Bistec Street mini tacos (6 pcs)
Delanie K.

Food truck with a covered seating area. Simple menu serving fresh, hot ingredients. Multiple drink options. The first time I went, I liked the bistec better than the al pastor, but the second time I went, I liked the al pastor more. Maybe the 6 mini street tacos are just too much commitment and I need to split both options with a friend! My friend got the quesadilla and it was hefty. She doesn't like much spice and said both salsas were too much for her.

As a RGV native, I absolutely LOVED these tacos. Definitely up to par for my standards and would come back. My only issue was the price, 16.00 for six tacos and 3.50 for a side of beans, but that's standard for Austin prices. Also wished the cheese had more flavor.

6 Piece Street Mini Tacos (pastor, bistec)

The street tacos were so good. You can make it three instead of six! The bistec was tender and a great bite. The bistec wad more memorable than the pastor. Definitely recommend the bistec! For a Friday is slightly busy. About a ten minute wait. As for sauce, usually green is spicier (in Mex restaurants) but I would say red was spicier (paired well with bistec). The tortillas though, they were SOO good. It's difficult to find a good corn tortilla that doesn't break or clash with the taste of the meat but complemente in undertone. This is that. Plus the avocado and crema made the taco creamy. So yum. Definitely recommend for a late night bite!

Taco Pirata bien chiquito :(

$4 pirata taco, el más pedorro taco con bien poquita carne. Rico pero no suficiente para un almuerzo. (ordene 2 con frijoles charros)

We came here on a Friday evening before heading for drinks downtown. There was no wait when we arrived. The staff was friendly and took our order right away. However the food took extremely long to come out & our meal didn't even have meat. My quesadilla was supposed to have avocado however half way through I noticed it did not, I was hungry and we had somewhere to be so I did not bring it to their attention as at this point there were multiple people in line as well as waiting for their order. This is a typical food truck with picnic tables to eat at. The flavor of everything was fabulous , including the salsas, Pricing was good and I'll definitely stop by again if I'm the area. 5/5 for food 1 star taken away for wait time and missing ingredients.

I've gone twice now. Both times they had some excuse as to why they could not sell me their tacos. The food they did serve was of poor quality. This place is not worth my time or palate.

My one stop in Austin in you want 956 kind of tacos. Must try the tacos and the tostaditas!

My mouth is watering just looking at this pictures again. This taco truck left me wanting more! Their mini street tacos were packed with cheese and avocado and the salsa was also just the right amount of spicy. We don't play with salsa. We believe salsa can make it or break it, and I have no notes for Oye Taquito. Keep it up!

I'm not sure why this place isn't more packed. Some of the best street tacos you're going to find in Austin. Everything I've had here has been top notch.

I go back to San Antonio in shame! These quesa tacos are Ahhhh mazing! Even the lil salsa cups are phenomenal

Al Pastor 6 Piece Street Mini Tacos

I visited at 8 PM with a group of friends, and there was no line, which was a good start. I ordered two Al Pastor taco plates, along with beans and a Coke. Unfortunately, we noticed a strange smell in some areas of the seating area , but we brushed it off. After waiting for 25 minutes, my order was finally called, but only one taco plate had been rung up. When I brought this up, the cashier claimed it was because I requested no onions, which was not the case--I had asked for everything on my tacos. We had to pay for the missing order and wait an additional 20 minutes, despite the place not being busy. For such a long wait, I expected the food to at least be fresh and hot, but it wasn't. The tacos were good, but nothing special especially considering all the factors. Overall, the experience fell short, and the prices just don't justify the quality. I'd recommend Cuantos Tacos or other spots for better food and service.

So, so, so good!

Food was terrible. The beef flautas tasted like they came frozen from a big box store. Nothing tasted fresh nor made on the spot.

Love everything from Oye Taquito! The tostadas and tacos are by far my favorites. Clean Mexican food, not greasy or soggy.

Tacos al pastor have way too much seasoning which makes it salty. Aguas frescas are good I'll give them that.

As I was leaving my hotel I bumped into some coworkers outside and mentioned I was heading here for dinner. A person passing by overheard me and stopped to rave about how they're the best tacos you can get in Texas. The speakeasy feel was awesome and relatively easy to find despite this being my first visit to Austin. I had the carne asada tacos and they were delicious. I also ordered a side of chips and salsa but my weak tastebuds embarassingly couldn't handle the spice. Seating was limited but I was carrying out anyways. Will definitely return when I'm back in Austin!

Everything was seriously delicious, rich, and flavorful. The meat was juicy and tender, and they were very generous with the portions. If all the seats inside are taken inside the restaurant, you can dine in the bar area or outside in the alley. This taco speakeasy spot is so good, we came back the next day with our friends. We will definitely be back in the future!

I ordered 2 steak tacos and horchata, both very delicious. The horchata is milky and sweet but not crazy sweet, and topped off with cinnamon. The steak tacos came out pretty hot, fresh from the grill. I got them on corn tortillas and I'm glad I did: idk if they make them in house but somebody in some house is making these because they definitely aren't store bought, and if they are I want to know where! I tried the orange habanero and creamy serrano salsas. The habanero was spicy off the bat, while the serrano had more of a lingering burn. Both paired well with the steak. They have a little bar, too, though I did not imbibe this time. Seems like they have a decent selection of agave spirits, and even Campari behind the bar (iykyk). Give them a shot, and thank the ladies in the kitchen.
