We actually hit up this Outback 2X during our stay in Marco this summer. The family thought that the overall experience and value was pretty good. One of my kids kept asking to dine there cuz he thought that their food was, in his own words "awesome". I would personally give them a 3.5. Service was very good. Our Singles Group came to the Outback and we all enjoyed our dinners. We're a mix of churches. Who meet up and not all at the same time, every time. But the Staff was on there game we came at a good time due to the kitchen wasn't overwhelmed and our meals were served on time. Everything is clean and food well portioned. Seating was fast and hosts were nice. We had our grand child with us, so they were attentive to our needs and gave us some things to occupy her. Our drinks/apps came out quickly. Which was very nice. I do like that you can order apps at the table on the kiosk. That was a handy tool. It also allowed for you to alert your server for drink refills. A HUGE plus. My spouse hates waiting on refills. So we decided to try this outback after staying away for quite some time time. When we first moved here we visit the restaurant because it was close, the food was good and bartenders were friendly. Always had a great time. The best thing I can say about our vicissitudes that the bartender was great. His drinks were fair and his service was excellent. We both ordered steaks, different cuts, cooked medium rare. Unfortunately they came out well done. Not even close. This was such a disappointment since we were hoping things would have improved but that wasn't the case. The restaurant was not busy at all which was surprising (I wonder why) because Texas Roadhouse was packed. I spoke with the manager and he did offer to prepare another meal but we declined so took a fair amount of money off the bill. The service was great! Lady made sure all of our drain for fall but the meat it has so much gristle in it, and it was tough was not cooked to order, but after eating the blue and onion, a baked potato I just ended up taking it home and feeding it to my dogs. I don't believe I would go back there. It is pretty expensive for what you get and the dining experience. They actually crowd you in like cows you cannot talk to your dinner partner or anything. My wife & I eat dinner here probably three times a month. We sit at the bar. We see a lot of the same folks there often and everyone is friendly. The service always excellent. They make a great martini and manhattan. We have only had one bad experience (when we opted for a table on a busy night and the server forgot to put our order in). She made it right, quickly, apologized, and all was good. The prices are right, the atmosphere is comfortable, the portions are great. Had the worst Outback experience ever. Mirabelle greeted our table and did a subtle upsell, which I can respect, but it crashed and burned from there. After having to correct my order before she placed it, our salads came out quickly. After only having 2 bites of salad (of which my dad's was incorrect), our steaks were dropped. Mirabelle did not come and check on our table until I was almost finished with my steak which I waited until I finished my salad to start. After this, we waited another 20 minutes for her to come by and ask if we wanted dessert. We did not, but I wanted to place a to-go order for a steakhouse salad on a separate check. After 20 minutes of waiting for this salad, I had to stop her and ask her where it was. She also took a gift card my dad had laid on the table without showing us the bill. After another 10 minutes, it had not come out, and she informed me she "spoke to [her] manager". I had not seen a manager the entire visit. After 45 total minutes of waiting for a SALAD, she finally went into the kitchen and brought it out. She also gave us the check informing us we still owed more as the gift card did not cover it. We asked her where the bill for the salad was and she combined the checks which I specifically asked the salad to be separate. She said it would only take her a couple minutes to split the item, but after waiting that long, and watching another table have to get up and go to the POS for her to close their check, we said forget about it and just paid at the table. On top of it, there was no discount for the salad for taking so long, just an "I profusely apologize and would be mad too". After getting home and opening the salad, I found out that they included the wrong dressing, undercooked the steak (which was cold when I received it), and overall did not taste good. I understand it was a busier night for summer, but that is poor service on her end, poor table management on the host/hostess end, a shame on the manager, chef, and expo for not managing ticket times, and a double shame on anybody on the management team for actually managing wait times, staff, or giving guidance. read more

I spent $37 before tip on a filet and shrimp at Outback near 41 and Collier and sat at the bar at 5:30 PM on a Wednesday, the last day of 2025. First the good (1) the broccoli was fantastic, and (2) the Caesar salad was very good and they even added some hard boiled egg for me. The "not good" was (1) the steak (ordered med rare) and (2) the size of the shrimp. One would expect that a 6 oz filet would be easy to cut and chew. Neither was true. The knife was sharp and I had to saw off the first piece from the steak, which was not a good sign. It was then very difficult to chew. I tried the other side of the steak with same result. I gave up. The meat did not look like a filet at all. It was the same texture throughout without any density. I've seen the videos about steak places serving either treated meat and or meat tenderized or pulverized. Those came to mind. There were 4 pieces of the shrimp, not very thick and about 1 1/2 inches long each with the tails on. That was an extra $7.99. The shrimp sauce that was served with those was very tasty. So I ate everything but the steak and sat there expecting the server, Liz, who was a very nice person, to ask how it was and/or the manager who was walking around quite frequently. She instead asked if I wanted a box to take it home and I told her "no" that not only could I not chew the filet I could not cut it. She ignored my very clear comments and we processed the payment. I still gave her $8.00 tip. It's not her fault the quality of the meat that was served. On the way out the manager asked how the dinner was. I repeated my facts about the steak and he did not care. He still offered no concession. My wife and I had been frequent visitors before. When a place like this achieves "actual indifference", which is a big step up from "perceived indifference" it is a clear sign to stay away. read more

We live close to this location and have been eating there at least once a week. For the last 4 times we have eaten there, the food has gone down hill. My wife ordered the 6 Oz sirloin well done and it came med rare to rare. When asked to have it cooked more, the waitress said ok. Then it took some time to be cooked more. By the time it came out, my wife was done with her side. Then, when my steak came out and I had ordered it medium. It was rare medium rare. More on the rare side. Whe asked the waitress to have it cooked.more she said, "We have pictures of the different doneness." She was fighting with me about the doneness. In the southern Naples we may need to get some reputable restaurant when you spent a night here. Especially I have to work tomorrow and need to go to more trusted consistence cooking. I don't get stomach pain while I am working next morning. Outback is the obvious choice for tonight since I am also spent the night with a coworker family here tonight to have good dinner. Seafood was not a choice since most of the family members don't eat seafood. Steak place as it is. No matter what I am order the coconut shrimp (Seafood) and the onion blossom for appetizer. The coconut shrimp is a bit too much coating. But overall is good. The entrée for me is the New Zealand Lamb medallions cook with Cabernet Wine sauce. I asking for the medium rare but it come with rare. However, the herb and seasoning is perfectly done. It accompany with the grilled asparagus and sweet potato with cinnamon butter. Yum. My friend has the porterhouse and the portion is hugh. He could not finish it. His wife has the Victoria Filet Mignon with most tender thick juicy cut. It is all good. The food came rather on time that we don't have to wait for long. The service is good since we have two kids in the group and they are very nice to the children. Wow!!! Ok so ordered some nice grilled salmon and veggies only to get home and discover is was seriously raw. Like Sushi raw. So I called the restaurant and Wow, not only did they offer to make me a new grilled salmon (cooked this time).but they also delivered it in under 30 minutes and offered me a free dessert that I unfortunately had to decline due to my diet. By 8:30 we STILL didn't have our food. We talked to the manager about the wait time and he did apologize and said they were rushing to get us seated and if we didn't want to wait then we should have ordered upfront. They brought our food to us and we decided to take our food home since it was already getting late. As we were boxing up our food, our food was COLD! My dad ordered Mac and cheese that was served in a "hot" skillet pan and it was not even slightly warm! While my mom was talking to the waitress, the waitress said "if you wanted fast food you should have gone to McDonald's." My husband and I, along with our two kids, stopped in for a quick dinner tonight. It honestly exceeded my expectations! Our server Christian was super attentive and gave great suggestions. He suggested the seared ahi tuna appetizer, which was excellent! And my husband and I each had a French onion soup that was definitely the best one I've had in Naples. My kids cleared their plates (which never happens) and as the manger Patrick was clearing our plates he suggested we share the strawberry pound cake for dessert. This place has become a joke. I have been doing a take away meal for several years. At least once a week I usually have a drink at the bar and order food to go. Lately it has been horrible. I was in a week ago and ordered a steak to go with no seasoning. When I got home,of course the steak was seasoned. I went back tonight and ordered the same meal to go. I told the bartender about the seasoning from last time, and she assured me that there would be no seasoning . I got the food home and the steak was seasoned.
