    Hibachi Chicken
    Summer S.

Tried to order by phone but I couldn't get anyone after trying for about 10 minutes. I had to go in person to order and wait for about 25 minutes (on a weeknight). The hibachi steak is a great deal for the price and portions! The sushi is really good as well. My mom got the hibachi chicken but said the chicken was very bland. It did look a little unseasoned and pale. I'll definitely come back again for sushi and hibachi steak... we'll probably pass on the chicken.

The sushi chef has skills. Perfect Presentation and the rolls tasted great! Walking in I was questioning if I'd stay to eat. It looks like a take out place but the Chef made up for that and then some.

Very good & quick! For $9.99 you can get a California roll & a huge box of food. Or if you don't want sushi with your meal, you can get something else for between $5.99-$7.99. My husbands teriyaki steak with fried rice & veggies was just $6.99 & he couldn't eat it all. My teriyaki chicken combo with California roll, teriyaki chicken, fried rice & veggies for $9.99 was more than enough to feed myself, 3 yr old & still leave with leftovers. Will be back soon for sure!!

Two combo with chicken and shrimp.

Stopped here for dinner. Staff were watching tv and the place was empty. The guy who took our order seemed more interested in the tv than us. Both me and my daughter ordered the two item combo with fried rice, shrimp, and chicken. When we got to our hotel we noticed my daughter didn't get chicken. No loss really, my chicken was really dry. The Shrimp was good. The rice was not fried at all. It was plain white rice with soy sauce poured on it. Don't think I will return.

Flavorless food. Chicken was rubbery. Vegetables are frozen and bland. White sauce was watered down. Boo

Would of been good food. I got to tokyo shrimp. The cooks did not pill the shrimp and soaked it in sauce then served it to me.

It is still the best sushi bar in the Southeast. They have the largest variety of fresh fish and…read moreother seafood, but they also make traditional chicken and steaks. The owner / chef Ryo takes care and what he's making and shows great pride in his finished product and it tastes great too. He gets fish that other restaurants do not have access to or have chosen not to purchase. I have seen flying fish, jellyfish, fresh Cobia, fresh Spanish mackerel, live clams and scallops and other seafood that you cannot obtain anywhere else. If you are looking for the best sushi in the area, you don't need to go anywhere else. You can go anywhere and buy a California roll but that is really not what I would consider sushi that's like going to Ruth Chris steakhouse and ordering a hot hot dog.

I was given chicken nuggets and told they don't have chicken wings... Glad I found their menu online to prove I wasn't crazy. Everything is either overcooked, dry, or super salty. No idea why this place was even packed. Sushi rice was dry. The chicken nugget thing mentioned above was overly dry and salty. Tonkotsu Ramen was overcooked. Either they chose the wrong type of noodle or let it sit forever before serving it. The two slices of meat that came with the ramen was maybe from pork chop meat? Usually it's made with cha shew meat or pork belly. Two super lean and dry slices of meat made the bowl look like a joke. The noodle was salty enough that I don't even want to try the broth. Edamame was okay. Other than the fact that they don't look appetizing, the shell was brownish and many bean pockets (if you know what I was trying to say) were empty, that's probably the best dish on the table. If you want sushi or ramen or anything that's on their menu, do yourself a favor and please try to find it somewhere else.

One thing that immediately stood out to me is they are called Hokkaido raamen, but dont have Hokkaido raamen (Hokkaido raamen tends to be buttery with seafood.. but there are many variations). The pros: very friendly staff that didnt charge me extra for a sprinkle of cilantro. Clean place and well presented food. The cons: noodles are way too soggy. Good raamen needs to be much firmer. The chashu (por) for the price of the dish should have been the size of my fist, but was more the size of a couple thin slices of Canadian bacon. The temperature was also luke warm. Ramen needs to be hot hot hot (forgivable though because I imagine a lawsuit if it b was served as its supposed to be) Overall: way too over priced for what it is. I would say this is a $7 bowl of raamen. Don't get me wrong... it was tasty... but heavily price gouged. Alas.. this is kind of par for course for raamen stateside. I might go here once or twice a year... its like having a fast food burger that costs 20$.. the burger may be great but the price drains the flavor.
