The first thing I want to mention is the last thing that I experienced. ALWAYS GET YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE PAYING. Before I get to all the good and there was a lot of good, let me explain that I asked for a written receipt before I paid to take a look at it, and I was told I'd have to wait until after I paid. After I paid, I noticed they charge for a game that was on the table. It was $2.99. I remember it flashing at the bottom as I was choosing golf just to see what it was like, but I have a feeling that the touch or your curiosity locks you in. So if you have kids that reach for the game and press the button to open the games, you may never know you paid for that game set because they don't give you a written receipt. So, that being said, be wary of the fact that you don't get to read any of the charges before you pay and that's not the way it should be done. So let's go back. Went there for their 14.99 deal, which is seven days a week. We ordered, my wife and I, the hamburger with a Caesar salad, french fries and cheese cheesecake comes at the end. And then we also ordered the coconut shrimp which came with rice. And a blue cheese and sugar walnuts salad , for this fancy salad there was a 3.99 charge. that also came with cheesecake. The hamburger was just fantastic and cooked to perfection. I'm kind of a hamburger snob so I was thrilled. The coconut shrimp was fantastic. And came with a glazed marmalade that you dip in, but it really didn't need it. You could eat it either way, and it came with bread. I asked for the salad to be served with the entrée, but by the time the entrée got there and we were enjoying it so much it wasn't until about five or 10 minutes after that the salad showed up and we had totally forgotten about the salads and the salads were delicious. And they have a special deal and I really should've taken a picture of it but while you're there ordering a full entrée as we did, you could also order food to go for $10. Or $10 plus an extra three if it's really special so if you go for the chicken or shrimp, I think it's a straight $10 and we went for the salmon so it was three dollars extra and it came with fettuccine Alfredo and there were other choices that I don't remember, I apologize. And those choices came with four sauces that you could choose. So salads were great. Coconut shrimp, fantastic. My wife ordered rice with the coconut shrimp which had some garlic in it which she just loved and I ordered the hamburger with the french fries, I think the french fries could've been cooked a little more but they were hot so I don't complain unless food is cold. Or I have an additional charge that I don't agree with and I was never given a receipt and then after I paid and asked to talk to my server, I waited for five minutes and then I just left because it was just a moot point. As an aside, I had $20 gift card so my meal was $58 and I didn't get a refund or a gift card of two dollars so they just kept that two dollars and they got an extra 2.99 for a game that sits on the table and Beckins you especially if you're a child or an adult child like myself. Anyway, I hope this helps. Jenifer was fantastic except for not being able to reach her to fight the 299 charge not that I was going to have it removed. I just wanted to let her know how unfair it is that you don't know that you're agreeing to it. Came here to celebrate a birthday and unfortunately left pretty disappointed. The food took way longer than expected to come out, and when it finally did, it wasn't cooked the way we ordered it. Not a great combo. To make matters worse, our waiter was rarely around, so by the time we even had a chance to flag someone down, the mood had already shifted. Nobody wants to spend half a birthday dinner trying to get someone's attention. We didn't want to make a fuss and ruin the vibe, so we just pushed through, but that's not really how a birthday dinner should go. I don't think the staff was trying to be careless, and I get that restaurants get busy. But between the wait, the wrong cook on the food, and the lack of table presence, it just fell flat for what was supposed to be a special night. One of the better Outback locations I've been to! I will say it was a slower Tuesday afternoon, so I can't speak for how things are on a busy weekend, but our experience was great. When chocolate cake cravings start popping up, Google suggested OutBack SteakHouse. I used to frequent the Clairemont location and have the app available on my phone, so I placed a to go order to sample the offerings of Outback Steakhouse. Easy to place, ready in 20 or so minutes, by 8:06 pm according to the app. Easy to find with lots of parking I pulled into the parking lot and parked at the Takeaway parking, with a dedicated counter specifically for mobile orders. Clairemont location had one similar and a server always came out to greet whomever pulled up to pickup an order. Well, the Takeaway parking is not in an ideal location for a server working the Takeaway to see if anyone pulled in. The sign instructs you to wait in the vehicle and someone will come out. And I arrived at 7:55 pm. No one came out. So I waited and waited. 8:06 pm arrived and still no one came out. So, I go in and there is no one at the Takeaway counter. I proceed to the main restaurant, and had to ask two workers about my predicament. One went into the kitchen to check on my order. Couple minutes later, out comes my order!!! The restaurant was not busy and I can understand if they were slammed, but, their Takeaway needs to improve their efficiency if they want the customer to have a good experience. The chocolate cake was okay. A little on the dry side. However, you can order a cocktail to go and I ordered the Guava-Rita. It was sweet and I think I was supposed to put it on ice. We had a great experience at this location and think it deserves a higher rating. Our food was well-prepared, and the staff were friendly and efficient. My husband and I arrived around 8:30 pm on Friday. It was busy, but not packed. There were two parties ahead of us. It only took about 5 minutes to be seated. Lacey was wonderful. She made sure we had water and bread while perusing the menu, took our order, and made sure everything was correct. We weren't too hungry, so we split a ribeye with fries and wedge salad. I think this restaurant is fairly new? Everything was clean and love that they have outdoor bar are and the vibe was so nice. Probably one of the best outback steak houses I've been to. My last review was back in 2020. I've been back since but just haven't done an updated review. Tonight (Sun 2/16), my hubby and I went out for dinner for a belated Valentine's. I actually noticed that it's much brighter in the restaurant which was great coz usually it's too dark. We were lucky to have a great waiter which I can't remember his name. They had a 3-Course Meal which I knew as I saw it on the social media. The waiter asked the hostess for the menu as it was not offered to us when we sat down. I chose the Loaded Baked Potato Soup as the appetizer, Coconut Shrimp with mashed potatoes and a side of au jus (to act like a gravy) for the entree and cheesecake with chocolate sauce on the side for the dessert. For entrees, my mom had the Delmonico steak, I had the filet mignon with lobster, my daughter had the seared Ahi with a house salad and French onion soup, and her boyfriend had a steak sandwich with fries (I gave him half of my huge wedge salad too!). Onto entering we required first thing about Aussie 3 Course meal, which we saw online (and it was advertised starting at $14.99), but not in the store- just ask the server and he will explain it. Our server was Jake D. Outstanding, he was the best, really good and prompt with all our requests. It all started with bread and real butter, then our orders were first my boss for $14.99 got the bloomin cheeseburger(minus bloomin petals and sweet potato), she liked it, also house salad with honey mustard dressing on a side (salad was mainly lettuce with some cheese, raw onions, tomatoes and cucumbers on top). My order was for $22.49 a 6 oz sirloin steak (I asked it to be done medium to well done, it came tasty as far as spices, salt and pepper, but it was really chewy, not melting in your mouth. I also got the same salad with the same dressing and the same observation. The fully loaded potato was the real deal for me and 2 New York style small cheesecakes for both of us. read more

It was a tropical drink pinkish in colour and had a slice of orange in it. My hubby had a drink called aussie Blue The drinks were fantastic and they were fantastic. There were a lot of seats in the restaurant and it was a family style restaurant. There were families with their children there as well. There were also TVs showing sports right at the bar. Our server last night was Mayte! She was very delightful. She was polite and very upbeat. Really needed that attitude since I just had a super long work day. She made our night. We ordered sweet Sriracha chicken bites, a steak with just salt and pepper made medium rare, with a side salad and baked potato and a salmon with baked sweet potato and broccoli. The outback bread was great as usual. And it came with a dollop of butter in a separate container. The sweet sriracha chicken bites were fantastic. It arrived piping hot, and I was very surprised that it was seasoned and very flavourful and very crispy. I truly enjoyed that. What was so amazing was that the steak came as ordered. It was really medium rare as ordered. And lightly salted with pepper just the way my husband likes it. My salmon was nicely seasoned and was flaky without being overcooked. My broccoli was a little overcooked but I don't mind it that way. We ordered another two drinks- both guava margaritas and it was again fantastic! We were seated right away in a nice booth and greeted promptly by our waitress Mayte. She was great. We ordered a couple of drinks. The castaway cocktail and the aussie blue. Both are delicious. Wow! What a nice dinner, so the wife and I decided to stop by outback for dinner. It's been a bit since we've been to an outback. So we came by the San Marcos out back. The parking can probably use some help due to construction. I had the grilled chicken on the barbie with baked potato, mac and cheese and a nice large salad. Absolutely delicious. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Mac and cheese wow very cheesy and baked potato. My wife had the shrimp on the barbie which was extremely delicious due to the fact all her shrimp and baked potato were gone and she said it was very delicious. Let's get to our service. The main thing is that we paid a lot of money for little 5 ounce steaks that were tough. They should know how to make a piece of meat somewhat tender. We ordered the steak and coconut shrimp dinner. The coconut shrimp tasted good, but that so-called well done steak was tough to cut and to chew, both. It knocked off my temporary crown on my tooth in back, such that I had to go to the dentist to have them install it. I was trying to avoid chewing on that side, but somehow it knocked it off. I will make my steaks at home! Sizzler knows how to make tender well done steaks, so there's no reason this should have happened. The service by the waitress was excellent .
