Last weekend I took my husband for dinner for an early birthday night out since we were traveling for his birthday. I ordered the Delmonico Ribeye and he tried the blooming onion chicken. All the sides had to be had too. Mac and cheese, chili, onion petals, and loaded mash. The service was spot on and they really stepped it up. The first steak was a tough cut (which isn't always obvious before prep) and it was about 1/3 just fat and gristle. They willingly changed it out and cooked it to perfection. I order rare plus to med rare because I can never finish them in one sitting and don't like dry steak, and the execution was flawless. We enjoyed the experience and the restaurant was clean and easy to navigate. Our server Lily was so incredibly helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend as both times I've been to this location have been great!

Having visited various Outback venues, I have experienced constantly solid, very good price-quality ratio - in fact, with the investment, it is quite challenging to find much better restaurant steaks. This steakhouse chain venue is of no difference. I ordered medium sized center-cut sirloin, prepared to medium, without extra butter, and accompanied by broccols. It was absolutely fantastic, just as ordered, juicy, and flavorful. Firm texture, yet tender. The experience was complemented by a nice, australian themed decor and friendly service.

My very undercooked sirloin steak. They did correct their issue and comped me with no problem.

We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. It wasn't super busy but there quite a few tables filled when we're seated. After we sat down, it seemed to get busy. The restaurant was clean overall. Staff were observed cleaning in between seating tables. Service was slow. It took a while to get our drinks but the server came to tell us it was because they had to make a new batch of lemonade and apologized for the wait. After we received drinks, it took a while for her to come back to take our order. After we ordered, we were brought bread and butter while we waited for our food. The bread and butter were good. We got spinach dip as an appetizer. It was ok. The chips that come with it are unique because they look like tortilla chips but taste like wonton chips. They were really good. The dip itself needed seasoning. I got a 5oz sirloin steak, coconut shrimp, sweet potato, and a Cesar salad. The salad dressing had a kick, which was nice. Some of the lettuce in the salad seemed old or over saturated with dressing. I ordered my steak medium and it came out still mooing. It was purple in the middle. The waitress was apologetic and ordered a new one. The second one came out under so they refired it. It still wasn't cooked correctly but at this point, I was ready to go. They did comp me for it and apologize which I appreciated. The steak came with garlic butter and that was delicious. The coconut shrimp were humongous and delicious. The sweet potato was good too. My mom got the steak and shrimp pasta, which she enjoyed. This was our first time here. The only major issue was the cook on the steak and slow service. The staff were so sweet though and the food that was cooked right was actually good. I'd give them another try.

Philly cheese steak very little cheese be sure order extra if you get it

Service was good and restaurant was clean. The one thing I love about outback is the big booth not many left like that even chili is getting rid of them. Soda was great I had 3 diet cokes thanks to the good service. I saw a commercial $14.99 deal so I went to try it. I had coconut shrimp which were not bad. But not amazing either. Granted I'm comparing this to what I have had in Hawaii. Even the frozen coconut shrimp from Costco is better cooked in an air fryer. The fries were just okay maybe slightly undercooked. The plate was hot a clear sign that the problem is leaving food under a heat lamp and not serving it fresh. The coconut shrimp came with a side of ranch which was the final straw. How about some pineapple dipping sauce or something that goes with coconut shrimp. Ranch is not ideal here The salad I had with ranch no onions and it still had a weird taste I can't put my finger on it but I remember thinking the same thing last time I was here which was a few years ago. I used to love the diner salad here but at some point they changed something and do something weird. I also think the bread is weird. Maybe it's an Australian thing but if I'm eating bread I don't want whole wheat or what ever it is. I rather skip the bread because it's just not healthy why try to make it half healthy. I know this is an outback thing and it's not going to change if I don't like it.but the salad and bread are the two reasons I rarely go here

We received a giftcard to Outback Steakhouse for Christmas and decided to give the one on Southern Ave a try. For starters, the service provided from one of the managers Felicia was exceptional. We had a few hiccups during our visit, but she made sure to rectify them. ALL of the food we ordered tasted great. The coconut shrimp, fantastic. The toowoomba salmon, flavorful (broccoli was steamed to perfection). However, the drinks we ordered were very inconsistent. I started off with the Aussie rum punch & it taste like syrup. My Fiancé ordered the Maker's Mate initially & raved about it, so I decided to swap my drink for it. We ended up having to get the drink re-made twice, as the drink did not taste the same at all. Felicia was very kind and ended up making the cocktail for us, which was consistent to the first one my fiancé ordered. Our server Adrianna was kind, but at some point it appears our food was never put in the system. Felicia ended up taking care of our tab, which compensated for the inconvenience. Again, the chefs were working hard behind the scenes because our food was great. Overall, this might have been a bad night for the establishment. For the team to go out of their way to rectify the issue, we would definitely be open to giving them another shot in the future!

We came in our servers name is Anthony he was very patient and awesome! Got a shark drink and got to keep my shark! Food was overall amazing best steak I've ever had! Overall service was amazing got to go cups from my shark drink. If you want amazing service from one of the servers here definitely have Anthony as your server!

She communicated the menu well and answered our questions. She also informed us that there might be a delay in our food because of the orders ahead of us! We usually frequent Steak 44 when celebrating our birthdays (our entire family has September birthdays!), and it has become a tradition we look forward to year after year. From the moment you walk in, the experience is nothing short of exceptional. The service is impeccable, as you would expect from a high-end steakhouse, but it's the attention to detail that truly sets this place apart. Every entrée is cooked to perfection, and the flavors of the food and sides are on a whole different level. Simply put, every bite is a celebration! One of my favorite features is the beautiful glass-enclosed booths overlooking the kitchen, which add a unique and exciting touch to an already spectacular dining experience. My friend and I arrived dressed nicely, only to be stopped and told that her outfit violated the restaurant's dress code because it was considered "athletic wear." She was wearing a tasteful white two-piece pants set, nothing revealing or inappropriate. The gentleman who approached us, whom I assume was a manager, initially refused to let us dine. Rather than argue, she showed him why it wasn't and then we politely thanked him and walked away. As we left, my friend immediately expressed how uncomfortable and singled out the interaction made her feel. Approximately two minutes later, the same gentleman came outside and told us he would make an exception "this time" because we seemed like nice people. That statement only made the situation more insulting. If the dress code was truly the issue, what suddenly changed? And why did whether we seemed like "nice people" determine if we were welcome? Under normal circumstances, we would have taken our business elsewhere. However, my friend had driven an hour specifically to enjoy one of her favorite restaurants, and it was already 9:30 p.m. What should have been an enjoyable evening turned into an uncomfortable experience that affected the entire night between her and I and ultimately caused it to end early. I won't speculate about the reasoning behind our treatment, but I will say that what we experienced, especially compared with other guests we observed, left us questioning whether the "dress code" was being truly the reason we were disrespected. I've always heard great things about Steak 44, and I appreciate the restaurant's reputation for excellent food and service. Unfortunately, my very first visit left me feeling disappointed, disrespected, and unwelcome. Fine dining should come with high standards, but those standards should be applied consistently and respectfully to every guest. No one should be made to feel that they have to earn the right to be treated with dignity.

For our meal, we ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich with fries, Keg Burger with fries, the Lobster Roll with fries from the summer menu, and the Prime Rib Dinner. We also learned that there is a larger cut of prime rib available that isn't listed on the menu. It can be ordered with one side, or you can add an additional side for an extra charge. One thing that caught us off guard was that the lobster roll was served with a salad. With the recent produce recalls, we were a little hesitant. In the future, we'll likely request a different side instead. Unfortunately, the Lobster Roll was the biggest disappointment of the evening. While the flavor was good, the portion size was much smaller than it appears on the menu. It was more like a sampler-sized sandwich than a full entrée, and for that reason, we probably wouldn't order it again. We hope the restaurant considers increasing the portion size to better match guests' expectations. The Prime Rib Dinner is usually one of our favorites, but this visit it arrived only warm, while the rest of our food was served hot. It wasn't a major issue, but we would have preferred the prime rib to be served at the same temperature as the rest of the meal. On a positive note, our server was excellent. He took our entire order without writing anything down and was attentive throughout our visit. The only minor issue was that one of our Happy Hour items did not ring up correctly on the bill. It was quickly corrected without any problems, but it's always a good reminder to review your receipt before paying, as simple mistakes can happen anywhere. Overall, we continue to enjoy dining at this location. The service is consistently outstanding, and we appreciate the quality of the food. Our only suggestions would be to increase the size of the lobster roll and ensure that all entrées--especially the signature prime rib--are served hot. Despite those minor issues, we had a great family dinner and look forward to visiting again.

It's the kind of restaurant that makes getting dressed up feel exciting and worth it, and I absolutely loved that about the experience. It felt like such a perfect date night spot or place to celebrate something special. The servers were also extremely attentive the entire night. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling overbearing. The service honestly matched the upscale atmosphere perfectly and made the whole experience feel even more polished. And OMG... the food. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. Like genuinely one of those meals where every single bite makes you pause for a second because it tastes that incredible. I got the chicken orzo along with the lime icebox cake for dessert, and both were absolutely amazingggg. The chicken orzo was phenomenal. The lemon flavor throughout the orzo was bright, fresh, and flavorful without being overpowering, and the tomatoes were the PERFECT addition because they balanced everything so well and added a little sweetness and freshness to the dish. But the chicken... wow. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while still being super juicy and tender inside, which is honestly hard to do. Every component of the dish worked together perfectly. Magnificent is genuinely the best word for it. And the lime icebox cake was the perfect ending to the meal, refreshing, creamy, flavorful, and not too heavy after dinner. Honestly, I'm sitting here craving the food again just looking back at the pictures I took. This is definitely one of those restaurants that sticks in your mind long after you leave.

The restaurant itself is very cute and clearly designed for photos, which matches what I saw on their Instagram. Service overall was fantastic. The food, however, was just okay. I ordered the burrata and fig plate and was told they'd replace the bread with apple slices. I received five very small slices of apple, and when the plate was set down the waitress said she'd get more if needed. I later noticed I was charged $2 for an additional five slices, which together didn't even amount to half an apple. Ironically, the bread that comes with the dish would have been far more substantial. The burrata was fine, but nothing memorable. My friend ordered the chicken and brussels sprouts and didn't even finish it before having the plate taken away. The flourless almond cake was the star, a bit salty on its own, but with the ice cream and whipped cream it was a delightful combo which were the highlight. Overall, this is a great spot for cocktails, ambiance, and photos, but the food is fairly mediocre compared to the setting.

I had the baby back ribs 3-course deal for $40 and honestly couldn't believe the value. A full rack of ribs with a side and fruit cup, plus a salad AND dessert for $40 is insane. Such an exceptional deal for the amount of food you get. The hot honey chicken sandwich was also delicious, and everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. Service was solid even with how busy they were. Food was kind of slow but like I said, definitely busy. The atmosphere is probably the least memorable part. The tables are pretty close together and the dining area feels a little cookie-cutter rather than unique, although the colorful bar definitely adds some personality to the space. Overall, really good food, great value, and a place I would definitely come back to!

Everything took a long time, the drinks, the bread, the food...I ordered a filet mignon medium. They brought out a well done piece of meat that looked more like a sirloin than a filet mignon. I hate sending back food but I had to cause it was over cooked. The second attempt was only slightly better. Still overdone with only a slight hint on pink. Wasn't gonna send it back again... My daughter's burger bun was burned, my son's chicken was dry, and my mom's salmon was overcooked as well. The did comp the filet and a couple of deserts but I'd rather pay for good food than have bad food comped. The waitress was really nice, hence two stars and not one but we will not be back.
