My fiancé and I were on a road trip from Minnesota to Utah, our Jeep went into limp mode near Payson, Utah and we looked for the best place to bring it to near us and Payson Auto Care had great reviews. He was fully booked when we called but still told us to bring our vehicle in, scanned our car right away so we knew what to expect and helped us to get back on the road within a few hours. They had a small waiting area that was very clean with some chairs, TV and a bathroom! We also got some great recommendations that we could walk to nearby while we waited. The cost of our repair and labor was very reasonable and everyone was so helpful the whole way through. Thank you to Sean Pickup and his team for helping us get back to Minnesota safe and sound!

Was quoted for a few repairs which made sense for my vehicles age. I bought the truck due to the repairs being small. Wanted just peace of mind so I took it to TWO other shop for full inspections and was quoted for almost double the amount of work. Both shops quoted the same thing, not upselling. I took it back to McKell to get a few things done that fit within my schedule. I was scheduled at 12:00pm on a Wednesday to do some repairs. I dropped it off and waited until around 3:30 with no update. Went back to McKell to get an update and they havent even started working on it. I did not drop it off at 3:30 lol that's funny, owner. I was told the truck wasn't going to be worked on at all by the end of the day. Why schedule an appointment for me if you're not even going to work on it and waste my time. Owner tried to twist the story of my google review. McKell is not trustworthy.

We are so SO SOOOO grateful for this Automotive Repair Shop!!…read more Our previous mechanics weren't being honest with us and messed up some parts of our car so that they could charge us more for services and repairs! But it was also a blessing in disguise... because if it wasn't because of the dishonesty of the other mechanic shop.. we would've never came to C Jae's!! And they're sooo honest here!!! great people and amazing services!!! They helped us fixed the actual problem, fixed some more minor issues for free AND they have life time warranty for the major fixes that they did for us!! After coming back to the shop 3 hours later to pick it up, my car was not at the shop. Turns out they took the car to another shop in town who had the correct machines to get the job done. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time instead of seeing my car driven in to the shop from a different shop. Fast forward to now, my AC went out again several weeks ago and I'll need to take it in once more to inspect what is happening. While this service was cheaper then competitors I feel it may have been worth it in the long run to take it somewhere else because I'll end up paying more to get it done again anyway at this point.

Things were starting to wear out on it, but buying a newer car was not within the budget. At one point I could no longer unlock the Driver's side door from the outside or inside as the long metal arm between the locking peg and the lock itself broke off. No one made or sold that part anymore. I thought I'd have to finish my last year without a car, and then my first couple paychecks after that trying to get a newer one. The mechanics at Mitchell machined a new part and then installed it for about $20. The car saw me through commissioned officer training in the Air Force, and my young family to our first duty station on the East Coast. I'll always be grateful to Mitchell's for going beyond expectations, and at the same time being super understanding of where I was in my life, how needed the car was, and how limited of a budget I had.
