The hubs and I came out here for a few days of chill/relaxing away from home. Our Airbnb we're staying at gave P Dubs Grille & Bar a good review for places close by and yummy. As we had just got to town and HUNGRY, we said, "let's go"! Man, so glad we did. The food was great. Not many people there- totally fine by us. I had a pulled pork sandwich with a side of taters. The hubs had the Tri tip sandwich w/ onion rings. We also wanted to get a cup of mashed garlic potatoes to try. Everything was great. Like really good!! Although my initial interaction was disappointing, I was happy that the Owner reached out to me from my Facebook post and returned the money for the burrito I didn't want. P Dubs in Stallion Springs. The first time My mother and I went there bad experience and Very bad customer service. I order the club sandwich it sucked very small and overprice. My mother ordered fried shrimp basket and it look like a kid meal she did not like it. the two items was around $40 by the way no drinks. So I give it a second chance it's a family own business. I went on my own and got chicken tacos and chips still bad service and chicken had no flavor chips taste like they bought it from the $.99 store. read more

I'm a fan of the Stallion Springs location. I really don't go to the one in Old Town but everytime I have gone into the Stallion location I have had a good meal and great service. If you happen to head out that way...stop by and grab some lunch. read more

We have been to P Dubs a few times when visiting family in the area. We went yesterday and as always the food was out of this world as always. We started out with some drinks. I had the Cadillac Margarita - absolutely delicious. I shared an order of the Spinach Artichoke Wontons with chili sauce. This unlikely combination of flavors is out of this world. This visit I tried the Buffalo Chicken wrap.i love blue cheese so I did add a bit of blue cheese dressing. Phenomenal food for a small town bar and grille. As far as service is concerned - Ashley was amazing! We had a large group and filled up the patio. Ashley was attentive, kept the drinks flowing, water filled, perfect timing for taking our orders. Food was ready and served in a very timely manner! If you haven't tried this place - get down there! Oh and I almost forgot to mention - they are very dog friendly. Ahhhhmazing Tip Dip aka Tri Tip Sandwich fresh off the smoker! This gem of sandwich was so flipping good the smokey after bite lasted a good few minutes. Topped with a side of fresh au-jus drippings I was in a pleasant food coma!! Great way to spend a relaxing Sunday. Environment is up beat with several HD screens showcasing daily sports events and smaller tables have private screens where kids or families can view custom channels. HIGHLY recommend P-Dubs for anyone craving an assortment of American Cuisine and plentiful servings topped with tastey craft beer. Staff efficient and friendly. Terrible food, terrible service. Dirty everything! Sticky menus, nasty restrooms, lipstick on cups, just disgusting.

They are grey previously frozen burgers on white buns. They taste gross. My friend had a Beyond burger, and it was only 1/2 the size of this huge white hamburger bun. My regular burger was this strangely textured, and perfectly shaped frozen tasteless oversalted grey burger with hardly any bbq sauce. Yuck. read more

The place is spacious and clean. Plenty of TV's, all actually showing sports. A good bar. Service was fast on a Monday evening. I had a pastrami sandwich. The fries were very good. The sandwich was flavorful if a little plain but the meat was tough and gristlely. I wouldn't have it again. All in all I'd come again. read more

Just got my family food to go. The people were nice but the food was a problem. My daughter had hair in her food and swallowed it she's 6. I told her it could have been hers and not to worry. Then as I got down to my last couple bites of my Stinkin onion burger I found a large hair in it. And just FYI I'm completely bald so it wasn't mine. Hate to complain because they seemed very nice. My family and I love to order food from here. We're new in town and find the location very convenient. The crispy chicken wrap with natural cut fries and a side of ranch is my go to order. The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is nice. They used to have a bacon wrapped meatloaf that was fantastic but I haven't seen it in a while. The nachos are good as well but I would add beef or chicken next time. They don't have any gluten free options which would be a nice addition. All in all, I definitely recommend eating here. My mother, husband and I ate here for the first time last night; they had amazing food!! I had the Ahi salad, he had a burger and she had the meatloaf. Each meal was so different but equally delicious. My husband's burger was the most delicious burger we've tasted in a restaurant, the seared Ahi was amazing and their onion rings were fried in a seasoned batter unlike any I've ever had (super good). Needless to say, I ventured off my healthy plate of fish and had more than a few of his onion rings. However, my mother's carrots were equally as good!!! It's a drive for us but soooo worth it! We are going there on our next "date night". Go try it and you won't be dissapointed! The service (given by the owner) was equally as good! read more

The whole town of Tehachapi is obsessed with this joint. Their breakfast is absolutely HORRENDOUS. However, I do enjoy when the have oven baked pizzas. The restaurant is always clean & the waitresses are nice. read more

The food was good but the dish I got the pastrami was beyond tiny pretty much a under filled hot dog roll for $12.00 after tax you eat it and are still hunger. So all in all in my opinion that dish was a rip off. read more

This is for the location in Stallion Springs.... Hands down the best food in the area. If I get food from here it is usually to go. Food is a 5, service can be anywhere from a 2 to a 3. Down Home Comfort Food, Americana specials and burgers are all really good. Some of their comfort food or snacks are absolutely delicious, but if I go into a restaurant and order a burger and fries and a salad and two Iced Teas and 40 minutes later I am still waiting for refill because the waitress / bartender is too busy talking to the two other tables to help me unless I flag her down , it's just not worth it to me. Know this was not just one trip, this is at least five trips I have had the same issues. Food is fabulous, service is slow. Stopped in for lunch yesterday. Restaurant was nearly empty with only a couple of other small tables other than the two of us. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our drink order taken and delivered. My wife chose the pastrami sliders and I fish and chips. Our food came out in short order and that is where things went downhill. First and most obvious was the skimpyness (is that even a word) of the pastrami particularly with the almost $10 price. As I picked my first piece of fish to eat I noticed a liquid dripping out expecting it to be hot oil ( you fish eaters know of which I speak) I was totally surprised to find it was cold water. Tearing the fillet in half I was met with still cold and raw fish. I called over a waitress and pointed out the issue and she returned it to the kitchen and returned the fries so I had something to nibble on. When the food was returned I was slightly taken a back to find they had reheated the same food. The fish was mushy and not what you would expect for flavor. Not sure what type of fish it was probably not cod or other firm meat fish. We only moved to Stallion last November but in the half dozen times we have eaten here we have found the food and service to be very inconsistent. Hoping Papa's reopens soon. read more

Ordered a Grilled cheese and club sandwich with salad for a sides and couldn't have been more disappointed. Salad was nothing but yellow lettuce with a few grape tomatoes. We have been here several times and never had a negative experience. Whether it's date night or with the kids, we have had great experiences. The food is always awesome. We have tried a variety of items off the menu, the stinky onion burger was amazing! The onion rings are always perfect. Last night I decided to go with the panko Parmesan crusted chicken which has me hooked. I feel like there is no need to go anywhere else, this place has it all. Now, I saved the best for last. Part of me is selfish and doesn't really want to alert the world about this because I fear the moment when I go to order the dark chocolate salted caramel pie and the waitress says the dreaded words "I'm sorry we are out of that pie." But it's too good to keep to myself. When it's finally delivered to my table and I take that first bite I feel like Meg Ryan in Harry Met Sally-it's that good. read more
