Busy location and the food is pretty good. We went here for weekend brunch. We were told it would take 45 minutes to be seated but got a table in 15 (Yay). I was horrified after we sat down that they seated us at a table that hadn't been cleaned. The hostess pointed out our table and walked away. As we started to sit down I noticed crumbs, rings of condensation from cups, etc. on the table. In the time of Covid it's not excusable. We were able to flag down someone after a couple of minutes to have the table cleaned and disinfected. The waitress was very apologetic. I will probably only return during less busy times to make sure things don't get missed. read more

I know what 2 shots feels like and that wasnt 2 shots i got. But they determined that it was ok to charhe me for four extra pours of watered down something. I took it out of the tip so its ok. I have been wanting to come and eat here for awhile now and I am so happy I did. The food was amazing and it wasn't too filling. Being on the Keto I got the Avocado Benedict and it was really good. I like how I didn't have to get the fruit on the side and was able to sub it for cottage cheese instead with no extra charge. My boyfriend got the ham steak which he really liked and the ham was delicious. The service was prompt and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that it was a little pricey for breakfast. This franchise has a lot going for it from all the luxurious investments they make into the aesthetic and functionality of the restaurant. I always enjoy their food. And there's something to be said about a breakfast joint that can satisfy the needs of everyone including the morning alcoholic. My only issues with this location are that the "large" size cups of orange juice are really just 8 oz cups, granted there's no ice so that helps their case a teensy bit. It's relatively disappointing when you pay $6 a cup. My other issue lies in the obvious bug problem this location has, there are so many flies lingering in the restaurant it undoubtedly takes a toll on your experience at Over Easy. This place had so much potential on paper. First great staff. Great atmosphere. Great coffee. Corn Beef hash not so much...again had promise. Potatoes so far from not crispy. Under cooked. Also, if your not going to butter my toast at least bring soft butter. Because by the time the toast gets to the table the toast is Luke warm and with hard butter???? I'm quite sad that I have write this review! I looked forward to eating here especially after all of my friends have been checking in lately {even bookmarked it on yelp}. I do want to say I had high hopes and heard good things about this place so we just might have went on an "off day". This is my first time at any Over Easy - they have four locations however this is the first one I have been to. I went with the hubby this morning - a rainy Saturday. The place was in a little strip mall right on the corner. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice. It is an open floor plan and I felt like I was in a diner. The place wasn't crowded at all... We were there with maybe three other peeps. First I noticed that they left their doors open. I could see if it was a beautiful day outside but it was cold and rainy. So I had to leave my sweater on inside. Ok-no big deal. Then they opened the only other door that was closed. So now I was scratchin' my head as to why they wanted to freeze us to death... {kidding..} Menu was cool. They have some cool items and some odd ball stuff. I ordered a pink lemonade that was garnished with rosemary which was a little odd but I still sucked it down. Hubby ordered coffee and his words "ehhh its gross" but he still slammed it down. Next, I ordered "The Crying Pig" {an omelette} and the hubs ordered the corned beef & hash. My "home fries" that came with my omelette were cold {not good}. The omelette was huge but the meat was sure greasy. I also ordered some apple butter with my toast. I would not recommend ordering this if you are accustom to eating normal apple butter as this was pretty much like slathering applesauce on your bread. So I was disappointed. In addition, our waitress never got me a refill or offered water which would have been nice. She was busy cleaning the dinning area which also is nice but we still would have like to have a little bit more attendance. My hubs corned beef and hash was more corned beef than hash {waitress said it was 90/10 on the corned beef} so he was prepared but what he wasn't prepared for is the onion that was in the mix. And a lot of it. He said that was weird and didn't taste right. Who knows maybe they got a new cook or still trying to train the ones they have now. We weren't thrilled by any means and figure out "Crackers" or "The Farmhouse" or even "TC Eggingtons" will be much rather eaten than here. I had gone a second time to give their caramelized banana french toast a chance to makeup for last times visit. As you can see by my rating. The french toast was good but something that i wouldn't say is caramelized for beginners and then I can easily make this stuff at home for half the price. My friend had ordered the reeeses pancakes and said it taste like a normal pancakes with hints of reeses bites every couple of bites. Think this will have been my final visit. read more

I will no longer visit this location, as I am so spoiled by the phoenix staff, food, and overall experience that I cannot subject myself to this location ever again. I have given it three chances to win me over, but on all occasions there have been issues with the visit. I am unsure if it is due to being in Gilbert, which does not scream standards, unless of course your measuring stick is being married with three kids, but something is consistently wrong, so I must bid this location adieu. Food quality & Consistency is sub par. Staff is unfriendly, and twice has tried to hustle our party out by bringing the check prior to it being asked for and without our food being finished from our plates. No refills offered, which is weird given that I believed it customary to at least ask once the level of liquid in a cup reaches a certain level. Check came out with the wrong charges even after I corrected the server (not a big deal, but come on) Hostess seated us behind a swinging door to the patio even with multiple other tables being an option; Although, Some were dirty (clean them! It's pretty standard to do so when customers leave) I hate to rip an establishment I love, but this place has missed the mark entirely. He had been wanting to check this place out but thought the only one that existed was in Arcadia. I mentioned I had driven by the one on Warner and since we had other plans in Tempe that day, we decided to check it out. We arrived around 9:30am on a Friday and were promptly seated. During our time there, an hour or so, it really filled up. I ordered the chiliquilles. I asked our server what he recommended between those and the corned beef hash. The serving was large and I filed up quickly. The chips stayed crunchy through the whole meal...nothing worse than soggy chips. Blech! Not wanting to get loaded first thing in the morning (and therefore sleepy), we chose to split a Mary's en Fuego. Jalapeno vodka, Bloody Mary mix, bacon bits, Old Bay rim. YUM! It was spicy and so, so good. Highly recommended. On the next visit we brought the kids. They loved their pancakes. This time I went with the corned beef hash. Meh. I came back a 2nd time and brought a different friend with us. We still came on a Saturday at around 11 am and while it was busy, we got seated right away. I went big and got the Wolfpack Club which is the original Wolfpack but more bacon, an extra layer of hash browns and 2 more eggs. The price of this bad boy was $16.50. The original Wolfpack sells for $8.99 (I believe). I was full but was it worth the money? Kind of. Instead of cheese it was topped it with I'd rather have the country sausage gravy on it instead. So for $16.50, I'm going to get the Wolfpack (PlanetCabo style). I will get the Wolfpack minus the cheese and get an order of biscuits and gravy and marry the 2 together. BAM! A star is born. One of these days I will try their brioche french toast but my new concoction is calling me first. read more

This place is like, so good, but like, so bad. It all tastes so good and in my head I was screaming "Amanda stooooop! You're full! Just take it hooomme!" But I couldn't take it home. I couldn't. I was about to get on a plane and I didn't want to be carrying a to-go box full of food on the plane, because well, that's too much work. So I ate everything. I ate the fried chicken on top of that waffle with maple syrup and I helped my boyfriend eat his eggs benedict that clearly had some sort of crack sauce on it because it tasted so good. And then I was even more full. But it was worth it. So, the food here is delicious and yummy and good, and the portions are big and awesome. Actually, pretty good! I ordered the "Hopple Popple" which is a mix of ham, onions, peppers and eggs mixed up with eggs scrambled and all is put on the grill. The only thing I would have loved to put it over the top is some good ol' Cheddar Cheese because it needed seasoning and that salty cheddar would have been great. I would have also added in Jalapeños for some spice instead of dripping on Cholula. Lots of other "different" menu items to choose from so be prepared to read. As a suggestion to moment who might read the review involved in Over Easy operations a cole suggestions are turn the music down a little. With the hard floors and open area it's difficult to carry on a conversation. The menu would be much better served with photos of e menu items so people can decide easier what they want or may want to add to a dish. Visuals go a long ways. read more

Over Easy, Over Schmeasy. This place is always rated highly and has made the food TV rounds but that was not my experience.  The line/wait was substantial and when seated it was outside.  In Arizona, its hot, its just hot so that was somewhat uncomfortable.  The waitress was very nice but couldn't do much to help the additional wait for food.  When it did finally arrive, mine came late and although I had asked for the omelette to come scrambled, it didn't make it to the table that way.  Also there was a lot of chunky cheese in it...too much for me.  The best I could call breakfast was okay and the was mostly because of the waitress and the Papago Orange Blossom beer they still had on tap.  Did not live up to the hype in my opinion read more
