We have ordered egg Benedict the sauce on that is made of sour cream, which doesn't go well. The English muffin is chewy and dry. We also ordered French toast where we got a strand of hair we told them the same and asked for a replacement, we chose vegan wrap. they charged $2 extra when I asked they said it's for avocado. It is extra which they did not mention earlier I think they can be better organiz organiz they're so busy. We came in early after our flight. The space has indoor and outdoor seating. We were helped immediately. We ordered the chicken and waffles, chilaquiles with green chile and a golden waffle dog. The chicken was crispy, but more like chicken tenders than regular chicken. The chicken and waffles didn't really stand out. The chilaquiles had a nice light spice to it but the main star was the golden waffle dog. It was the perfect combo of sweet and savory and totally nostalgic. Glad I found this place! Parking is a smidgin sparase but you can park in a nearby garages. The inside is bright and pretty cheerful but minimalistic. Sage was our server and she was awesome. Didnt have time to just wait around; went elsewhere before our flights. Update: after a pleasant follow up conversation with mgmt team, which I didn't expect, and their wanting to ensure a future opportunity, bumped up to 3 stars until we can try out the offerings. Incredible breakfast spot with exceptional service. I don't have a single complaint and it's probably the only breakfast spot in Arizona that I like at the moment. The patio is nice, quiet, and spacious. Our server was very kind and attentive; he made our experience so enjoyable. He checked on us very often and made conversation throughout our meal. That is something you hardly see anymore with service workers. I love the protein bowl, it's my favorite menu item to start with. It's light, full of sautéed veggies, and the chicken sausage ties it all together. After the protein bowl, I like to move on to the protein waffle to share with whoever I'm with. It's crunchy yet soft, mildly sweet (which I love!!), and the blueberries add a nice refreshing bite. The Bloody Kicker, their spicy Bloody Mary, is so good. I'm very picky about my bloody Mary's and theirs is very close to how I like it. Sour, spicy, and revitalizing. The steak and eggs were nice, not too heavy, and the steak was seasoned well. When we got to the establishment, it was pretty busy, most likely an ASU Homecoming rush, but we were still seated right away and did not feel overlooked by the staff at all. The waiter was friendly and helpful, clarifying any questions we had about the menu. The ambiance was very nice, using bright colors to create a modern diner feel. They had optimal seating both indoors and outdoors, and the location is central and an easy walk for university students on campus. For the food, I ordered the breakfast tacos with a side of hashbrowns and a protein waffle. The breakfast tacos were delicious! They were like street tacos with an egg in them. So good! The protein waffle was also very good. It was tasty and exceeded my expectations, the taste and texture coming very similar to a regular waffle! (I typically don't like the taste of products with protein powder, but I'm kind of a gym rat so I get them anyway). My friend ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon and a side of French toast. She polished it all off, talking about how her sandwich had the perfect texture and the French toast was fluffy and flavorful without being too sweet. Yum, yum and YUM! We are from CA and had never heard of the Over Easy chain. We were looking for a nearby brunch spot near our hotel and were so lucky to find this place. The vibe is very cute and fun, staff is friendly and goes above and beyond and the food was so good! We ordered the Chilaquiles and the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and both did not disappoint.
