When your order is not correct -- which has happened to myself & others a number of times -- going back for what I asked for proved to unleash the most deplorable customer service I have experienced in my 70 years. The lack of willingness to get my order ready, nasty attitude from the female clerk standing behind stacked boxes glaring at me while I waited, proved to me this is no place to do business with. I visited Miyabi Jr. while visiting my family in Augusta/Evans. This restaurant is located off of Washington Rd. within the Evans Crossing Shopping Center in Evans, Ga. The Parking: Since it's in a parking lot, it's plenty of free parking. The Atmosphere: Even though they have tables for you to eat inside, this isn't typically a place that I would dine inside, unless I'm on a lunch or passing by. There are a few tables to dine, but this feels more like a "pick-up" or "to-go" location. The Service: Fair treatment from the staff. Large portions! One of our go to restaurants for dinner. Rolls, hibachi, bowls, and cheesecake never disappoint.

The service was fast and the hibachi chicken bowl was filling but the chicken was not seasoned and bland. The quality of the food was not the best today. These are AMAZING & AWESOME prices && look at the portions!!! WELL worth it. We will be back and I am so mad we JUST came here, haha. Been living here for 6 months now. We got the Yakisoba, Steak n Shrimp teriyaki, chicken and shrimp teriyaki and they have a bar of sauces to choose from! White sauce, garlic and more teriyaki if needed. What can I say about Miyabi Jr? Yup Jr it is. If you want a junior size Chinese dish that cost the same at TOKI, go right ahead. It is in a nice location, the staff was nice but the price for the service and food... NO! After my wife and I ate what we could for the price we paid, we left there and went to McDonalds for the rest of our meal. Small portion for the same price at TOKI and you can get salad and soup with your lunch dish. No thanks. Some of you might hate this review but what is expected from people in the South. I am Korean and rice is cheap, veggies are cheap, and for the portion of meat provided.. yeah, we will not be going to this place ever again. They need to come down at least 2 dollars per meal and then we might think about it. read more

COVID update - 5/10/20: I ordered ahead but when I arrived was horrified at what I saw. 1/2 the employees, not wearing masks, the doors were closed so you have to open them, no social distancing and people packed in waiting on orders that didn't place in advance. 1/2 the customers not wearing masks. MIYABI JR. SON OF BIG MIYABI SR. For about about half the price of the real deal, the junior location really gets the job done in my opinion. Between the teriyaki chicken, filet mignon (pronounced Fill*it mig*naan), and the vegetables and rice, junior over here cooks up a bomb.com eat-in or to-go meal; the service wasn't too shabby either. We got the chicken yakisoba, chicken teriyaki, and the steak and shrimp hibachi. The hibachi came with a serving of rice and sautéed zucchini with onion. Everything tasted delicious and was served hot off the grill. They have a sauce station in the side which we were big fans of. The servers were friendly and there was plenty of sitting inside. I have been a loyal customer to this Evan's location and drive thirty minutes from my home to eat there. I received horrible customer service from a female name Lucia. I spent $70 dollars on my food ( which I normally spend $70 - $100 on my food here). They left one of my chicken plates out of the bag. When I got home and noticed, I called to get the issue rectified. Lucia hung the phone up in my face. I called back and the cook admitted he didn't see the second chicken plate on the receipt and left it out the bag. I will be going up here to get my money back for my chicken plate but will not be returning to this location to eat there. Oh my God please never come here and ask for a Junior noodle steak bowl and ask for extra steak. I told them I'd be glad to pay extra for the extra steak.The cashier had to have a conversation with the cook the cook had to have a conversation with one of the helper cooks. I told him I'd be glad to pay extra for it just put the extra steak in with the noodles. they were so confused and talking to each other I finally told them just to forget it and give me the regular order. The staff working tonight is very unfriendly and has poor customer service skills. The food here is excellent and always has been! Since leaving Denver we were excited about having our Miyabi fix here in GA! It was sooooooo good and looks the exact same inside :) I am dieting right now so we each got a steak bowl. The steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. We have always loved the self serve sauce bar and tried the ginger and mustard sauce for our steak. The bill was $14 and I think that's a pretty great deal for 2 people eating high standard fast Japenese cuisine. Also, the customer service was amazing just like our old location in CO. This is my go-to place for when I'm craving Japanese but don't want to spend a ton of money! They have a wide range of menu items that include appetizers, side items, bowls, entrees, and jr bowls. It reminds me of the Japanese restaurant I used to frequent back in college. Same menu and restaurant setup. The jr bowls come with just enough rice and protein to satisfy my hunger and prevent me from over-eating! My only complaint is that the jr bowls don't come with the hibachi vegetables, WHICH I LOVE, but they can be ordered as a side dish. read more
