Cool old-school place with good food and friendly service. Sit down or drive through. We had steak fingers and a mango piineapple salad with chicken. Both good, especially the steak fingers. They sell alcohol but the waitress said she couldn't serve it to us because she was underage. It was funny and we didn't really want alcohol anyway. Ice cream machine was broken but we sure wanted to try one of the interesting flavors. Worth a stop in a little West Texas town. read more

Stopped by with low expectations as it is the only place to eat in MILES. Oh, how I was wrong! Absolutely phenomenal burger. Savory and juicy with just the right amount of bacon, cheese and chilis. The food was really good, we had a green chile cheese burger with onion rings and beef fajita. The burger and fajita were exceptional the onion looked great but lacked flavor but not terrible. Service was very slow and they weren't super busy that's why I am giving 4 stars verses 5. However, that seems to be the trend busier = quicker service. Returned to my home town for Alumni/Class Reunion. Stopped in to have a bite to eat. Ordered breakfast and it was very good, tho when I ask for some jelly for my toast that comes with my breakfast, advised they don't have jelly, that is just unacceptable if your serving breakfast. She told me "I have some syrup" you can put on it and my response to her was "Syrup belongs on pancakes not toast". Other wise it was delicious. My backseat crew began caterwauling because "they were thirsty." To their defense, I hadn't stopped anywhere since Santa Fe. So we pulled into Tatum and while I thought I would have to drag the whiny kids into one of two quick shops in the tiny southeastern New Mexico town, I soon remembered Tiny's Burger Barn. There are dining options, however, I only wanted to stop to rehydrate and get back on the road. There was a drive-thru. Fantastic! You can't miss it from Broadway Street/Highway 380. The parking lot had some potholes, but otherwise it was a well-kept area. Two small and a medium Dr. Pepper set me back $7.09. The young lady at the window was pleasant to chat with. We made it to my daughter's karate class in time afterwards. We'll be back someday to try some grub. SIDE NOTE Can't sleep at 2:45AM. Woke up having trouble breathing. My eyes burning. We were passing through while traveling and saw the reviews so we stopped in for lunch. The place was very clean and welcoming. We were initially very impressed. It took about 10 minutes for someone to take our order which should have been our first sign. After a total of 50 minutes since we were seated without food, we chose to pay for our drinks and leave. When we approached the staff at the register they seemed very confused. They asked if we had ordered food. Then, they proceeded to tell us they could get it quickly to go. We are on a road trip and came in because we didn't want to eat in the car. We paid for our drinks and left. Won't be stopping there again. Not a good experience. read more

Had an amazing time at Tiny's! It was the perfect spot to stop on our roadtrip. Great burger, soup, fajitas, and catfish! Wonderful and friendly service, felt welcomed like family! Found the last table inside in the A/C; there were several outside on the patio, but it was HOT! I had the Spicy BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger with Fries and my wife had the Burger Combo with Onion Rings. Both were great burgers, but I had the Sweet Jalapeno Bun and it was an excellent touch to the burger. Right then...I'm in a very small town in south new mexico visiting a friend. Our friend pulled out a couple of menus earlier and we looked 'em over. What caught my eye was the...wait for it...pineapple habanero grilled chicken salad and it was really good. I opted for the raspberry vinaigrette dressing Fresh mixed organic greens, red onions, cherry tomato, avocado, and large chunks of fresh cut mango and pineapple. It was great! I also ordered a pound of bone in buffalo wings, half pound was also available. These were big wings, I got mostly second joint pieces, i prefer tradition fried skin before sauce coating but hey these were good. The girls ordered a french dip, served with a large side of Au Jus. Row ordered a mushroom burger, they both finished eating before me and they were talking between bites. Also on the entrees menu were fried chicken or strips.
