I finally had the pleasure of dining at Ouzo Bay, celebrating close friends being in town. Everything was absolutely outstanding. We were able to get a table outside on a perfect night and were treated with 5 star service from our server Ingrid. Drinks were top notch, as were the appetizers, and entrees. Yes the menu is a little "pricey" but you get what you pay for. I suggest trying any of the Souvlaki dishes for those that want to keep their costs low. I had the lamb and the portions were huge and the meat was top quality. Ouzo bay exceeded all expectations and I am looking forward to my next date night with my wife to try additional menu items. read more

Consider this place overpriced - decent, but at most you'll get a good view. Lamb meatballs (pictured) were good, but again.. overpriced. Same thing for the pineapple mojito I got, overpriced. Is it worth it? Mmmm, I'd say no to be honest. It's a nice location, good place to walk before or after sitting - it is walking distance from many entertaining spots, including Camden Yards and the surrounding bars. read more

A friend and I stopped by here after a happy hour bar hopping, the scenery caught both of our attentions, especially with the setting facing the water, between that and the breeze it makes for a beautiful summer dining experience. There was a wait however for outdoor seating and the place is frost come first served. It wasn't a long wait (maybe about 15 minutes), but it's like a night club where you literally wait in line to be let in. Once seated we ordered cocktails, I had an old fashioned and another drink afterwards both were pretty good. For dinner we ordered the lamb shank and truffled mac and cheese. The shank was good, but cold by the time it got to us. I know red meat typically needs to be cooled before serving but I think they had it sitting out for at least 30 minutes before serving us. Seeing the other reviews for this place I'll definitely try it again to see if maybe the first time was a fluke. read more

Me and my partner have been wanting to try this place for a long time. Sadly the seating area near the bay is closed in the winter, but opens for spring and summer. We had our first opportunity to sit down, enjoy the view, and try out some of there delicious drinks. It a beautiful bar area, with immaculate views. The place was covered for shade, but had plenty of light shining through. We had the opportunity to try a couple of drinks from the handcrafted cocktails. Each drink showing a attention to detail for presentation and taste. The wait staff was informative, attentive, and nice. I loved our experience and look forward to going again before the summer ends. read more

We decided to stop here just to check out the food on this hot summer day just to get a drink and appetizers. We ended up getting the grilled calamari, which was so tasty. It was filled with capers, feta. And a honey mustard vinaigrette, which was poured over the Calamari and salad. It was so flavorful and delicious. The waiters recommended this amazing dish, and she was spot onWe sat at the outside bar, which had a decent view of the city. . The playlist they played was also very chill and laid back. I'm a huge fan of Mediterranean and Greek food. Ouzo Bay has been here for years and Im so glad I was finally able to make reservations to dine here. My friend and I ordered the flaming saganaki, grilled Portuguese octopus, Australian lamb chops and the Aegean Bronzino. The food was absolutely delicious. I'd get the saganaki if you like cheese. The lamb chops and Bronzino were cooked to perfection. The chops came with this thick cauliflower steak with an amazing balsamic reduction. Service was awesome here as we sat at the bar and chatted up with the bartenders. The ambience is great here as its dim lighting and they feature outdoor seating. I'll definitely be back to try their lamb shank and lobster dishes. If you want quality Mediterranean food this is your spot. They have everything to satisfy your cravings. Parking is very easy to find as theres garage, street and valet as well. Highly recommend making reservations in advance as this place got packed further into the evening read more

Very very disappointing meal today. The restaurants quality is going down each time I go. But after today, I will not be going back. My salmon with risotto or orzo was so salty, I gagged. Lamb meat balls were so dry, naan was flavorless. Lastly, baklava was trash - most surprising, as I took a bite I was really wondering where did they go buy it? I'm a dessert fanatic, I will travel for some deliciousness and the baklava I have had from Turkey and then also in Washington, DC is absolutely amazing. I was so disappointed to even take a bite. This is prolly the worst out of all Atlas restaurants. Problematic! read more

The food was pretty good and the ambiance was lovely. Service was good, but it was a slow night so I am not sure what a normal weekend look like. When my party arrived there was a strong mildew smell. Sort of like an old mop. I was told it wasn't. Idk but we gave it a try. Not bad. Just the initial smell. read more

We came here for a large dinner party and everything was delicious! I especially liked the spanikopita which was probably the best I've ever had! Super flaky and moist I would definitely get this again. Their meatballs were moist and really good too. I thought their zucchini crisps were just ok. My halibut dish was delicious! It was perfectly cooked, very moist and flaky- I would get this dish again too! My dinner mates who got the scallops and lamb leg seemed to really enjoy their dishes too. Overall a great dining experience - it helped that we were in a quiet room and could have a good conversation. Nice service too! read more

Nice little spot on the waterfront. Their bar across the street probably has a better water view. Very limited on the patio. Just had apps. The zucchini chips were great. The yogurt dip added a great flavor. Although by the time you slowly get to the bottom it was a bit soggy. Don't pass this up though as an option. Also tried the brussel sprout salad. The ingredients were a bit too chopped up for me. It was ok. Also had the flaming saganaki cheese (lighter and alcohol equals flames!) It was good with the pita chips. Always lots of fun with this unique presentation (opah!). read more

This spot feels like a 6.5/10. The service was great, definitely not knockin that, everyone was friendly and accommodating. We originally sat outside at Ouzo Bay's "Ouzu Beach" so we could chill by the water but we moved back inside when the server told us that Happy Hour was only served inside. The food is what makes this spot subpar, wasn't bad but nothin amazing. The phyllo of the Spanakopita was flaky and buttery but the ratio compared to the massive amount of spinach/feta filling felt off. The tuna and avocado in the Tuna Tartare tasted fresh but the dish was too acidic. But still solid. The Ceviche was disappointing; besides being too acidic like the Tuna Tartare, the fish looked kind of gray and unappealing. Tasted fresh and tangy, but kinda looked like canned tuna. The bartender recommended the date and goat cheese spread. I don't really mess with goat cheese, but this was interesting. The spread was definitely sweet from the dates, it almost dessert-like. Didn't have much of a cheesy taste. Downside was the celery and carrots, both of which were sort of limp and just not fresh. Do wanna say that the $7 red and white Sangrias were the best part of Ouzo Bay, the pours were big and they were juicy. Felt like you got two drinks for $7 for real, I'd come back for those and the friendly staff. read more

For dinner I decided to finally try out Ouzo beach, which is an extension of Ouzo bay, but still offers the same great menu. It's located outside by the water, with more of a lounge vibe compared to the dining room. The outside is nicely decorated and features a large bar with a few high tops and a bunch of half booth style tables. This place is on the expensive side, so I recommend coming here for date night or a special occasion. I haven't had the pleasure of trying their happy hour, but they do offer it Sunday through Friday from 3-7 pm with a variety of drink and food deals. I'll definitely be coming early enough next time to check it out. I had the delicious Rosé All Day cocktail, which was the perfect combination of bitter and sweet. We started off with the mussels and the charred calamari, both of which were Mediterranean style and delicious. I ordered the 8oz filet Mignon which had a garlic, herb butter on it. It was just enough to give it a great flavor without overpowering it. I just wish that the filet would have came with sides, but after starting with the apps I was full by the end of the meal. I will say that one thing that was lacking a little bit was the service. They started off very attentive to us, but after getting our apps it took our medium rare entrees about 45 minutes to come out and we waited a bit for the waiter to come back to get us some more drinks. Maybe they were just understaffed, but I thought for a Monday night it would have been quicker. Overall I still recommend checking this place out! read more

To Ouzo Bay for its Greek/ Mediterranean cuisine in the Harbor East area of Baltimore. I start with the signature Lamb Meatballs, followed by the best Australian Lamb Chops ever! This is such a great dining restaurant. They have a fantastic hh at the bar that I've really enjoyed. This last time was a dinner date. We were seated by a window but the seats were a bit uncomfortable and we wanted to be further in the restaurant. The host was accommodating and moved us in to a half booth which was better. We started off with drinks - Olympian's Delight for me (it was light and refreshing) and an Old Fashioned for him. For apps, we went with the Flaming Saganaki (always a fun app here!) and the Lamb Meatballs. You do need to eat the saganaki dish while it's warm because it will get hard to chew once it cools down. I ordered the Bronzino for my main entree and my date got the dorado. Both came out deboned and cooked perfectly. We also shared the Lima Beans as our side but couldn't eat too much as we were both quite full from everything else. By this point, we had ordered another round of drinks. I went with a cosmo but it came out super red and tasted of too much cranberry juice. Our server was gracious to take it back and have it remade. The second time still wasn't what it should have been (the bartender must not know how to make a cosmo which is lighter color in pink, not ruby red and without so much cranberry juice) but it was fine so I left it at that. We still wanted something sweet to end our meal so we shared the Galaktoboureko which was my first time trying it. It was very sweet but was a great dessert to end with. I do highly recommend Ouzo Bay. The staff are very friendly and so accommodating. The food tasted great and the whole ambience here is just super nice. Definitely check it out! read more

Ouzo Bay was a wonderful dining experience. We had the pleasure of dining there on Labor Day. The ocean blue interior was relaxing and romantic, and everything glowed in blue. The service was exceptional. We started with their signature fresh bread with oil. I loved the golden raisins in the bread, it gave a light sweetness to the bread. To drink: We enjoyed a glass of Dr. Loosen, Riesling, and a couple of Old Fashions. The fish is fresh and prepared to order. We both selected the Aegean Bronzino. It was my first time trying this delicate but flavorful fish. It was scrumptious and has become my favorite fish. The sides were a la carte, and we selected the grilled vegetables. I had a great night, and this restaurant was a great choice. read more

Their drinks are really good. I had two margaritas for $30. Their food is delicious but its a bit pricey for my liking. They have an Ouzo Bay and Ouzo beach. Bay is inside and beach is outside facing the harbor across the street from bay. This is a nice upscale restaurant and the menu matches it. I had the lamb shank which was seasoned and cooked to perfection with their rice and peas. I was going to skip out on the rice and peas but the waiter recommended it and I wasn't disappointed. The lamb was falling off the bone. Their grilled asparagus was cooked to perfection and nicely seasoned. The vibe was very upscale so dress appropriately. Sorry about the picture but I tore that plate up and then remembered to take a picture after. This place is definitely a once in a blue moon type of place for those of us that are poor. Perfect date/birthday night spot! It was my first time at Ouza Bay. I live in DC but came to spend the night in Baltimore for my friend's birthday. She loves seafood and Ouza has some great options so I made a reservation at 5:30pm for Saturday. We lucked out and found street partying right out front, though we thought the $9 valet was very fair. Though we arrived ten minutes early, we were seated right away with a great view of the water. We were greeted with a birthday card which was such a nice surprise. Our server, Justin took care of us for two hours. We started off with a drink each, Phane's Poison and Mad & Minotaur, both recommended by Justin which were delicious, not too sweet and just tart enough. For our appetizer we got daily ceviche which was fresh fresh fresh and oh so yummy! Oh wait, I forgot the bread they serve when you first get there. That was good, too. One was raisin bread which was a nice surprise. We probably could've stopped after the drinks and appetizer but of course we ordered entrees. She got the Bronzino, bones in, adding truffle lobster which literally melted in your mouth. I got the scallops which were tasty though I could have done without the pea purée (not a pea fan). We went in with the sides, ordering grilled asparagus, Greek Lima beans (probably my fave appetizer which is crazy because I did not expect these to be good), and truffle Mac and cheese. Oh my goodness, everything was amazing! We ordered one more drink and Justin surprised the birthday girl with a generous piece of baklava and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on a pistachio crust. I am a tough cookie so to be this impressed the entire meal is unlike me but everything was truly perfect. Thank you Ouza for making her birthday dinner wonderful! read more

Update: Ate hear for the 1st time since the pandemic last Friday. This was one of my top 10 Baltimore restaurants pre pandemic so I was excited to eat here with some friends celebrating my birthday. I did enjoy the ambiance of Ouzo Beach. I still say pre pandemic that those scallops were some of the best I'd ever had. I really sympathize with the restaurant industry and try to extend much grace to them as it has been a very tough time on all of us. With that said when you are at a certain price point you still expect great quality. My most recent meal didn't blow my socks off. The spanakopita was fresh and tasty but my lobster Mac was giving me Kraft vibes (Cost north of $30). The lamb chops were also just ok not the flavor bomb that I remember. Mehh!  I've been waiting to try to this place.  It fell short of my expectations.  I think a few others felt that way on my visit as well because in the 2 hours or, so we were sitting there we noticed quite a few people leave right after just 1 cocktail.  Some with appetizers.  Some without. Any who ... We came in on a Sunday afternoon, after brunch time.  We started with Gin Bombay Martinis, extra olives, no Vermouth.  They were great!  Appetizers we went with Lamb Meatballs with tomato sauce and feta and Grilled Portuguese Octopus. The lamb meatballs came out room temperature and were dry.  I'd pass on them next time.  I tried the grilled Octopus but didn't like. My friend enjoyed it but wouldn't get it again.  I liked Taglita's Grilled Octopus so much better. Entrees: I ordered the Scallops. Tasty, nothing special.  My friend ordered the Chilean Sea Bass.  I loved it, again served room temperature.  It was served with crushed olives.  I love olives in cocktails and salads only, not food, so I didn't order that dish but enjoyed trying it.  We also shared a side order of grilled vegetables.  They came out hotter than anything else we ordered.  The grilled vegetables mainly consisted of eggplant, red onions, and red peppers. Once we ordered our second Bombay Gin Martinis the server let us know that was the last of the Bombay (on a Sunday afternoon), so we wrapped things up shortly after.  We've heard many mixed reviews about Ouzo Bay fromt eh food to the service, we experience no issus what so ever with service. Everything was fine there. The solid 3 stars is for the food really. I'd pass on a second visit. read more

This place is a huge rip off. The prices are so steep and they don't let you have the happy hour menu unless it's inside at the bar even when there's a BAR outside and NO ROOM at the one inside! You'd think they'd accommodate? I even asked and they wouldn't. It wasn't even busy in terms of tables as it was 6:15. Didn't end up eating there because the manager was rude but from what I saw it was not impressive in terms of food or portions. Never will go back. Way better Greek places around. The whole vibe is tAcKy. I'm Greek and they lost a customer with a big family! read more

The food at Ouzo was exceptional. We ordered the muscles as an appetizer. It comes in a red sauce that you're going to want to finish with bread. It was a very mild, non-acidic sauce. We ordered the Doral fish as an entree. I'm not a connoisseur but I will say that I will order it again. Our waiter was Jose. He made great recommendations and was very attentive. I wanted to address some of Ouzo's negative reviews, which I believe are unfair. There were at least nine people of color eating there and I witnessed no racism whatsoever towards them, only the same great service. read more

We were looking for a spot that was quiet enough to have conversations and outside to enjoy the beautiful night. We walked here since our conference hotel was nearby. We had drinks, hummus, potatoes, spanakopita and fish. Everything was flavorful and tasty. Beautiful space inside and outside with no loud music drowning out the ambiance. read more

OUZO BEACH REVIEW Wait: None, we arrive like right at 4pm. Server: They were nice and helped when we needed it. We are pretty low maintenance and just went to grab a drink and catch up. Food Quality& Order: My gal pal and I just did drinks this time! We both ordered the Rosé All Day. It was pretty good. PRO TIP, take your photos as soon as you get it to honor that ombré effect... then mix it up or all of the "syrup" sits at the bottom. You'll thank me later for that one! Atmosphere& Decor: Greece vibes anyone? Yes. They managed to make you feel like you're hidden from the rest of Baltimore. It truly feels like you're at a more upscale beach bar. Great job, it's beautiful and relaxing. Can't wait to come visit again. read more

Food/drinks/ambiance 5 stars, service 3 stars The ambiance and decor of this place are top notch and definitely make you feel like you're eating somewhere expensive. The MVP was the guy by the entrance who kept an eye out for us for the seat that we wanted under the roofing. We came here on a Saturday night so it was pretty packed. The service was quite slow and we had to keep flagging down a server to order, check in on our order, and pay for the bill, which made our dinner take a lot longer than we would have preferred. The food however was delicious and with excellent presentation (especially the flaming cheese dish!) The drinks here were delicious-- they are on the pricier side, but worth it if you're looking for a drink with more pizazz. The Bronzino was very good-- tender, flavorful, and reasonably priced for the amount of fish you are getting. The dish is still on the lighter side, so don't expect this entree alone to fill a hungry stomach. Heads up-- there may be some bones here and there just because you are eating an entire fish. The flaming cheese dish came on a hot plate that the server poured some liquid on and lit on fire before serving it to us. If you like dishes with showy presentations that you want to record on video and show your friends, this is definitely a great dish to order. Not to mention this dish is very shareable and is probably too much cheese for one person anyways. The Chilean Sea Bass was excellent. The fish itself flakes off effortlessly and the sauce it comes with is very flavorful. I wish the portion size was larger for the price, but you are really paying for this cut of high-end fish. If you are hungry, don't expect this dish to fill you up, but if you have a small stomach, this is the perfect dish for you! read more

Overall I had a good experience at Ouzo Bay, but I will say I think the portion sizes don't match the prices. It's a swanky, contemporary styled restaurant on Lancaster Street across from the water in Harbour East. (This area has made a name for themselves as they have become a trendy spot for dining, lodging, shopping, and even living.). The location is fabulous, the decor/design is lovely and the host desk staff and Manager greeted us with smiles. We were eating at 6:15, before the Friday night crowds came in, so it was not crowded...which I love during the pandemic. All staff were masked, and lined up to assist the waitress. The waitress was sweet and made many visits to our table. Assistants refilled our water. Our table was wiped in between appetizers and our entres. The manager came to ask if all was okay. The food was very pricey. I must have viewed the wrong menu online because the prices on the actual menu were higher. My husband's sea bass was tasty but at $46 it wasn't big enough. The entrees are a la carte so he had to order the grilled veggie side dish separately. He also got the Brussels sprout salad which was nice, but again not cheap. I had the Arcadian salad and chicken orzo soup, which was pretty good but didn't have that "wow"factor. They also didn't need to be so expensive. If I were rating the food only, I would give 3 stars. But the tremendous customer service boosted the score. I may come back for brunch or apps. But since we gravitate more toward steaks when we splurge, I don't know if we will do dinner again at Ouzo. read more

This week dined w/ six others at Ouzo Bay in celebration of a graduation, and the experience was excellent. *Shout-out to our waitress, MS. The Grilled Calamari was perfect. The trio of hummus, tzatziki, and roasted eggplant was delicious and great to share; the country bread and pita were plentiful. Everyone in my party loved their food!!! Also, great Greek wine. Lastly, overall accommodation of my party of seven was great; twice I modified my reservation to add persons, and the evening of dinner requested to modify time of arrival by thirty minutes. Again, I thank the restaurant for their accommodation and hospitality. I cannot wait to return to Ouzo Bay. read more

Recently stopped in for happy hr. They did not disappoint. I loved the decor and vibe especially. While here I sipped on the cava and gnoshed on the following: Charred Calamari: Tender, juicy and perfectly cooked. Tuna Tartar: heavenly. Tuna was super fresh and the yuzu sauce add another layer of flavor. I'll say they need to come off another pita circle though. You get a lot of tuna. Not complaining about that but, moreeee pita Spanakopita: Delish! Although, i suggest eating this while it's fresh. It gets a bit heavy as it cool. Will definitely stop in again! read more

Came here with a friend for dinner, and we ordered a bunch of appetizers to split and share. It was amazing! Spanakopita This appetizer was delicious. Unlike the spanakopita I typically have, there were very few layers of phyllo pastry; there was only the top and bottom sheet surrounding the spinach, leek, feta filling. It was so creamy and flavourful! House spreads We ordered three to share: hummus; date, goat cheese, herb; and skordalia. Each was cutely adorned with capers and a couple olives. The hummus was by far my favourite. It had the perfect level of saltiness and flavour, and I found myself just shovelling scoop after scoop into my mouth! My second favourite was the skordalia, an almond blend. This one had a slightly sweeter aftertaste, but was still great. The last one - date, goat cheese, herb - was much sweeter than the others. While also yummy, this tasted more like a dessert spread than a main! Watermelon Feta Salad After all those toasted pita pieces, it was great to have a lighter, tangy salad to balance things out. The watermelon feta salad, with its sweet, salty, and sour profile, really hit the spot! Grilled Calamari They forgot this order, and so we were super stuffed by the time we followed up. Nevertheless, the squid smelled so incredibly good and yummy that I still ate it - and, in fact, consumed it in record time! my vegetarian friend just sat awestruck by my speed. A very good meal - and I'd highly recommend coming here with others to share the many varied appetizers! read more

We were here on Saturday night - still traveling with the big group of 13. This was such a fun place. The laughter started right away as we were seated and continued through the entire meal. Our server was Anna. She's very good at her job! She answered all our questions. She went the extra step when my brother-in-law decided not to order the chicken orzo soup- she brought him a small taste in a mug so he could see fit himself that it was good. He ended up ordering a bowl of the soup. Genius on her part! The starters were the house spread trio (all delicious), the Greek village salad, and the Flaming saganaki. Excellent choices. My husband had the lobster soup and loved it. The entrees included the Hawaiian Kona Kampachi - it is huge as well as quite tasty. I think the whole table tried it, the Dover sole, the seared scallops, the Bucatini pasta (this was Amazing!), the lamb chops, grilled half chicken, lobster Mac n cheese, and grilled vegetables. Everyone raves about their meals. I think only the Mac n cheese has enough left for a take out container. We ordered 2 bottles of wine, 1 white 1 red. They were both wonderful. I was most impressed with the little things- Anna bringing the soup, my daughter and I were sharing entrees which came out already portioned! That's service! Definitely will make this a stop next time I'm in the area. read more

First time here and I had a late lunch on the patio. For a Sunday, luckily they were not too busy. They give you some bread and olive oil to start. I got a cava then ordered some grilled octopus and ceviche. Grilled octopus tasted exactly as you'd think it would..grilled octopus lol.
