Had a sewer line failure in 2023. I wanted to compare quotes but Kevin's said they couldn't come…read moreback for 2 months in that case. No working sewer so I needed it fixed. Kevin's dug it up and 'repaired' it for a lot of money. Now 2 years later it needs to be dug up again. Saw picture of pipe now. They installed the trap backwards and part they 'fixed' is disconnected from the house causing backup again. Called and they didn't call back. Found another company, T-Mark, who will warrant work for 10 years, will pull permits, and have work inspected by town at 2/3 the 'Kevin's' price which included none of that. I'm a fool parted with his money for using Kevin's. 11/18/25 - contacted Kevin's per his response. He says he does warranty his work and is coming out to inspect the issue. If his work is the cause, he says he'll fix it at no charge. He noted they're doing some office reorganizing and apologized for earlier call to them being dropped. 12/1/2025 - updating review to 5 stars. Kevin came out, inspected the area, pointed out on camera how the problem was in a different area than the one he had worked on (I could see on the camera he was correct), but he still agreed to resolve issue at his cost which was about half of the T-Mark quote. They just wrapped up the work and inspection. His warranty on the quote states: "Kevin's Plumbing provides a 10 year warranty on the pipe that we install. The warranty is transferable through the change of ownership of a home and only the remaining portion of the warranty period transfers-the warranty period does not reset in any way upon transfer, and the warranty period begins at the date of work completion and only when paid in full. This warranty may be transferred to future homeowners provided Kevin's Plumbing is notified within 30days of the real estate transfer. There are no other warranties, either expressed or implied, beyond this agreement."

All of my messages asking about the estimate were marked "read" but not responded to for now almost two weeks. Sucks but it is what it is. Edit: To respond to the reply from the business owner (because I'm will come with receipts), we called because it was 52 degrees and dropping in our house where we have animals. The furnace was running but not working. The guy came and told us to take up the carpet the seller placed over a vent that was causing our furnace to overheat and it started heating up immediately. And as for the state of our house, we did have numerous piles of boxes as we had just moved in a few days previous. Insinuating we're messy or something was extremely unprofessional and rude. Also I attached a picture of the time he offered us that was 4-6pm, he makes it sound like they came out at 8pm to fix it. I already messaged him privately telling him if he had come to me and told me he thought three stars was more fair I would have changed it but after that response he earned a one star. Edit 2: I did want to point out one last thing, even if we hadn't just moved in and we were just box hoarders or something it's a really awful mindset to have that we don't deserve y'all to come out and fix our heating when it's close to or in the negatives outside. I truly hope you can treat people with more kindness.

Alan then said sorry but he only has TWO techs that do Tankless water heaters. TWO! Sorry Seneca but you lost my business. It has been expanded upon however I never felt the need the change some of the original hardware concerning our heating/cooling registers. Replacement was relatively easy since I had purchased correct sizes from this place in the past. My husband was hell bent on changing a cold air return in our hall. It's a truly weird size. It is like 29 " x 6 3/4". I'm just quoting numbers since I don't feel like running out to measure the one register being replaced. I have done this before. When Seneca Plumbing was actually on Seneca Street. Since they've moved to their new location that have added a website and an email option -they don't respond so don't even bother. We, collectively, are not DIY'ers. I had emailed Seneca asking if they could order the exact size and never had a response. Hubby called and was told that this item could be 'SPECIAL" ordered and we would receive a call when it arrived. Can you believe that I received a call the very next day saying that my "SPECIAL" order was available for pick up??!! Snow was flying as I heading out to pick up the return of my dreams. Hubby waiting anxiously for that moment when the new one was screwed in placed. We held our breaths, I shagged the cats away from an opening that would require a heating/cooling specialist should any of them enter the suction tunnel. And then, gasp, the freaking thing did not fit!!!! TOO WIDE! Hubby attempted to get a saw and I "saw" $$$$$$ floating out of my wallet after I had a carpenter in to repair what hubby attempted. Bottom line, it's kinda jimmied in. Like everything else. Then I looked at the receipt. Seneca SOLD ME A STOCK ITEM. 30 x 6. At double the cost of home depot. It you can't do what you say, then don't. Don't feed me lies. This place will never see my business again. If you do do business here, double check everything that they sell you.
