RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 4.5 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 4 | Price: 3 PARKING Parking is free and ample. LOCATION/AMBIANCE This small restaurant is located in the same building as Kountry Korral. Just like the name says, it has outlaw memorabilia scattered throughout. The seating arrangements are mainly for small groups or couples. THE GRUB They have a pretty nice selection of items on their menu. I was anticipating a large protein-filled dinner later in the evening, so I opted for the New Mexican salad ($16.29). I highly recommend this salad with jalapeño Ranch dressing... it was fresh and loaded with so many wonderful colors and flavors: fresh greens, tomato, onion, shredded cheese, croutons, tortilla chips, pico de gallo, and guacomole. My kiddos begged me to bring them spaghetti for our Friday lunch date at school. You can order this kid's menu item with meat sauce, plain sauce, or with meatballs. My daughters both loved their meatballs. Each plate came out to $11.97 and did not come with anything else - no bread, side salad, or drink. Kind of steep if you ask me. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUB They definitely have a decent kid's menu, however, I didn't get any photos of it. Next time! SERVICE Very friendly over the phone. Quick to assist in person. They had my takeout ready for me when they said they would. MY FAVORITE PART... The New Mexican salad. I'd probably add steak next time. NOT SO FAVORITE PART... Higher-priced entrees. TIP Phone orders are ready for takeout within about 20 minutes.

If your looking for some delicious food with a side of great service then definitely stop on by!…read more We arrived a little past the lunch time rush so there was only a few other people there. The cashier quickly greeted us and told us a quick rundown about what they had, and where to order. There was so much food to pick from and it was hard to pick just one meal. I ended up ordering half a chicken with mashed potatoes and a potato salad. My husband ended up ordering three crunchy brisket tacos. We sat down and people kept trickling in. Our food didn't take too long and a different employee dropped it off. She was also very friendly and attentive. My chicken was delicious and HUGE. I couldn't finish it, so I had to take it on home. The sides are small, but they also accompanied my dish with a bread roll, some barbecue sauce, and a jalapeño with onions. My husband loved his brisket tacos and loved them even more after he poured some bbq sauce on top. They are also a market so they sell a lot of goods, fresh meat, and dairy. The inside is small but it all flows great. The fresh meat all looked of great quality and prices are reasonable! Can't wait to be back to try something else!

Margarita was same, just kind of a average. Service was kind of uninterested and got one order wrong, which meant we had to wait longer. Partner had a French Dip, reportedly pretty good. That said, maybe Cattle Barron'd reputation has outlived it for me.

Alex was by far the best server I have had in Hobbs to date. Why? He was very attentive. Did not forget a thing. Had a sense of humor. Never scowled. Constantly smiled. Moved around so he could hear our party of - how many was there? I think 17. I do not love the food here, but this time my country fried sirloin was not overcooked and the gravy was good. Thank you bartend for taking care of my mom before our reservation! She had a "Kicker" margarita which features "a, often blue, tube filled with tequila and triple sec, up-ended into the drink to slowly add more alcohol." I think it was my dad's idea. Lol. She loved it.

How it works... you either sign in or let the hostess know how many. The lobby area is tiny. There are seats but you'll probably have to share a bench. They accommodate large parties of it seems up to 12. I kept hearing that number. Lol. On 7.11.2025, I was seated at a a quieter area by myself. Reba took over as my waitress. She is the sweetest little ol' lady! She brought me fresh rolls. Even one to-go before I left. The buffet seemed interesting, but I wanted the 8 oz. ribeye steak ($16.95 with a side & a salad bar visit). They served it in a reasonable amount of time, medium rare. It was perfect. Good fatty pieces to keep it juicy. Reba asked me if I wanted steak sauce. No thanks. Not needed. Before that I visited the salad bar. It's a decent salad bar. The ladies refresh it often and tidy it up. I just don't like the tight fit and the cords in the way on the floor if you have to use the other side like I did. The steamed broccoli with my steak was fine. I had sweet tea to drink ($2.75). All that food for just a little over $21... I'm a fan!
