Unfortuanately, the start was the only good part working with Zac and Clint (Premium Surface…read moreSolutions sub contractor Exceed Construction). They made great suggestions for upgrades that were overall good, and of course increased the cost. However execution was not so good.. So many things weren't done according to contract, from thinner vaper barrier (6 mil not 10 as contracted, holes not covered), cement drying out before installed, came out in hard chunks (cement was here and they weren't here or ready for almost an hour), carboard buried in the cement pad, bringing subpar materials (premium topsoil was actually just dirt complete with garbage, pipe, broken glass, roots, etc dumped here from another site), missing gravel beneath the cement, cement edges for pool deck was to be 15-18" down the sides, most was 3"to 3.5". This has caused drainage and finish issues. They pushed off the finish and drainage issues to the ppainting crew (still not taken care of). I was offered yesterday that Premium Surface Solutions could add a drain to help fix the drainage issues, but of course for additional costs. We feel that they already owe us money for the issues they caused and not doing the job according to contract. They even set my yard on fire once, burned a tree and a drip system. Also took out the electric for the pool, even though it was buried right where we told them, took weeks for them to fix it. Poked holes in our pool cover. Basketball cement was to be 3 feet deep, but because they goofed on the court pour, they had sludge and the support could only go down at most 1 foot on one basket (fix was to add more rebar...). Overall, they talked good, but seemed to cut corners to save money, and Zac the site manager, was not on site, to make sure things were done according to contract. I keep getting told if we don't like it, they could fix it by doing soemthing else for additional costs, I just wanted it done according to contract, but too late since it is all cement...definitely overpaid for what we got.
