We stopped in here because my husband's boss has mentioned he liked it here, and he's someone I trust for recommending restaurants. The hostess was very nice, and warned us about the wait.Saturday night, 25-30 minute wait which isn't bad, and we were taken to a clean booth and started our evening. The restaurant seems well kept, which is rare here in Spring Hill. The menu has changed a bit since the last time I was at an outback, but the pricing was fair. Once the food started coming, we were super impressed by how good it was but also how the hot food was super hot, which implies they don't let it sit under the heat lamp for long. I ordered the pork porterhouse which was awesome, and my husband had the sirloin, also awesome and very tender. Such a lovely evening out, and our server, Devin, was very prompt! Well done outback, we'll be back! read more

I absolutely love outback! Never had a bad meal. Personnel are always friendly and super accommodating!

We dont go out much and it had been a while since we were at an Outback. Our server Kayla was sweet, fast, and efficient. The manager came over to say hello and check in on our needs. We had NY Strip for our meal; Wow AMAZING. This team is on top of it. read more

Giving this place even one star is a stretch. We waited more than 10 minutes to even be acknowledged that we were sitting and waiting for service. The manager finally came over and apologized and offered us a free appetizer. We ordered our food and nothing came out for over 20 minutes. People who sat down after us were getting their meal before we even got an appetizer that never came. We had enough and got up and left. We will never go back there again. The manger didn't seem too concerned about our business anyway. read more

We went for dinner around 5 o'clock the place was not busy. It took a long time to order and receive drinks. We ordered a blooming onion as an appetizer when we ordered are drinks. When we received are drinks the waitress asked if we wanted an appetizer, we reminded her we ordered one. When she brought the blooming onion it was so greasy the oil was puddled in the center. We had to order more bread because the food took so long. I ordered the seasoned fries as did another in are party. We both go plain fries. The vegetable of the day was so over cooked and mushy. We did not send them back because we already waited so long. For the price they need to hire a better chef.. This is the seconded time I had eaten hear. The first time my steak was so salty I couldn't eat it. I don't think I'll be back. read more

Service poor, took forever. Wife's steak cooked good, mine overcooked. Still waiting to pay. Been waiting 15 minutes since the check came. Maybe because they just opened up? Not sure but won't be back to this outback. read more

Once again very disappointing at this particular Outback. Place was not very busy and still took forever to get a drink, not to mention the smell of the place. The bathroom smelled of urine, the whole place smelled of sour beer. Obviously not cleaning properly. The salad came out with bad lettuce, basically couldn't need it. The New York strip came out extremely well done and tasted horrible, she replaced it with a new one that was cooked properly but was tougher than leather. Also the manager lied directly to our face, because she said she was going to personally go back and cook the steak, but when she came back with the steak she said that she told him to put the regular seasoning on it. I called her out on it and she didn't have much to say. My daughter got the salmon and it tasted like rotten fish. We ordered two desserts that were supposed to be warm with ice cream, and they came out cold. We don't visit this one very often because of these reasons, and when we do go back it's with hopes of it finally getting itself together. But unfortunately I don't see that ever changing with this particular Outback. Extremely disappointing. I would've had a better meal at the waffle house. read more

I love outback. There's not one near me, so we drove 35 minutes to this one. LOVELY waitress (Alice). One cocktail and two apps in, we were eating our salads, waiting for the steaks when BAM! The power goes out. Next thing you know, we're being told that we have to leave (due to the now lack of ventilation). No worries, mishaps occur all the time, right? But seriously? Not ONE THING comped for our inconvenience??? I didn't expect everything to be comped, but they didn't even come one app or one cocktail! And due to no power, we had to come up with the cash to cover it -- no credit card machine! Alice was sweet and charming and a real asset. The manager was terrible. If he wants customers to come back, make them want to come back :-( As we were heading out the door, the power came back on. They asked if we wanted to stay. Yeah, no. If they had made any gesture at all, we would have stayed and they would have had another $50-60 from us for the steaks. As it was, we were outta there. Oh! The manager did say he was "comping our salads". The salads? The salads we didn't order, but came with the steaks we didn't get?? Thanks, but no thanks. We didn't even finish them. Again, Alice? You're way too good to work for a manager who doesn't understand customer service. You should be the manager there! :-) read more

Brought my grandmother here for lunch for her birthday. The restaurant wasn't busy, but it took forever to get a server & even longer for drinks. My grandmother is diabetic so we needed to get her some bread asap. You would've thought they had to go pick wheat from the fields to make & bake it. It took forever & she was starting to get sick. When the food finally came out it was awful. I had to send mine back & ask for a togo box because my grandmother was already done eating. We spent 2 long horrible hours there only for my grandmother to get sick that night. Never again! I recommend the Outback in Trinity. They aren't perfect either, but at least you'll get quicker service, a cleaner restaurant, & better food read more

Their food is simply amazing. They are very accommodating for anybody. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone if you're a big fan of steak or seafood. What here Monday to get food choose to do the carry out Jacquelyn was very helpful. Could not find the bloom petals online went into the restaurant I asked if they could add it they did the cook gave us extra because he felt bad for making me wait. This restaurant is excellent customer service they are very helpful and very polite read more

Ordered take out. No one was there for take out. The so called manager cashed me out said it would be 5 more minutes. I asked for a drink told her I would pay she said no I will get it. After she told me it was to slow to have anyone in the take out section. She never came to check on me, never brought me my drink it took 45 minutes for my food with the kitchen manager brought out. Said he was sorry. So called manager was horrible. Guess what I will be going to Longhorn. After being closed last year for roaches. They should be on with the customers. Bad service, bad manager read more

Never feed your child Joey bites without tasting them first yourself. My son said "they taste funny/irony" so I tasted one myself. The moment this disgusting hunk of Dingo meat touched my tongue I thought "rancid". No exaggeration, it was flat out horrific in flavor. Rotten meat has a certain taste, and this was rotten. Then a female, whom I assumed was a member of the management, came over and tried telling me that it was the same cut of meat as the sirloin that I had. I was completely flabbergasted at this comment, I told her that was a ridiculous thing to say. My sirloin was actually quite good, cooked to perfection. Just looking at the two meats anyone with an IQ higher than 80 could easily see that these meats were NOT from the same cut. She wanted to argue with me by saying again how the Joey bites are the same steaks, it was at this point I told her that I was now getting angry. It has been a very long time since I have had to complain at a restaurant like this, and to then have a manager want to argue instead of just apologize WTF? The all you can eat shrimp seemed like something you would find at a convenience store frozen section. Three different kinds of shrimp; Buffalo, fried, and scampi. The scampi was the biggest joke, obviously microwaved. Small shrimp in a gelatinous substance with a strange lack of garlic, I actually found complete mud veins in a couple pieces. The Buffalo was the same shrimp as the fried, just slathered in a wing sauce. The breading was not good at all, and they all looked so uniform that I am willing to bet they are mass produced and frozen in China. Service was good. Our waitress was very attentive, and in regards to the rancid roo she was very nice and apologetic. We still tipped at 20% because she was just great. I just wish she had left her manager back in whatever isolated little hole of an office she came out from. Lastly, the restaurant was clean and comfortable. read more

We went to dinner tonight for my husbands birthday, needles to say we showed up at 5:30 were promptly sat and had drinks ordered. Drinks were brought apps were ordered and we were on our way and then after the apps showed up about 30 mins after ordering them we then waiting y till after 7pm to ask where our dinner was and how much longer it would be was then told they were testing it up as we speak ok cool bc by now I'm starving as is the rest of the table.....food shows up and is over cooked and cold from sitting in the window too long before being servedi sent mine back bc I wanted a rare steak and got midwell I waited another 15 mins for new steak and fresh hot Mac and cheese as well as broccoli bc all mine was cold after 15 min and everyone else is finished I politely tell the server I no longer want my meal just tell them not to worry, the manager comes out apologizing I tell her it's been almost 2 hours I understand y'all are short staffed however it was a rare steak she takes the steak off the bill but doesn't bother to at the very least but my drinks that I had as a sorry we screwed up when I questioned the server she told me the manager will not come back out that bc everyone else ate it's not her problem! We will never go back in to that outback and I will be writing corporate in the morning and thanking them for ruining my husbands birthday and not training their employees to have any customer service skills. I have been In the restaurant business for 20 years and would have never dismissed someone bc they wanted to talk about their bill especially knowing that we as a restaurant could not hold up our end of the bargain! I will pass on our experience to everyone I know in hopes we can save our friends and family from having this same experience read more

Let's just say extremely unimpressed, first of all. Secondly, will not be back. My bf's cup was dirty (as well as mine.) He was smart and asked for a new drink in a to go cup. I just sat there unhappy the whole time with something floating in my drink. I didn't see the waiter to ask for a new drink until my meal was finished and at that point I was over it and ready to leave. Let me say, some of the folks they hire.. wow is all I can really say. I'm kind of embarrassed for them and feel bad saying those things but come on, some people just aren't clean enough to be servers! Not only is cleanliness lacking but service! This was one of the worst experiences I can remember. Yes, we needed time to review the menu but how long did we really need.. not 20 minutes.. jeesh! To top it all off, there was a hair in my salad.. which it happens but add it all up and this place is dirty and lacking. read more

If I could give zero I would. One is way too generous. The stench of dirty mops hits you in the face as soon as you walk in the door. The floors were sticky and the bathroom floors were slippery. The Sunday cook has no idea how to cook a steak. $15 for 2/3 of a really small pitcher of margaritas (the server said it serves 3, not really a deal). When I complained they said they would put more mix in if I wanted them too. I will say that they comp'ed the meals but I will never be back. read more

I am a big fan of good service. Something that I reflect on my tips. Even if the food is not the greatest, service can make a big difference on how I rate a food establishment. There were several faults today, from an undercooked steak without the requested toppings to a robotic waiter that frankly had to be new, or at least I hope he is just inexperienced. At the end, he didn't even leave a pen to sign the check. Bobby, good luck, I hope you can learn from this one. I am going to write this one off. read more

My brother in law and I decided to hit the Outback for lunch. What I like about this Outback restaurant is that it's very clean and recently done over. Our waitress Heather was very pleasant. These were the pros. The con....I ordered the full order Chicken Caesar Salad. The first thing that I thought of is that I could probably eat 2 of these. It barely covered the very shallow plate. It was about half the size of the Chicken Caesar Salad at the Texas Roadhouse for the same price ($10.99). The romaine lettuce was not crisp at all, and had to ask for more dressing. So, when I say "the con", I felt like I was conned. It may be awhile before I return, but when I do, it won't be for the Chicken Caesar Salad. read more

I dined there last night and I showed the waiter exactly what I wanted by pointing at it on the menu. I ordered the 6 oz. sirloin steak with ribs for $14.99. He asked me if I wanted the filet or the sirloin, I didn't know what he was talking about, so I said, what's the difference? He showed me the picture of them on the menu and he said one is flater and the other was fatter. I again told him, I want this (pointing to the afore mentioned 6oz sirloin with ribs for $14.99. He asked me again if I wanted the filet. I thought since I was being very clear by pointing to the exact menu item that he would get my order correct and that by asking me my choice of meat cuts that I had the option of either the filet or the sirloin for the same price of $14.99. Not the case!! When I received my bill I was charged $30.98 for my $14.99 meal!!! When I tried to dispute it he told me, "You ordered the filet." Well, after I showed him on the menu again, for the 4th time what I had ordered, he said, "well, I asked you if you wanted the filet, I didn't look at what you showed me on the menu." So, he asked me if I wanted to speak to the manager and I said I did. I thought she would straighten it out, but, no! She said, You ordered the filet. Oh, my back and forth, showing her what I ordered on the menu and all, she didn't straighten it out, all she did was knock off $6.00 from the bill and told me, "well, the filet was good wasn't it?" And I told her, "No, I just didn't want to complain about it." The fact is that statement was indeed true since I asked for my steak to be cooked with NO seasonings on it and when I received it it was very spicy and I don't like spicy food. I left there very upset. My $14.99 meal ended up costing me $26.98. I am not very pleased with how I was treated there. If you go there, make sure you know what they are charging you when they ask you for your choices! read more

Have you ever been to a restaurant that serves steaks and the meat is like chewing gum? Well, this is the place.. Chicken is good, Shrimp are farm raised but o.k. The only thing I've had here that I really like are the salads.. But really, how hard is it to make a salad.. ? The only reason I gave this place two stars was because the wait staff is rather good.. Sooo, if you want steak, Texas roadhouse is your best bet in Spring Hill.. I do think that Outback needs to find a another meat distributor.. read more

I'm not sure why this particular establishment had its current yelp rating, but I found it to be an outstanding dining experience. The service was five star and the food was extremely tasty. My medium rare streak was closer to rare, and that's the only reason I didn't give five stars over all's however, the restaurant was extremely busy, so I know it's harder to maintain grill temps with that kind of turnover. We will definitely come back. read more

Must say I love outback, but not this time. Order came out wrong, the manager was kind and trying to fix it yet 30 min. Later family is done and steak hasn't come out. Excellent service from bar maid and everyone here very nice and funny. Great steak potato and salad as always.

Big tall beers are awesome. Steak is pretty good too.

Went to this Outback Steakhouse last weekend. I haven't been to outback in probably over 10 years. I have to say it wasn't that bad. It was a Friday night so you know it would be packed, and believe me it was. The service was still excellent. The blooming onion was delicious and the bread was great. I of course got a sirloin steak, ordered it rare and got in medium rare, which I was fine with. 4/5 Stars. read more

My family and I go out to this restaurant very often as its right down the road. Typically, we have good service and every now and then a steak cooked wrong. Nothing too unusual. However, tonight was different. My father just got back from traveling for the last week for work and just wanted a good, steak dinner. Upon getting to the restaurant, we were seated right away with our drinks, bread, and appetizer out promptly. My dad ordered a medium rare prime rib dinner of which came out looking like red jelly and still alive it seemed. He sent it back, and the prime rib then came back lightly browned on top but still moo-ing when he cut into it. Let me just mention, I've seen my dad eat some pretty rare steaks but trust me when I say these were beyond rare and definitely NOT medium rare. Nevertheless, he sent the second prime rib back and said nevermind, he would just like a simple 9 oz filet. The filet comes out 15 minutes after my family had finished their meals, and it was PURPLE on the inside. When the manager finally came over, he repeatedly apologized for "not being able to satisfy" my fathers wants. Making it sound as if the steaks were fine. Completely unprofessional and never even offered to comp one of the beverages or anything of the matter. To make matters worse, my bowl of soup came out 10 minutes after my mom and brother received their meals, and the server kept saying they were waiting for the soup to heat up. It came out COLD and was obviously because they just opened up a new frozen bag of potato soup. All in all, very poor service. My dad never even ate a thing and left still hungry. Update: for some reason my family continues to give this place another chance and it disappoints time and time again. Y'all need to get it together or I can't see this staying open much longer. read more

Ok, so we decided to give this crappy place one more chance and tried their take out service. Well, guess what, it's just as bad as sit down service. Called in an order, simple items like burger, cheese fries, shrimps on the barbie, onion petals. The dizzy girl on other end said it would be 40 minutes so we waited a while before going to pick up order. We arrived before 40 minutes, the food was ready, and we took it home. Not bad. Until we got home. Opened the packs and every item was ice cold! They must've had order ready in 15 minutes and let it sit there all that time. We had to reheat all the items, except the salad, and it totally ruined our whole dinner experience for that evening. We were going to bring it back and get refund but just decided it's better to just not visit this place, or any Outback, ever again. On previous sit down visits, no matter which way you order your steak cooked, it comes out wrong every time. Even after the "expert" explains the differences from rare to well done, always had to send steaks back because they were too rare or over cooked. Skip these poor excuses for steak houses, and save yourself some aggravation. Enough said. read more

Everything was just adequate, nothing special. I get a much better meal at Codys steak house.

We each had the $14.99 6 oz sirlloin special. House salad was basic, nothing special. Cesar Salad was above average. Baked potato soup was below average. French Onion soup was average. Sirloins both were ordered Medium Rare and came out Rare. Both were chewy and tough. Cut was too thick to make a true medium rare outcome. Loaded baked potato was average. Garlic Mashed Potatoes were bland and cold. Carrot Cake was very good. Cheese cake was dry and still frozen in the center. Props to Brittany who did provide excellent service and we tipped her good. This is my second bad experience with the food at this location, and one other bad experience in Wesley Chapel. I doubt that I will ever return to any Outback anywhere. Total bill: $40.03 read more
