I hate when an old classic that's supposed to give me the warm and fuzzy, let's me down, instead. Can you pass an inspection with layers of dust all over the shelves and flying cobwebs in the wind? I guess so. The boutique has so many cute overpriced items that I can find at half the cost across the street at Ross or Walmart. The food was overcooked served by staff who didn't seem to care, like really an empty butter bowl is a hint that something is missing. We were not asked if we needed anything else after getting our food, which i wanted ketchup and had to wait for someone to walk by so i can get it. No mid meal check in if we needed anything a it was very blah service. Not worth the visit or the allergies.

Food was mediocre. I ordered the southern fried chicken with two sides. The two sides I ordered were steak fries and grits. The chicken portion to batter ratio was significant, there was a lot of batter compare to the chicken meat. The chicken is super salty! The grits were bland. The fries were the best thing. Another friend ordered the battered cat fish, which was bland and had no flavor. My group ordered gravy, and we had to order it 3 times before it came. It also took forever for them to cut the checks, and when they finally separated the checks it was a mess.

First time trying Cracker Barrel, and I liked it more than expected! It was country themed, with a store with cute items and dining area. There are so many options, and price was reasonable. I got to try egg, bacon, and a choice of side and biscuit combo, biscuits came in a basket along with my friends', it was so cute! Food was yummy, nothing special but tasted as how you'd expect egg and bacon taste like! I'd definitely come back again!!

Steak and eggs, grits, steak, fries biscuits, and gravy. Oh my.

This is the first time I've been to Cracker Barrel's in about 20 some years it was around 4:30 PM. We're a party of four. I ordered from the breakfast menu,It's served all day. I had the steak and eggs. Sorry to say the steak I had was pretty chewy. I ordered it medium. My wife had ordered the same and her steak was very chewy too. Everybody else food was good. Our server was very nice. I'll have to come back to try something else off their menu.

We had visited Cracker Barrel in Atlanta, so to find a venue also in Arizona was a pleasant surprise. The rustic and country style decor is entertaining, and the service was again equally friendly and efficient as we remembered from the other places. This time, I ordered a New York Strip and shrimp combo, which was juicy and flavorful, the steak prepared to medium exactly as I wanted. The price for such a treat in this restaurant, with two sides and corn muffin, is hard to beat.

For years, this has been the place to get pancakes in my opinion as I love the way they prepare them. They added impossible sausage to the menu, which I love and have been ordering more from this chain. They have delivery via ubereats, so I even order to my office though this location was my first stop after de boarding my longer flight (from Florida). Nice to get breakfast and always enjoy Cracker Barrel, though the service was pretty slow at this location hence the 4 star. I can get lost in the decor and gift shop, so beware as I always end up shopping lol

Great service! Hasn't changed their decor at all since the recent rebrand fiasco. Service was friendly and fast. The pancakes are always excellent. Buttery and flavorful. Their shop at the front already had Christmas stuff out but it was still fun to look at even though it's the summer. It was a great spot for a quick breakfast. Would coming again. Clean bathrooms and plenty of parking.

This was my first time at Cracker Barrel and it did not disappoint! Nice and big and spacious and their gift shop had a lot of very cute holiday decorations! We got sat right away on a busy Sunday. Our server was great and was on top of everything. The game was back on the table and all was well. The food was a bit tepid but overall still good. The pancakes are delicious with a nice crunch to the outside of them while the inside is nice and fluffy! Definitely will be coming back!

My husband and I have been here far too many times. We LOVE Cracker Barrel. From amazing breakfast, to amazing dinner, Cracker Barrel has it all. We always get seated immediately and the service is amazing. Unlimited free refills on most beverages. I do not like tea, but the tea here is a must have. The old country store has the cutest gifts and home goods. It is always nice to walk around the store after eating. **Highly recommend the loaded tater tot casserole appetizer!** I highly recommend Cracker Barrel.

Kids drinks are included in the kids meals. BUT if you order rootbeer it comes in a bottle, won't tell you & will upcharge

We usually love Cracker Barrel but this last visit we kinda felt deceived. My daughter & I came in for a quick bite. My daughter ordered the kids Mac and cheese meal (which includes a kids drink (soda) in the price.) I ordered my meal as well. We asked if they had rootbeer to drink & Stacey H. said yes, so we both ordered rootbeers. When she came back with our rootbeers she handed up 2 Stewart's BOTTLED rootbeers (they were open already so we couldn't send them back & since they were glass bottles it was obvious we couldn't get refills like we would have gotten with another soda choice.) Plus when we got out check we were upcharged for both of our drinks (even though my daughter was supposed to get a free fountain drink.) I don't expect we should have been comped for my daughter's drink BUT I do think it was deceptive on Stacey H's part as a server to not let us know that the rootbeer was bottled, we wouldn't be able to get refills like all the other soda options, AND we were in fact going to get charged for a kids drink (which was supposed to be included in my daughter's meal.) Kinda felt shady like she did it just to make our bill a little bigger or because she didn't want to bother with getting us refills. Either way we felt a bit blindsided with poor communication from our server.

I want to start by saying our server was great, the atmosphere was nice, and our food came out quickly, which we appreciated. We had only taken a couple bites of our meals when my boys needed to use the bathroom. I took them, and intentionally left my purse at the table so it was clear we hadn't left. When we came back, our entire meal had been cleared from the table. It was incredibly frustrating, especially with hungry little kids. The manager came over and apologized and offered to remake the food, but at that point my kids were hungry, upset, and honestly I was too. I just wanted to leave. I asked if they could comp the meal because this was entirely due to their mistake. The manager then said we should still pay 50% of the bill, which was honestly shocking. Paying half for food we barely ate because it was taken by mistake felt completely unreasonable. After I pushed back, they did end up comping the meal. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What made this experience especially disappointing was the manager's lack of empathy and apology--especially as a mom trying to manage dinner with little kids. It turned what started as a pleasant dinner into a very stressful and upsetting experience.

But I can judge simply food or filet a trout or chicken and add a homemade beurre blanc sauce. I like simple red wine but relish a Camus anniversary bottle. We eat at hole in the walls and expensive places. But often we look at each other and choose between Dennys or VI, and are happy! Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? I told her I'd eat it. Truly don't like complaining let alone confrontation with a Russian native with a sharp attitude because of a rough life. My nephew is from there so I GET the trauma. and I though I know I can usually switch my palate. But not for this plate of food. I felt sick looking at it. "Just eat the 'steak' I picked the stuffing apart - could not eat more than a thimble. Gummy gluten salty yuck was inedible. The FINGERPRINTS! 2 Fingertips past knuckles imprinted. I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss. Sad dinner and maybe she had a tough week too. But. But times 3 over.

Just 2 minutes from the ALB airport, this spot hits exactly how you need it to hit when you're either coming off a flight or heading into one: easy, classic, no-frills comfort. I went with the corned beef hash + pancakes breakfast, and it delivered that old-school diner energy. The hash was hearty and filling, eggs cooked just right, and the pancakes? Soft, golden, and exactly what you expect--nothing fancy, just solid. But let's be clear... the real reason you come here is the pie. Village Inn doesn't play about their pies, and the banana cream pie is the headline act. Light, creamy, not overly sweet, topped with whipped cream and just enough texture to make every bite feel intentional. For under $20 a pie, it feels like one of those rare "still worth it" moments in today's food scene. Yes--it's a chain.
