Marks Plumbing in Tonawanda is as good as it gets, the receptionist (Miracle Mary) is efficient and caring, asks if you have an emergency before even if you are a returning customer. I called after 9 pm last evening, Mary told me someone would call in the morning to set things up. Since I was suffering from Sewer Backup and it could wait, I said ok. Like much of WNY today, I woke up to a basement full of water. Mark's Plumbing came highly recommended by my neighbors. I called at 8:20am, fully expecting them to be flooded with calls already (and they were) but the receptionist said they would definitely get to my house at some point today. To my surprise, one of the guys called just an hour later. They pumped all of the water out of my basement and replaced the sump pump (with a 3 year warranty!) + check valve in just 2 hours. I've never been able to find a plumber that was skilled and charged a fair price. Mark's is that plumber! Mark's installed a water back up pump and replaced my old primary sump pump. They also replaced a couple shut off valves, installed a new toilet, installed a shut off valve on our wash tub, and cleaned out my sewer line. There work was flawless AND Mark's was $950 cheaper than 2 other plumbers we got estimates from. Any time I have plumbing work in the future, Mark's will be the plumber I use! read more

They replaced all my cast iron pipes in the basement and came in below the estimate the gave me, not to mention they had it all done in a day and a half. They responded to my call in 5 mins, got to our house within an hour and were reasonably priced. The two young men in Mark's crew who came to the house were curtious and also caught a mistake left by another plumber years earlier that was dangerous (sewer fumes!) and sealed that off too after they cleared my sewer backup. On January 2 2019 I had someone come to my house to give me a estimate for a hanging sewer and new stack pipe he stopped by looked at it told me he need the walls and ceilings open to get a better idea of what needs done I took the walls down and opened up the ceiling called him back and was told that he was coming back on January 3,2019 had me settling all day waiting to hear from them no call or anything I called the office and texted him still no response I have 2 handicapped kids and now no way to shower them this company is a joke if I would of known this I would of never opened the walls and ceiling.!!! read more

We had Mark's Plumbing out to do gas line work and for that job I would have given this company 4 stars. However, we then needed a plumber for repair work on a tub drain. I have left 2 messages for a return call and he has not bothered to call back either time. I would not recommend this plumber for that reason. read more
