It's name is Fuji, and it's listed as a Thai restaurant. Nothing inherently wrong with that. But when you break it down, it's sort a catch all Asian spot with a big menu. And it's fine. There just isn't anything particularly special about it. The food was fine. The service was fine. Not really a lot of atmosphere to speak of. The prices were decent. So were the portions. It's just your hodge-podge place that should have something for everyone. Full disclosure, I tend to prefer restaurants that specifically focus on one cuisine (Korean, Japanese, Thai, etc.). I don't think I'll be hurrying back. But I also won't avoid it. I ended up here once, and I'm not opposed to ending up there again.

Wow! That's how I am going to start this review. The staff were so nice and we got our food promptly. Everything tasted so fresh and clean I loved it. I did think the amount of crab on top of the Volcano Roll was a bit too much but when I portioned it out it was heavenly with the California roll underneath. The next time we visit I definitely want to try more rolls as I didn't feel I got the best taste of what they can do here with the few we got (even though they were amazing). We had also ordered some General Tso's chicken which was really good though my fiancé noted it wasn't as spicy as he would've liked (I thought the spice level was nice and not unbearable). Lastly after we had finished our meal and packed up our left over we get a little surprise 'desert' of strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate chips. It sounds so simple but was 10/10. I 100% recommended this place after my first visit!

Laid back atmosphere and delicious food. There were lots of kids in the restaurant and they have a nice kids menu with noodles and fried rice in addition to the standards. We loved the generous servings of fresh perfectly cooked veggies in each dish. Even the tomatoes in the salad were flavorful and perfectly ripe in the middle of mushy tomato season. The kitchen's attention to detail was impeccable and we even got free pineapple cake at the end of our meal. Papaya salad 5/5 Not too sweet, well balanced refreshing papaya salad with a nice spice and acidity. Tom yum 7/5 This one blew me away, the large size was huge, veggies were perfect, the flavor was incredible. Soft tofu and vegetable soup 4/5 Generous servings of veggies and tofu in a mild broth perfect for kids. I didn't love the broth, but the kids were very happy with it. Edit: tasted as leftovers and strong 5/5 on its own this soup has such a delicate delightful flavor - we were just tasted out from our other dishes Drunken noodles 3/5 The noodles weren't bad, but they didn't have the same balance and complexity of flavors as the other dishes. Panang Curry 5/5 So rich and creamy and flavorful. Really good and generous serving size. Edamame 4/5 Freshly heated frozen edamame as expected

Anytime we are here the food is aways coming out steaming hot with nothing wrong with it. The employees here treat us like kings and are amazing they check on us quickly and food comes out great. Although the atmosphere is great except it is just a little small still perfect and love it. I would recommend it definitely coming back

So I recently learned that Fuji is actually owned by the same people as thai kitchen. I think the menu is the same (at least the usual items I order from thai kitchen are on the menu). I did however try something new....the house special udon noodles. They taste similar to pad see ew just with udon noodles and I think I actually like it with udon noodles more than than the wide rice noodles. My friend that also frequents thai kitchen also tried something new and enjoyed it. The friend that gets the same dish from thai kitchen said it tastes the same. I do like the seating more at this location as it seems more spacious.

Great food. Love the flavors of Asia. (Especially the curry dishes) Service good, and typical Asian ambiance.

Worst service ever. The server rarely checked on us, For them to be that busy you would think it's better staffed.

Got the grilled chicken & steak, which was solid. The grilled chicken had a great char flavor, while the steak tasted like something you'd eat at a hibachi restaurant. The fried rice wasn't oily or dry, best part was how's the portion was. Got a side of 6 piece gyoza which was meat and vegetable filled; that was also non oily and fried just right. Took about 7-8 minutes for the order to come out which was a fast then around. Plenty of room for dining & facilities were pretty clean. They also have other menu items like bubble teas and ramen. Definitely a diverse menu, will certainly be back.

The atmosphere looks nice, if a tad plain. But some of the tables had to be scooted out to get into the seat and they were heavy on a granite floor so loud screeching accompanied the otherwise silent room. Fast food style service and the annoying receipt signing which fast food shouldn't have was present. Also, the toilet wouldn't flush. All over, I'm not sure it really earned the star I gave it.

But I found this little spot in a shopping center on the outskirts and they're doing some stuff right. I was drawn in by a wallet-friendly lunch special menu, which yielded a decent variety of vegetable and tofu-based options. My tofu with hot peppers was a very credible Hunan-style dish as the place's name would suggest, with dried hot peppers and a lively black bean sauce. The option for brown or fried rice was no extra charge, or if you did want to pay more you could get lo mein instead. I added a spring roll, which compared to my main dish was a bit overpriced but was tasty and, as with the other dishes around me, nicely plated. Their menu suggests a Malaysian influence as well, and I'd be happy to return for dinner to try something different.

That alone should have been a red flag. I ordered three appetizers and two dinners. Shrimp toast, cream cheese wontons, steamed dumplings, a General Tso's combo with plain fried rice (because pork fried rice was not an option), and a pepper steak combo with fried rice as well. The shrimp toast was burnt and tasted of old stale burnt oil (see photo). The cream cheese wontons were not fresh. Definitely frozen. They were very dry and had a powdery mouth feel and were somewhat rubbery. Would not order them again. However, I want to think that the shrimp toast would be great if it wasn't burnt. The steamed dumplings were good. The dipping sauce was the best part of the entire meal. Very strong enjoyable garlic flavor in the sauce. The entrees..... Where do I begin? The Pepper steak itself tasted decent. However, there was only about a cup worth of pepper steak, and only about a tablespoon of actual meat. I wish there had been more. The rest of the container was stuffed with about 3lbs of really dry and crumbly fried rice. (see photo) The portion size of the General Tso's was about the same. Just an insane amount of rice compared to the actual entree portion. Zero pieces of green peppers or broccoli. Usually one or the other is in there at every Chinese place I've eaten at. I've never seen it made with just straight up chicken. Also, I ordered it "Extra Spicy" and it literally had zero spice to it. It tasted more like sweet and sour sauce on it. As others have stated, the food did not taste fresh overall. Just really disappointing. The egg rolls that came with the combo dinners were very small, about the size of a spring roll. Even the fortune cookies were rubbery. We didn't crack them in half. We basically unbent them to a flat state. Very odd indeed. Overall, I was left questioning whether any of the food that I ordered was actually made in house or if it was all al-a-restaurant-depo. I would probably not order from here again. If I did, I would probably give the shrimp toast another try in hopes that it didn't come out burnt again.
