It's a great place to grab a burger or burrito plate--a flashback to The Little Store.

My little brother claims that their food isn't as good as it used to be. It's a bit of a dive place, but there are hardly any other choices in Eunice. It still tastes the same to me. Thin burger patties like I like them. Crispy tater tots like I like them. They have that nice pea-sized ice that is funny to chomp on too. Oh, and their sodas have always been fresh. All fizz. Free refills. The service is okay. There is usually at least 5 people waiting in line at the drive-thru. And lots of Eunice people seem to pick up their orders to go. But we like sitting inside where it's nice and cool. The TV may be set to a ball game or the news. Honestly, the neatest thing I like is the table tops. Local advertisements are lacquered on them. Because I grew up around the area and am familiar with most of the companies, it's funny to look at the bad designs of the ads. The restrooms are not the best, but what more could you expect from such a tiny oilfield & uranium enrichment plant town? I'll miss the simplicity of this place for sure. Review #88

I had a grilled chicken sandwich and a medium soft serve cone. The chicken sandwich was pretty basic, not great but also not bad, basically it hit the spot. However, the soft serve was really good. This place really reminds me of Dairy Queen. The staff, which consisted mostly of high school kids, were very nice. The prices were very reasonable and the place is clean. I would definitely return if I pass through Eunice again.

I had to ask to clarify that I was parking in the right spot and not risk getting my vehicle towed. It appears there is a greater emphasis on takeout than dining in. There are several spots for pick up orders, as well as a separate lane at the drive thru for it. The dining room seems to be an afterthought. Service at Blake's Lotaburger was very friendly and fast. I ordered a burger with a side of Frito Pie and a drink. They serve Pepsi products here. The food came out hot and fresh. The burger was wonderful. The Frito Pie was presented nicely. The dining area was clean. Overall I enjoyed my dinner at Blake's Lotaburger and I'll consider coming back the next time I'm in Hobbs.

The drive-thru line was super long at about 4PM and folks were rushing inside from the parking lot. So we bailed. Lol. It's located next to Texas Roadhouse in north Hobbs. Other plans for the plaza-to-be are in the works. Open daily until 10PM. Good for breakfast! Drive-thru is available. A bit slow for one breakfast sandwich for me on 1.22.2025, but they were friendly & it was served hot. They have a separate drive-thru line for online orders. Blake's, established in 1952, is famous for incorporating green chile into their offerings. There are several scattered throughout the Land of Enchantment as well as a few in Tucson, AZ, and El Paso, TX. I personally recommend the Lota breakfast sandwich with sausage ($6.71). It entails two eggs omelette-style with cheese and your choice of sausage or bacon topped with green chile, served on a soft, smooth buttery bun. Good filler for all-day-on-your-feet days! For lunch, I would opt for the green chile cheeseburger, no mustard and add mayo. It pairs nicely with onion rings. I'm not a fan of their natural fries, although, I still need to try their seasoned fries. Looking forward to trying a seasonal Biscochito Cookie shake some day too. RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 4.5 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 4 | Price: 3 PARKING Parking is free and ample. LOCATION/AMBIANCE This small restaurant is located in the same building as Kountry Korral. Just like the name says, it has outlaw memorabilia scattered throughout. The seating arrangements are mainly for small groups or couples. THE GRUB They have a pretty nice selection of items on their menu. I was anticipating a large protein-filled dinner later in the evening, so I opted for the New Mexican salad ($16.29). I highly recommend this salad with jalapeño Ranch dressing... it was fresh and loaded with so many wonderful colors and flavors: fresh greens, tomato, onion, shredded cheese, croutons, tortilla chips, pico de gallo, and guacomole. My kiddos begged me to bring them spaghetti for our Friday lunch date at school. You can order this kid's menu item with meat sauce, plain sauce, or with meatballs. My daughters both loved their meatballs. Each plate came out to $11.97 and did not come with anything else - no bread, side salad, or drink. Kind of steep if you ask me. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUB They definitely have a decent kid's menu, however, I didn't get any photos of it. Next time! SERVICE Very friendly over the phone. Quick to assist in person. They had my takeout ready for me when they said they would. MY FAVORITE PART... The New Mexican salad. I'd probably add steak next time. NOT SO FAVORITE PART... Higher-priced entrees. TIP Phone orders are ready for takeout within about 20 minutes.
