Kelsey is absolutely fantastic. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. The food is fantastic, the service is even better.

My favorite Calzone. Order a special and pick five toppings....I go for an extreme Hawaiian style each time.

I am giving you a 4. Truth, it is a hit or miss between a 3-5. I just have not figured out the best day and time to order.

**Note: this is now called Amore not Joe's**…read more I'll start by saying I get it. Small town in West Texas, but I'm also from these parts. So I'll cut you a little slack. Nice large dining room and bar. It was much bigger inside than I thought it would be. The wine menu was about what I expected it to be. I saw some people dressed up & some in shorts & hoodies. The service was good for the most part. We weren't offered refills and I was a little upset that we were offered oil to dip the bread in but were not told it was an up-charge. I knew as soon as I saw it but I was expecting the little plate with a drizzle in it that most Italian places offer. She called it hot oil, and it was spicy. I just think they need to specify that it's an add on. The portions were a good size. The tomato basil soup had cream in it which I wasn't expecting. Again, something small but could be better. The Italian wedding soup was oily and didn't have any meatballs. My main issue is that most of the food only tasted like salt. The pasta was over cooked and soggy. I got chicken piccata and I drizzled some of that hot oil on it and squeezed on the lemon from my tea to give it some flavor. My husband had a lasagna. He said it was "basic".

What a unexpected surprise to find such great Italian food in Andrews, TX. So it's called Amor now…read moreinstead of the old establishments name. Great service and a very nice interior. They have a full bar and a great menu to match. My buddy grabbed the meat balls with a side of spaghetti and he liked it a lot. Moist meatballs and the pasta was perfect. I opted for the pasta elgio olio. Veggies in spaghetti with top shelf olive oil. It was phenomenal. Can't wait to go back and try some more dishes when I'm in town.

Their orange, white and black food trailer is easily recognizable, "Serving SENM & West, TX since 2016." The first time I tried them was at my nephew's birthday party. While the owners were extremely nice and generous & even gave us a quick tour of their snazzy trailer, their pizzas are good. Not great. Yet another case of "I wanted to love it, but..." Lol. My friend who made the orders, was ecstatic about the "Da Vinci" which entails "spinach, artichokes, tomatoes, mozzarella cheese & garlic olive oil." It was alright. I prefered "the 505" which combines "sausage, Hatch green chiles, mozzarella cheese and red sauce." It was more savory and delicious than even the plain cheese, pepperoni, and the slice of "3 Little Pigs" (pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sausage, mozzarella cheese & red sauce) that I tried. These are very thin pizzas. The edges were much too burned for me most of the time. This is very typical of wood-fired pizzas in my opinion. Even the culinary hub of the Greater Los Angeles area where I lived for 10 years. Also, their dough itself was not very flavorful or enjoyable to eat, so I dug into my brother and sister-in-law's kitchen to create my own dipping sauce. Maybe they've created some since I tried them last summer, but I haven't heard about it. Because the owners were so generous and kept the pizzas coming for our hungry crowd - plus I wasn't the one paying the tab and didn't have a say in "more 505s please" - I can't go lower than 4 stars even if they aren't my favorite pizzas. RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 4.5 | Service: 5 | Ambiance: 5 | Price: 4 PARKING There is abundant free parking in a private lot or some street parking within a short walking distance. LOCATION/AMBIANCE Right away I noticed a simple, but large metal building adorned with desert landscaping and some "pizza wing" art towards the back. Inside, a large bar area is met with high ceilings and several other seating options including tables inside the nicely air-conditioned dining room or a few outdoor tables. THE GRUB My significant other cowboy ordered the "Urlager" because it was the closest thing to his Keystone. He wasn't a fan. At first sip, it was okay to me but definitely ended with a nutty sort of IPA aftertaste. I opted for the blueberry lavender vodka concoction... it was good! We shared the pizza of the week: jalapeño popper with bacon. It was so good! Altogether, our meal costed less than $28. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUBI don't recall a kid's menu. SERVICE Our waitress was great! So sweet, funny & attentive. The two bartenders were hustlers as well. MY FAVORITE PART... The pizza! NOT SO FAVORITE PART... How flippin' hot it was after refueling on 8/10/2023. Over 100 degrees F!

The only reason for not five stars is there was no list of beers anywhere other than behind the bar that I saw. I ordered some kind of wheat beer side scene. It was on the sweet side for sure.
