It was super busy and hot inside, and almost all the tables were taken. We quickly looked at the menu and knew we wanted tacos. Chips and salsa were brought out right away. The salsa was muy caliente. Our food didn't take too long and both our dishes came with rice and beans. My steak tacos were dry AF. The meat was bland and it had a lot of fatty pieces. It was topped off with some chopped cucumbers and cilantro but nope it still had no flavor. The hubs also was not impressed and he said that his tacos weren't it. (That means it's a no) The michelada was good though! It was yummy! The rice and beans were also pretty good! The beans were good however didn't care for the "extras" with them. Was expecting a corn nibblet for my side and was pleasantly surprised with a whole ear of corn. And suddenly, there it was, an oasis of an eatery standing alone in an ordinary building on the south side of the highway surrounded by nothingness. I had one more errand to run before I got back to work, but it was still all piping hot at that point. I only wish that next time I get some salsa if possible to put on top of my beans and potatoes.
