Free refills. The service is okay. There is usually at least 5 people waiting in line at the drive-thru. And lots of Eunice people seem to pick up their orders to go. But we like sitting inside where it's nice and cool. The TV may be set to a ball game or the news. Honestly, the neatest thing I like is the table tops. Local advertisements are lacquered on them. Because I grew up around the area and am familiar with most of the companies, it's funny to look at the bad designs of the ads. Blake's, established in 1952, is famous for incorporating green chile into their offerings. There are several scattered throughout the Land of Enchantment as well as a few in Tucson, AZ, and El Paso, TX. I personally recommend the Lota breakfast sandwich with sausage ($6.71). It entails two eggs omelette-style with cheese and your choice of sausage or bacon topped with green chile, served on a soft, smooth buttery bun. Good filler for all-day-on-your-feet days! For lunch, I would opt for the green chile cheeseburger, no mustard and add mayo. It pairs nicely with onion rings. The drive-thru line can get snake-like long through the weird parking lot. Their drive-thru speaker works pretty well - the best working in town! The staff members are mostly friendly, although, check your orders before you drive off beause they don't always get it right. They usually do, but when they don't, it's been bad. TIP Use the app to order for pickup either at a mobile parking spot or drive-thru. Your order will be ready within 10 minutes.
