. There were a few other customers but not many. We were promptly shown to a booth and given menus. It took a while for the waitress to take our drink order and even longer for her to take our entree orders. We took her suggestion and ordered 2eggrolls. We ate those rather quickly. Our entrees did not come out until 8:35. There were only two of us. There were two other tables in view and both of them had been served. I don't know what in the world took so long. We ate in a hurry because we had to be back at a mall store before 9pm. During that 2hours we were there, we had to repeatedly ask for drink refills. We had to ask for the table and seats to be cleaned. Our waitress spent a lot of time talking to other people. All in all it wasn't a pleasant experience. The food she described as sweet was actually spicy to us. So, the poor service and the rushed eating give me no reason to return. read more

I noticed that PF Chang is becoming more asian fusion instead of a gourmet Chinese restaurant. Since the wide adaptation of other asian cuisine, the attention to detail and flavor in food has been a huge let down. Lately, I've felt that my food was more quantity over quality. The pile of fried lobster & shrimp next to a pile fried rice I had to day for example, was very bland and the meat was not cut properly. There was a huge piece with big cut marks on it but was not cut all the way. The fried batter was very tasteless and the appearance of the 'pile' resemble to Captain D's fast food chain. The fried rice lacked black pepper and white pepper which explained the lack of flavoring. But the good thing is that I do have to say their food at least taste very fresh. Their lettuce wraps were still amazing as always, and I do want to give them the credit for that. I did asked the server to blend in the lobster and the shrimp for me, which he did offer me to remake my meal. However, blending the meat with the rice still came out to lack flavor and the huge portion really made me full quick but dissatisfied. PF Chang is giving me an impression that it's going towards americanized food instead of authentic gourmet Chinese cuisine. Restaurants have to cater to the public liking, I guess that's they have to make the change, but they will lose guests like me who still pay attention to authenticity. read more

Ordered take out during the pandemic. When I ordered online it told me it would only take 5min from the time I ordered it to the time it would be ready. 5 minutes? That is wild. I was shocked and then happy.... until I got my food. $50 dollars later and my food tasted like reheated food from earlier this week. Fried rice was dry and hard. Chicken wasn't even spicy or what even seemed like the description written on the menu. The pad Thai was horrific-- the chicken seemed old, the tofu had an odd smell and taste. All in all, they used all old ingredients to make my meals in 5minutes or they just reheated it. Super disappointed. Will not be returning again. read more

Biggest problem was with my wife's order of Mongolian beef - the restaurant was out of beef (really?) and substituted shrimp. No phone call to ask what would be a desired substitute. We both ordered the vegetable lo menu & it was 99.9 % RAW VEGETABLES. You had to search for a noodle. A NOODLE. There was NO SAUCE at all on either one. HAD NO TASTE WHATSOEVER. First time back in a long time glad I gave them another try. The dishes came to the table one of them was dried out the chicken was overlooked. We had a very professional waitress her name is Libbie she could feel that something was wrong we were not going to say anything and just not come again. She asked us 3 times in 30 seconds what's the problem please let me know so we told her. She had the main cook recook our 1 dish that was bad. The atmosphere is really nice, whether you're sitting at the bar or in a booth. I mainly order appetizers only & I love to order a pot of green tea with my meals. I had lunch here recently. The Walnut Shrimp with Melon and steamed rice really hit the spot. The atmosphere is like all PF Chang's; kind of dark, but this does make for a feeling of privacy. This location was clean and well run. I have eaten at several PF Chang's around the country and I must say their food is very consistent in quality and presentation. Excellent service from Halley. We had spicy shrimp & lettuce wraps as appetizers, both good but bang bang shrimp are better. My wife loved the lettuce wraps. She then had the Chilean Sea Bass which she said was fantastic. I had the Korean BBQ Chicken & it was very good. The dessert was excellent, included pineapple/coconut ice cream. I would give this zero stars if I could. This is the first time I ordered at PF Changs. I had heard good things about it, but my experience was otherwise. I ordered Crab Wontons and Sweet/Sour Chicken for takeout. Well I am going to admit it was my mistake not to inspect the food before leaving, I got home to find that there was no rice included with my takout whatsoever. Fine. Bad. Worse was the crab wontons appeared (and subsequently validated) that someone forgot to take them out of the fryer on time, they were as close to black as you can get them. Needless to say I tossed my whole meal, which was a waste of $20.22. I will never eat at this establishment again and recommend other options when friends bring it up as a suggestion. Horrible food. Everyone was so nice and helpful, and the food was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are coming through town. Very nice people! A typical chain restaurant. I came in for a quick meal, which turned into a long meal. I sat in the bar area to be served quickly. We were the only individuals in that area, so I thought I would be in and out. For an appetizer I ordered lettuce wraps, which took roughly 30 minutes to received. They were delicious, but took way too long. Our meal came out within minutes after so, I feel the bartender placed all of the items together. I hate when a meal comes out within minutes of the appetizer. Additionally, I don't know If the bartender was in training, but she seemed to have little to no interest in her customers. Service top of the line. Received drinks within minutes of sitting down. Appetizers arrived within five minutes of ordering, and they were great steamed potstickers were perfect. Hot and sour soup was great. The entree arrived, and I was not overly pleased. I ordered the Beef and Broccoli, and it was the sweetest sauce I ever tasted. Not certain I liked it that well.
