As a Goleta Local . . . this is THE spot to hang out with other locals who also love Goleta - The Good Land. While enjoying some cold beer-on-tap we actually ran in to a couple high school buddies. Now THAT'S local! Bartenders made darn sure we were having a good time, and indeed we were. Very helpful with their beer and cocktails recommendations. And a great place to watch sports. TV's everywhere. Honestly, we didn't know where to look first. They pack a lot of fun into this little spot. Definitely looking forward to Sunday NFL here. read more

After landing at the airport my husband and I were looking for a sports bar to watch the 2nd half of the Ohio v Illinois game. Called Roundin' Third and they had the game on. Another pleasant surprise in Goleta! We were supposed to be going to a rooftop bar that happened to be closed for a private event. So we pivoted and decided to watch some football found a random sports bar. Did mention pleasantly surprised? Great game watching spot for Sunday football. Prices are very reasonable and service is awesome. A full breakfast and lunch menu is available from Home Plate next door. You can tell this bar is a local hangout for many football fans, but I felt welcome as a newby too. The pizza seemed super popular and looked delicious, they also had some unique combos. read more

Stopped by there on our way home to Santa Maria my fiancé and I. We watched the football game and enjoyed it very much all the high definition TVs. Enjoyed every play. This hole in the wall dive bar was a nice find in North Goleta. It's a great sports bar with ten TVs, is dog friendly and has very reasonable prices. The food menu comes from Home Run, which is next door and shares the same owner. Michelle was our server and she was great... super friendly and thanked us several times for coming in. The place is filled with Goleta locals and was bustling on a Thursday night. I had a 1/2 bottle of Sauvignon Blanc ($10.50!) and a small house salad. Friends had a chili cheese dog and pizza. On our recent stay in Santa Barbara, we wanted to find a good sports bar to watch the Kings-Leafs game on Saturday afternoon. Roundin' Third turned out to be an ideal choice, although its location in a strip mall in Goleta was a bit out of the way. Lisa, who appeared to be the only wait staff on hand, took very good care of us, from putting on the hockey game at our request, to bringing over a speaker so we could hear the audio when the place got more crowded (and noisier). The food comes from Home Plate, a diner-type place two doors down, and although not fancy, it was fresh, tasty, and with large portions. We had a house salad, frings (my hubby wanted onion rings and I wanted fries, so Lisa said, why not have both?) a tri-tip au jus sandwich and a spicy chicken sandwich. Although the Kings lost, it was a great experience. Definitely worth the drive from SB! read more

First of all, why do you go to a bar for? Personally, the Ambiance which includes the service and in most cases the food, Roundin' Third have it all in partnership with Home Plate Grill. Personally, I go to a bar looking for relaxation and good beer although sometimes I like to relax some more with a good Whiskey. It took me quite some time to make myself brave enough to walk inside there. The reason... not a bar person. But I have to admit I had So Much Fun there in every single time I visited that place. read more

I've been here twice while visiting my daughter at UCSB. Both times the bartenders have been pleasant and easy going. We ordered food both times and the food was great. I would recommend this spot for a drink and a lunch bite. Plenty of TVs to catch a game. read more

I wanted to watch the Stanley Cup Finals and saw this place and decided to check it out. Looks like a hole in the wall but they definitely have great service and the interior will surprise you. Bartenders were excellent and on top of their patron's needs. Food was good and the beer was great. I found a new place to hang out while in town here. Cute little dive bar hidden in Goleta! Literally in the middle of a neighborhood behind a gas station, but a nice little spot that college students have not taken over yet. Came by Round'n 3rd yesterday to watch the first football game of the COVID-19 (boo) But my neighborhood bar was awesome with 5 TVs outside so no matter where you sit you were watching football, hockey, baseball and hockey! What a treat! The staff was delighted when the local patrons pitched in to help clear tables. Had a blast getting back to sports even with masks on! This is my favorite bar to go to play pool. There's always a good price on drinks and pool is free. The bartenders are super friendly and usually everyone that goes there. They have a smoking area in the back with chairs and also in the front. The bar is kind of hidden since it's in the corner area behind the 711 but definitely recommend coming here. read more

What an awesome local sports bar to visit... Amazing people and the food is wonderful. I visited with my husband and a close friend... Michelle who was the bartender and server took great care of us. Her Margaritas was the best I've tried in the whole Goleta. She had a warm personality and amazing hospitality... We will definitely be back! A slice of sweet America in Goleta the Goodland! I've gone past this place for years and never been inside. But this really is the definition of a neighborhood bar. You walk in and the sultry and friendly bartender invites you to a drink. The clientele....LOCALS, all just chillin over a drink, while the bartender knows everyone here. Honestly I didn't know places like this existed in Santa Barbara, but thank god this place is only two blocks from home. They've got 11 TVs, one BIG HD Screen, a pool table, and all the beer neon lights you could think of. Forget shouting to get the bartender over, she'll come on over to you and become your friend in seconds. They have a surprisingly large selection of tequila and whiskey for such a small place, but makes sense to quell those sorrows away with liquor. And before you're even done with your drink, the bartender (in mid conversation with you), will get you another. This playful banter over a few drinks in a relaxed local environment is something that is missing from many neighborhoods, but DAMN is it nice to have one in my neighborhood. read more

This is a cute little tucked away bar in the heart of Goleta. My first experience here was fun! It was karaoke night and people were having a great time singing and dancing. It's not a very big place but it has everything you need in a bar, and feels very cozy. They have flat screen TV's around the bar, and a pool table. I believe they have karaoke night twice a month but i'm not sure of the dates. read more

There is no other place like good ol Roundin Third. It's a bar, a dive bar no less, but it's also a second home to an array of Goleta locals. It's a place where I can walk in and get about 5 hugs before I find myself a seat and order my usual drink from the friendly bartender. Every time I come there I know I'll see a friend. Stiff drinks, good prices, and did I mention free pool? Mind you, there is a list for the table and if you go out of order someone is sure to say something. Ps. They opened a small restaurant 3 doors down where you can order a variety of pizza, sandwiches, burgers, salads, apps etc. and they will bring it on over to the bar when it's ready. read more

The four was earned this place always has great drinks, and home platr always delivers good food. but if you show up on the nights that the no smiling miserable entitled, I've been here too long girl is working. 10 out of 10! We picked this bar by putting "bar" into maps on our phone. It was the first one. Best. Choice. Ever. Christine was SO nice. She's like the bar mother. The drinks were great, they even make their own sour mix. Great prices too. The people there were so nice and fun. It's like I'd been going there for years. We were there for a while and Christine said we had to try the tacos next door. They were great too and one of the regulars walked over and got them for us. I can't say enough how great this place was, we are defiantly going back! read more

Great little dive bar in a tiny strip mall butting right up against several neighborhoods! The place you walk to and from if you live close. Many of the same people here every time, but also good for non/locals. Takes all kinds too. The guy counting out his last bit of pocket change for a bud light, and the business dressed sports fanatic who's sipping a martini and yelling at the TV. As a dive bar should be. Food available for the restaurant two doors down. 7-11 fifty feet away to get your smokes. Old stools and a sticky bar top. Enjoy! read more

This place is just crappy. But in a kind of awesome way. It isn't hipstery divey or anything. It is a great last bar for the night. The prices aren't amazing, but the place is super chill and unassuming. If you are there for more than a half hour, I guarantee that you will meet someone who is at very least interesting to talk to! Sometimes they have live music (usually just one person with a guitar). I very much recommend this place for anyone who doesn't at all care about a bar being "nice" or "clean" or "fancy." If you do care, I would stay away. Most of the bartenders are amazingly friendly and rarely if ever have an attitude. They make you feel very comfortable. Roundin' Third is awesome. It's a local bar where you can have decent conversations with people you either know, or know someone else who that person is related to. The bartenders are very friendly and people can actually carry a conversation here. There is a pool table here so you can shoot some pool with a few quarters. Since this is a Goleta bar the prices aren't so bad. I was shocked when I ordered two beers and I had to put money back in my wallet because I took out too much. Came here after planning to attend Break Time but it didn't open as it advertised. The people here are amazing and the service was fantastic. We were pleasantly surprised when we were told breakfast was free prepared by the chef. We came here to watch a football game and the fans were spectacular. I must say, it looks a little sketch on the outside but please come in. The atmosphere is fantastic. Next time I'm in the area during football season, I will make a habit to stop by this place! PS- didn't give it five stars because the location is a little tricky. No clear ads off the main street. read more

The best neighborhood bar in town. All ages, race, and creed frequent RT. Free pool table all the time, just get in line. Play your fave songs right from your iPhone on the TouchTunes jukebox. The owner and mngr are the best people you will ever meet. In fact all the employees are helpful beautiful people. Found this little sports bar by accident a couple weeks ago. It was over the Christmas holidays, I had family members in town and we wanted to watch several different football games at the same time so the only logical answer was... Sports bar! We went to Zodos and it was absolutely full so we looked on Yelp and found this one. HD TVs everywhere, lots of very friendly people, modestly priced drinks and during football season at least, even some free food (hot digs, chili, chips, sausages). The bar is stocked with premium brands and just all in all, I think this is a great place. read more

One thing I really loved is the bilingual atmosphere; a lot of folks were speaking Spanish and English, and the music was a cool mix of Country, Corridos, and Selena. Overall, a pretty good dive bar atmosphere with free parking in the front. (We did notice they have a shuttle, hopefully to cut down on those dangerous DUI's). Also loved the misting system out in front to keep you cool. Good stop for a drink before dinner.

This place is great. Bartenders well bartender beware of. Drinking behind the bar. Rude as hell to customers. Ignore people who are waiting to order. I have heard many complaints from numerous people about this darked hair wonder but none of the management seems to do anything about it. This place no longer will have my business because of this one person. She works weekend nights so beware. read more
