First time checking out the PF changs located within Augusta mall and we had an amazing dinner experience. It wasn't the menu or the entrees because it tasted about the same as any other location. It was the service quality of our waitress. I couldn't decide on my entrees and her feedback and recommendations were extremely helpful on my decision. The restaurant also has a special offer for $19.99 per person, you get 2 soup or salad, an appetizer, and 2 entrees. I think it was a sweet deal. Decided to go with the Chang's spicy chicken, fried rice, and Kung pao brussel sprouts as a side. Pairing everything with fried rice was terrific. Sauce wasn't over powering and the chicken was pretty tender. I even got the egg drop soup and it was fine, not salty compared to other places I've dined at. Overall, I loved the diversity of the menu. So many great entrees to choose from, definitely will have to come back next time to try other stuff. I'm not exactly sure what happened to P.F. Chang's but it has gone seriously down hill! We came in for my daughter's birthday and were able to be seated right away. That's the only good thing about this visit. Our "waitress" came by at least 3 times to tell us she would be right back. She took our drink order and when she was on her way back she dropped one of the drinks on the floor. It took her 25 minutes to bring back drinks for our table and that was after being reminded that we were missing them. Again, we kept hearing that she would be right with us. We were able to order food at the 45 minute mark. Tonight's visit was horrible and will likely be our last time at this P.F. Chang's. I'm not entirely sure what happened here but it's disappointing to witness how far they have fallen. read more

If it weren't for our server, Rocky, it might have been less pleasant. Even though the restaurant was only slightly populated at the time that we chose for New Year's Eve , service was a bit scattered. Given that we were separate from other diners, the noise level was conversationally comfortable. The table settings spoke of an elegance expected for a celebration to come. The food was as good as always with the exception of the sparse lettuce wraps. My whiskey old fashioned was totally as expected which is to say, perfectly good. Service was very slow. There was not a hostess to greet the customers. The patio area and the patio furniture was totally disgusting. Dog hair on seats, no sweeping was done under the tables and server took a long time to serve and return. PF Chang should do better, simple because it is one of the restaurants in the Augusta Mall outside area and should be held to higher status. It has been so many years since I've been to P.F. Chang's. We were in the area and looking for something that we could all agree upon. The kids loved the decor, so we landed here. It was getting late so we were immediately seated as we walked in. Pouring over the menu I decided on Chang's Spicy Chicken. It had great flavor with a mild heat to it. The kids greatly enjoyed their meals, as their plates were empty by the end. I was in the mood for an appetizer, but they seemed a bit pricey. Our service was good and everyone was happy. read more

Food: My wife and I ordered the Beef with Broccoli which by the way had a very delicious asian garlic sauce that I enjoyed, Pork Spare Ribs which were tender and flavorful (didn't care for the slaw that came with it) and Brussels Sprouts which my wife loved (generous with the peanuts though) I was a little disappointed with the Old Fashioned I ordered, looked more like a shot for $18. Very rarely do I feel the need to leave a review--good or bad. This was very disappointing. I did a pick up order of the orange chicken dinner special, side of rice, and a spring role. My wife ordered a "Crispy" Honey chicken dinner special, side of rice, and a spring role. We both got a bottle Coke Zero. Spent $42.92. The chicken was straight up soggy for both. You could argue that the orange chicken dinner special isn't supposed to have any crisp to it...but the CRISPY honey chicken? Both resembled the texture of pre cooked chicken that was submerged in sauce for hours--which is probably how they store it. The flavor of the orange chicken is very orange-y. I didn't hate it but didn't love it. The flavor of the crispy honey chicken didn't taste like anything that had honey on it. Tasted like a hodge-podge of random sauces. The rice was rice. Kind of hard to mess that up. The spring role was fine but it was nothing that stood out. It's very disappointing to spend $20+ per person and get home to open up what looks like a mediocre TV dinner. Not only was the taste bad, they only give you a little bit. My advice: save your money and take a trip to Dragon Express off Gordon Highway and get some solid takeout. read more

I was surprised that during Masters week that this place was so empty on Wednesday night. I haven't been to this location before, but have in other cities and everything is pretty much the same. Our server was friendly and brought our drinks quickly. I settled on the won ton soup, and split the pan fried dumplings and the Kung pao with my husband. That was the perfect amount of food for us. I just ordered food from Augusta, GA. This place gave me cold food! The teriyaki beef dinner was not only cold when I tasted it, it was also the worst PF Changs meal I have ever had! I threw it all in the hotel garbage! Then I call the manager to explain the food was cold and asked if it was cooked fresh because it tasted cold and old??....I'm still on hold with her it's showing 25 minutes on hold and more counting!! So I would say the service is also quite bad! Any way eat there at your own risk! read more

I visited this restaurant on Xmas Eve. The waiter was very rude and dismissive. The simple things that I asked for he never came back with.. Example, napkins, just water. We had an exchange of words when I advised I do not want lemon in my water. He seemed to be pissy and mumbled something under his breath. I should have got up and left right than and there. Usually this restaurant is a nice spot to have a quick lunch and chill but for whatever reason this waiter Justin must have been having a bad day and that came off with his dismissive attitude on me. He never checked back on me and took plenty of time making my drink I had to ask someone else to get his attention so I could get the check. I have never Not leave a tip for anyone at any restaurant but this guy deserved nothing more than the money for the food. The service was very welcoming, however, I noticed the food was not up to par. We were very patient and the ambience was well set, the tone was just there. But, the food was lukewarm. Also, we had a 3 year old with us and we asked for a plastic fork in the beginning and we did not receive one. It honestly gave my whole table of 6 a headache. We waited for the food for a very long time and it wasn't even at least hot? Also, the sprite was flat, I mean it tasted like sparkling water. We did like that the serving sizes were reasonable, not those oversized ridiculous serving sizes some places serve that leads to overeating and food waste. Last night my boyfriend and I had a reservation at PF Chang's for my birthday dinner. We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation and were greeted by a not so friendly host. The place was pretty empty with about 5 tables filled. After being sat and told we would be seen shortly, we sat for over 20 minutes without being spoken to. Multiple servers and the host walked by us a handful of times without acknowledging us. Around 15 minutes after we were sat another couple was sat near us and served immediately. So it's been a really long time since we came so was unsure. Once we arrived, we got seated immediately. We didn't have to wait long before our waiter came to get our drink orders. Rough travel day to large company meeting; everyone is scrambling....its a mess. Took a break and found a couple friends. Their table was for two and there were two, 2-seater empty tables around them. We navigated a chair towards the table to chat. We were told we couldn't do that. Ok, understood. Went out to request one of the four empty, 4-seater tables. Was directed to the bar b/c there would be a wait of 15 mins. When asked about the tables, she said she had a waiting list. I stopped in after a very busy Saturday, and once again I was delighted with P.f. Chang's Asian-Chinese Restaurant. Everything was wonderful. I started with wonton soup which was the perfect temperature and flavor then for my entree I chose Mongolian Beef ( which I highly recommend) along with White and fried rice and a side of lo mein , and each dish was packed with flavor they were delicious. Food is delicious!! Here for Valentine's 2024 & the atmosphere is calming. Clean restrooms & dining area. We had veggie lettuce wraps, steak wontons & sesame chicken. All were cooked to perfection. Well, I've started this one star review while waiting for my food. The first impression can't be worse--I was contemplating leaving but I feel sorry for the nice waitress, so we stayed. This place is FILTHY! The floor feels sticky--literally my shoe sole feels stuck onto the floor. The first two tables the host tried to seat us are both with dirty chairs. I ordered the pepper steak, which tastes okay, but there's this string-shaped stuff in my plate. Whatever it might be, it shouldn't been there. All in all, one star is exactly what this place deserves. But I would stay the decoration is pretty nice. read more

Honestly I don't think I've ever been so unimpressed by a restaurant before... my husband only took two bites of his meat even I tried it and him taking the second by was impressive( Chang spicy chicken). The egg drop soup wasn't good at all, teriyaki chicken tasted off, and even the kids simple California roll was made badly. my kid who is not picky with her sushi didn't eat it. that alone told us how bad it was. when brought up to the manager they took the kids sushi off. Paid $70 for rice, few green beans and a few pieces of funky chicken..... I don't like to be rude but this needed to written so others do not falls into a situation like we did. Also when brought up to them they stated that they got a new chief and they just might not know how to make the items correctly yet. Best birthday celebration with friends. We came here yesterday before church and it was top notch and excellent. It's been awhile since I came here and I enjoyed every minute of our time here. One friend had the Orange chicken with white rice, my other friend had Lo mein combo and I had the Sesame Chicken with fried rice and for my birthday I got a free dessert on my account. It was a hard decision to choose which dessert to go with between the bao donuts and Vietnamese Chocolate Lava Cake but I got the lava cake with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Everything was so excellent and delicious and such a wonderful experience. Our server was just very polite and pleasant and made the evening extra special. We visited with 5 ppl (2 adults, 3 kids including a toddler) on a Saturday afternoon. Reservations were for 715. This was the last time we tried PF Chang's. The first visit we waited 30 (with reservations) to be seated. Once seated it took an hour to bring out food and it was lukewarm and flavorless. The manager was apologetic but the damage was done. This time we waited 45 minutes (again with reservations) to be seated only to be told they were unsure how much longer we would have to wait on table. They were not apologetic or sympathetic at all. Chang's lettuce wraps are the bomb! I absolutely love the filling and how refreshing it is when paired with the dried noodles and fresh lettuce. Their entrees, not so much. I got the pad thai and it just always comes with huge pieces of green onions. I personally love green onions but these pieces are way too big to even be tasty. Not to mention the price here is on the expensive side. On the other hand, the interior of this place is gorgeous. When you step inside, it's like a whole different world and since it's so dim it seems like the ceiling is the night sky. If I were to come back again, it would be for the lettuce wraps. This place needs inspection. Me and my partner were placed at a dirty, sticky table at the rear of the restaurant. We were moved to another dirty table that needed wiping first. We sat and proceeded to order our food. First came the ooold spicy tuna rolls. Lacey gave us a dirty soy sauce container and the rolls were cold, the rice hard, and the tuna brown after she raved about how good they were rolled. "Like a blunt" she said. Tasted like it was left uncovered in the fridge all night. After looking around there was beef and rice on the floor and what looked like a booger on the booth partition. We did not wait for our meal for fear we would have left ill. Especially with old fish. No sir. After having many great PF Chang's experiences elsewhere, I will never visit this one again for their audacity. Fire the day manager and have Lacey not to speak Ebonics to black customers. read more

I eat at Changs quite a bit when I travel for work. Foods usually consistent and the drinks are good. This place is awful. I've been here an hour and a half and I ordered my food an hour ago. It's so slow too! I worked in food service for 12 years. There is definitely something wrong with the management here. If you can buy the dish in the frozen food section at Publix it shouldn't take an hour. I snapped the attached photo of the bar virtually empty with no server in sight. It was like this for over 20 minutes then we get an update that they are on an hour wait. There is approxiamately 12 ppl in the restaurant. How can you be on an hour wait? There's literally no redeeming quality to this place. The server was pleasant enough but you could tell this type of thing was so normal for her she was numb to our dis satisfaction. When our food finally came out I had four tiny piece of chicken for my whole dish. Avoid this spot. Not up to the changs standard. read more

Glen, the manager, is a true asset to PF Chang's. We experienced a couple problems with our lunch order. The assistant manager was a big help too. The staff did their best to make sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend the sweet & sour chicken lunch bowl, the sautéed green beans; & my favorite, the tofu lettuce wraps. Through no fault of their own, they had no hot mustard. The chili paste, however, was a good substitute. A remodel is scheduled for this location in the future; however the current decor & ambiance is what we have grown to expect and enjoy. Located just a quick walk to the Augusta Mall, we strolled over and enjoyed "after lunch" browsing in the shops there. Again, Glen went above & beyond to make sure we were happy with our meal.
